GBL approach will encourage students to solve problems and self-learning and thus enable students to learn a mathematical concept without realizing it. The review findings show that GBL helps teachers to motivate student engagement in Mathematics. This is because GBL is regarded as a potential means for improving students' confidence and increasing their motivation by incorporating challenge, curiosity and fantasy to a specific problem. The application of GBL has a positive impact on student motivation and involvement in Mathematics learning. Further reading should be made on the motivational impact of student self-efficacy. This is because previous studies have also found that student motivation influences students' self-efficacy in that students who believe in their own abilities are more motivated to engage in learning

The application of technology in the teaching and learning process is in line with the needs of t... more The application of technology in the teaching and learning process is in line with the needs of today's students. The rapid development of technology has influenced the development of student self-esteem and the implementation of the teaching and learning process of Mathematics. However, the review shows that the current teaching and learning process illustrates that students are burdened with existing learning approaches and feel bored. Therefore, the application of the game-based learning (GBL) approach is appropriate as it can enhance student engagement in Mathematics. High student engagement is driven by students' self-confidence that builds through the learning process. This study aimed at identifying about student self efication using GBL. Hence, this article was drawn from previous works of literature to create an overview of the issue pertaining to student self efication in Mathematics using GBL. The application of GBL creates positive self-efficacy in students. This is because a well-designed GBL is able to engage students in meaningful learning environment activities. The GBL approach enables pupils to develop self-knowledge where students collaborate during learning in achieving their learning objectives. An interactive and technology-based learning process will make puppies fun while learning and thus develop the motivation and positive self-efficacy of students towards Mathematics.

Awareness of the importance of education among Orang Asli students in Malaysia is still at a low ... more Awareness of the importance of education among Orang Asli students in Malaysia is still at a low level, and this has contributed towards the increase of truancy rate among them. Lack of motivation to attend school was one of the cause contributed to this problem. If these problems are not addressed, they will be left out of from the mainstream education in the State. Thus, this study aims to explore how the Information Technology and Communication (ICT) program can increase their motivation to study. For this study, case studies used which involve Orang Asli students as the unit of analysis. Interviews and observations were conducted to obtain detailed information with respect to the phenomenon being studied. The results show that, the integration of ICT program has contributed in increasing their motivation to attend school. In conclusion, the implemented of ICT program plays an important role in improving Orang Asli students' motivation to gain knowledge.

Learning analytics (LA) is a useful approach in helping teachers to interpret the data obtained f... more Learning analytics (LA) is a useful approach in helping teachers to interpret the data obtained from students. Applying LA in Mathematics is also an effective approach for teachers to understand their students in depth. The objective of this systematic review is to look at LA applications and their benefits in teaching and learning Mathematics. Systematic review allows researcher to perform a clear examination of LA and Mathematics using systematic and explicit methods. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) approaches that cover resources from Scopus and Web of Science are applied in implementing a systematic review process, selection criteria and exceptions. As a result, 30 studies which related to LA and Mathematics have been reviewed. Review findings show that the LA approach in Mathematics is frequently applied in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. In this context, the improvement of the quality of teaching is seen through the improvement of the quality of learning materials, the ability to see the development of learning, and the improvement of student attitudes and behaviors towards Mathematics. LA's benefits in Mathematics education allow teachers to predict student achievement and the risk of dropout of students in learning. Proposed future studies should highlight qualitative studies or mixed methods in support of LA application in Mathematics. Applying a game-based approach (GBL) that has the potential to make the learning process more positive and effective by applying technology is an approach that can be explored in leveraging LA in Mathematics.

The implementation of problem-based learning method in education within various disciplines of kn... more The implementation of problem-based learning method in education within various disciplines of knowledge cannot be denied. The method is able to improve the traditional learning paradigm accommodating to the 21st century learning. The main aim of this review is to investigate the findings of studies related to the disciplines involving Problem Based Learning and its effects on education. The study uses a systematic approach analysis and synthesizes 43 articles from the year 2015 until 2018 including peer review articles and full text articles from ERIC and Google Scholar. It shows that the quantitative approach is the most used research method in investigating the disciplines applying PBL and the effects of such method towards education. This review involves various levels of education that use PBL as a method of teaching and learning. Overall, the results of this study show that Mathematics education is the discipline that uses PBL the most in teaching and learning. By and large, 95% of its users believe that PBL has positive impacts towards education and can be used as an alternative method at any level of education.

