The Boys might be over but Prime Video still has a lot to offer viewers when August rolls around, as the streamer is releasing a number of new titles.

For example, Prime Video's Lord of the Rings prequel series is returning with all new episodes, while those in need of another superhero fix will be best served by a new animated Batman series. There's also titles that will become available to those with subscriptions to other streaming services on the platform.

Here is everything that you need to know about what's coming to Prime Video in August.

Prime Video is returning to JRR Tolkien's fantasy world for a new brand new season set in the Second Age of Middle Earth.

After Sauron (Charlie Vickers) was unmasked at the end of the first series it's now time for Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and the elves to find a way to stop the Dark Lord before it's too late. But Sauron is a master of disguise, and his plan to unleash death and destruction across the land will see him create the titular Rings of Power.

Kevin Conroy may no longer be voicing Batman after his death in 2022, but the character lives on in a new chapter of the DC animated universe. The new series stars Midnight Mass' Hamish Linklater as the voice of Bruce Wayne, and the series will follow Batman as he embarks on new missions to protect the city of Gotham.

Awkwafina and John Cena star in this buddy comedy drama set in a dystopian world where lottery winners must claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot before sundown — but the catch is that they are now a bounty themselves, and anyone can try to kill them to stop them from claiming the prize.

Awkwafina's Katie Kim mistakenly gets a winning ticket, making her the target. In order to get the prize, and avoid being killed, Katie teams up with amateur lottery protection agent Noel Cassidy (Cena) to get her there by sundown.