The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) into education is one of the ma... more The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) into education is one of the main approaches to fostering twenty-first century skills in teaching and learning processes. It is therefore vital to emphasize the integration of ICT into the university-level training of pre-service teachers, in order for them to effectively facilitate students' learning. ICT literacy is one of the important skills that should be possessed by twenty-first century teachers in order for them to meet the challenges of this era of information and technology. In relation to this, it is also important that pre-service teachers gain sufficient knowledge and are able to apply it innovatively and creatively in their teaching activities. This study aims to identify pre-service teachers' views on the usage of weblogs, their benefits and their preferred ways of using weblogs. The research participants were 68 pre-service teachers who were taking the GGGE2153 (Educational Technology) course. One focus of this course is that students are required to develop creative blogs for teaching and learning based on their areas of specialization. The elements of creativity, suitability for collaboration, user-friendliness and informativeness are among the criteria that should be of concern to students. The findings from the administered questionnaire show a positive impact of creating weblogs in relation to the development of twenty-first century skills.

The use of an online learning community is one possible approach to teachers' professional develo... more The use of an online learning community is one possible approach to teachers' professional development that can enhance the opportunity for collaboration. Discussions in online learning communities not only allow community members to share resources, ideas and expertise, but also contribute to the fulfilment of teachers' needs in terms of continuous learning and professional development. This paper reports the findings of a study that aimed to explore the factors that influence the way teachers behave in online communities. The research participants were 16 teachers from five secondary schools in Malaysia who were teaching English, science and mathematics. These teachers were involved in online learning communities via blogs in which they exchanged stories and experiences related to their teaching and learning activities. Data were generated through one-to-one interviews. Based on thematic analysis, the overall findings indicate that teachers' levels of participation in their online learning communities were largely influenced by cultural issues. Other factors that impacted upon their engagement were time, enforcement by school administrators and their need for an online community.

This study aims to explore teachers' engagement in communities of practice in schools and their views on the most effective professional development approach that they had experienced. The participants were 16 teachers from five schools in two states in Malaysia. The data was generated through semi-structured interviews. The analysis was done using thematic analysis, using Nvivo as a tool. The findings indicate that although for these teachers, attending courses, training and seminars helped them to gain new knowledge and related skills, their involvement in informal learning communities was significantly more meaningful for their professional development. This paper discusses the implications of this finding on the implementation of professional development currently being practiced in the Malaysian education system.

This article described the development and testing of a research instrument, known as Information... more This article described the development and testing of a research instrument, known as Information Skills Instrument which was designed to measure youth students' abilities to search, access and use information from multiple sources in the context of academic works. The instrument was inductively developed from a literature review and tested with a sample of Malaysian school and college students. Principal Component Analysis was used to examine the dimensionality and Cronbach's alpha was employed to estimate internal consistency of the developed instrument. The final instrument consists of 22 items and reveals five factors; identifying potential information sources; using information from multiple sources; identifying information needs, and identifying types of information sources. Cronbach's alpha was .871 for the total instrument and .806 to .463 for subscales. The study showed that Principal Component Analysis could assist the development and refinement process of final information skills instrument which requires further testing with other youth students.

Computational Thinking (CT) skills are a value that plays a role in highlighting the potential of an individual and who has advanced skills often will get more attention and respect than others. The design of this study is quasi-experimental. For this quasi experiment there are two groups of control and treatment. Both groups of respondents consisted of business administration students at one of the universities in Malaysia. The variables involved in this study are that the study groups use different methods of intervention; the treatment group used the module and the control group used the conventional method. Students' achievement in computational thinking skills was identified through the results of the analysis after intervention on 91 respondents. All respondents of this study are students as well as studying same course in University A. Before the post-test was conducted, the respondents involved in the study were tested for the homogeneity to reduce the internal and external threats. CT is a very interesting terminology and gets a good response among researchers. Most researchers have been aware and pay much attention to CT because most industries have started to focus on computational thinking skills as well as future work skills and one of the skills required among graduates is CT. Thus, we developed a mobile application development module to helps undergraduate students to learn and understand the concept of CT in well.

Fleksibiliti, mesra pengguna, kecil, kemudahan akses dan pelbagai keupayaan teknologi mudah alih yang lain menjadikannya berharga dan menjadi keperluan pada masa kini. Kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pelajar sekolah menengah menggunakan aplikasi mudah alih bagi subjek matematik dalam pembelajaran secara kendiri melalui satu kajian kes. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di sebuah sekolah menengah di Terengganu. Pengumpulan data juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen temu bual kepada 10 orang pelajar daripada populasi 233 orang pelajar sekolah menengah di Terengganu. Hasilnya menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan pembelajaran secara kendiri bagi pelajar lelaki dan perempuan dalam penggunaan aplikasi mudah alih. Oleh itu, pelajar sekolah menengah masih perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan motivasi mengenai pembelajaran secara kendiri kerana penggunaan teknologi seperti aplikasi mudah alih dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran adalah salah satu strategi pengajaran untuk perkembangan kemahiran metakognisi dalam penyelesaian masalah matematik.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat penggunaan video YouTube bagi meningkatkan minat dan pencapaian murid dalam pembelajaran Geografi Fizikal di sekolah menengah. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di sebuah sekolah menengah sekitar daerah Kulim Kedah. Rekabentuk kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuasi eksperimen yang terdiri daripada dua kumpulan dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam proses pengumpulan data dan penganalisisan data kajian. Populasi kajian adalah seramai 160 murid pelajar tingkatan 3 dan sampel kajian ini adalah persampelan bertujuan berdasarkan ciri yang di tetapkan yang terdiri daripada 64 orang murid-murid Tingkatan 3 yang dibahagikan kepada kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan rawatan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal selidik dan set ujian pencapaian untuk mengukur tahap pencapaian dan minat murid terhadap penggunaan video YouTube dalam pembelajaran Geografi. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pencapaian markah yang ketara bagi kumpulan rawatan kerana sangat minat murid terhadap penggunaan video YouTube dalam Geografi fizikal berbanding dengan kumpulan kawalan. Ini menunjukkan penggunaan bahan pengajaran seperti video YouTube dapat meningkatkan pencapaian dan ramai pelajar yang berminat untuk belajar Geografi atau mata pelajaran lain yang lebih berpotensi. Kesimpulannya kajian ini dapat memberi kesan positif kepada murid dan guru dalam mengaplikasikan penggunaan video YouTube dalam kelas. The objective of this systematic review is to look at GBL applications and its benefits in teaching and learning Mathematics. As such, students today are extensively exposed to gadgets such as smartphones, iPads, tablets, and so on. The advancement of technology has triggered a revolution in data generation by the devices used. That being said, learning analytics (LA) is significant in the field of education because it helps teachers interpret the data obtained from students via technology. Hence, this article was drawn from previous works of literature to create an overview of the issue pertaining to LA in Mathematics education. The application of LA in Mathematics is effective in helping teachers to understand students" potential thus improving the overall quality of the teaching and learning process. Moreover, LA in Mathematics allows teachers to predict both students" achievement and the risk of dropouts. Hence, teacher suggested to explored gamebased learning (GBL) approach with LA in Mathematics. They are facing a difficulty in education since less meaningful environment created for them which integrate their preferable learning styles. Additionally previous studies show that Orang Asli students had low motivation level in learning since less condusive education enviroment developed for them. Thus, it is important that teachers have a sound understanding of their students' different learning styles. The significance of understanding students' learning styles also applies to Orang Asli students. However, perhaps due to their isolation, this group's need for meaningful education has not been widely studied. Consequently, a lack of literature on their learning styles is apparent. This study aims to measure whether the learning styles positively affect meaningful learning among Orang Asli students. A quantitative research was conducted which involved 72 Orang Asli students from an Orang Asli community in Selangor, Malaysia. The data was collected using the Meaningful Hybrid E-Training Instruments. Data was analyzed with the SmartPLS 3.0 software. The research findings show that the instrument is highly reliable and valid. Moreover, it has been discovered that Orang Asli students' learning styles have a positive effect upon their meaningful learning. This study demonstrated that teaching and learning activities catering to these students' different learning styles allow meaningful learning to be achieved more successfully. Therefore, teachers are highly encouraged to take into account the various learning styles of Orang Asli students in their teaching in order to help them achieve meaningful learning.

Computational thinking (CT) is one of the skills or processes needed in computer science. However... more Computational thinking (CT) is one of the skills or processes needed in computer science. However, these skills can also be integrated into any field in education. The objective of this literature review is to study the benefits and challenges of computational thinking (CT) in education. This literature review is analyses 55 references obtained from various sources, based on predefined keywords. The references were then analysed using NVivo software to code them according to several main points. Based on the literature review, there are many benefits of computational thinking in education, including increasing critical and analytical thinking among students, cultivating CT skills in STEM education among students, improving pedagogy and curriculum, and fostering CT skills through game-based learning (GBL). However, there are some challenges facing the implementation of computational thinking in the field of education. These include teachers' understanding of computational CT, lack of confidence, lack of the skills required to implement CT, and students' acceptance of CT. In order to overcome these challenges, there are two important aspects to consider: ensuring teachers' level of knowledge and level of readiness about CT is high. It is hoped that this literature review will be able to provide educators with an understanding of the extent to which CT is able to shape education to be more creative and meaningful.

Kesedaran ini perlu diterapkan pada setiap individu dalam masyarakat. Namun, pelajar sekolah adalah golongan yang paling berisiko untuk terdedah dalam kes jenayah siber. Ini adalah kerana faktor umur dan tahap pemikiran mereka mendorong mereka menjadi mangsa jenayah siber dengan mudah. Justeru, kesedaran keselamatan siber dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah perlu diterapkan bagi memastikan mereka tidak menjadi mangsa jenayah siber. Teknologi Internet banyak digunakan oleh golongan ini melalui penggunaan gajet yang menyumbang kepada peningkatan jenayah siber. Pendedahan tentang maklumat kesedaran keselamatan siber juga masih lagi kurang di Malaysia. Inisiatif kerajaan terhadap isu ini boleh dilihat melalui platform web Klik Bijak dan juga program Cyber Safe di sekolah-sekolah. Pelaksanaannya yang kurang memberi kesan membuka ruang untuk penambahbaikan program kesedaran ini. Dalam kajian ini, modul ini menggabungkan elemen penceritaan digital (Digital Story Telling) serta gamifikasi ke dalam modul kesedaran keselamatan siber (KuSedar) yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesedaran keselamatan siber dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah serta membantu dalam pembangunan modul kesedaran keselamatan siber lain selepas ini. Selain itu, kajian ini melibatkan pakar psikologi, pakar pedagogi dan pakar teknologi/multimedia di mana maklum balas mereka digunakan sebagai panduan dalam membangunkan modul tersebut untuk memastikan kandungannya sesuai digunakan oleh pelajar-pelajar di sekolah. Pembangunan modul ini turut bersandar kepada tiga teori pembelajaran yang berkaitan iaitu Teori Pembelajaran Sosial Kognitif, Teori Tingkahlaku serta Teori Pembelajaran Konstruktivisme.

The rapid development of technology has influenced the development of student self-esteem and the implementation of the teaching and learning process of Mathematics. However, the review shows that the current teaching and learning process illustrates that students are burdened with existing learning approaches and feel bored. Therefore, the application of the game-based learning (GBL) approach is appropriate as it can enhance student engagement in Mathematics. High student engagement is driven by students' self-confidence that builds through the learning process. This study aimed at identifying about student self efication using GBL. Hence, this article was drawn from previous works of literature to create an overview of the issue pertaining to student self efication in Mathematics using GBL. The application of GBL creates positive self-efficacy in students. This is because a well-designed GBL is able to engage students in meaningful learning environment activities. The GBL approach enables pupils to develop self-knowledge where students collaborate during learning in achieving their learning objectives. An interactive and technology-based learning process will make puppies fun while learning and thus develop the motivation and positive self-efficacy of students towards Mathematics.

Lack of motivation to attend school was one of the cause contributed to this problem. If these problems are not addressed, they will be left out of from the mainstream education in the State. Thus, this study aims to explore how the Information Technology and Communication (ICT) program can increase their motivation to study. For this study, case studies used which involve Orang Asli students as the unit of analysis. Interviews and observations were conducted to obtain detailed information with respect to the phenomenon being studied. The results show that, the integration of ICT program has contributed in increasing their motivation to attend school. In conclusion, the implemented of ICT program plays an important role in improving Orang Asli students' motivation to gain knowledge.

Applying LA in Mathematics is also an effective approach for teachers to understand their students in depth. The objective of this systematic review is to look at LA applications and their benefits in teaching and learning Mathematics. Systematic review allows researcher to perform a clear examination of LA and Mathematics using systematic and explicit methods. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) approaches that cover resources from Scopus and Web of Science are applied in implementing a systematic review process, selection criteria and exceptions. As a result, 30 studies which related to LA and Mathematics have been reviewed. Review findings show that the LA approach in Mathematics is frequently applied in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. In this context, the improvement of the quality of teaching is seen through the improvement of the quality of learning materials, the ability to see the development of learning, and the improvement of student attitudes and behaviors towards Mathematics. LA's benefits in Mathematics education allow teachers to predict student achievement and the risk of dropout of students in learning. Proposed future studies should highlight qualitative studies or mixed methods in support of LA application in Mathematics. Applying a game-based approach (GBL) that has the potential to make the learning process more positive and effective by applying technology is an approach that can be explored in leveraging LA in Mathematics.

The method is able to improve the traditional learning paradigm accommodating to the 21st century learning. The main aim of this review is to investigate the findings of studies related to the disciplines involving Problem Based Learning and its effects on education. The study uses a systematic approach analysis and synthesizes 43 articles from the year 2015 until 2018 including peer review articles and full text articles from ERIC and Google Scholar. It shows that the quantitative approach is the most used research method in investigating the disciplines applying PBL and the effects of such method towards education. This review involves various levels of education that use PBL as a method of teaching and learning. Overall, the results of this study show that Mathematics education is the discipline that uses PBL the most in teaching and learning. By and large, 95% of its users believe that PBL has positive impacts towards education and can be used as an alternative method at any level of education.

It is therefore vital to emphasize the integration of ICT into the university-level training of pre-service teachers, in order for them to effectively facilitate students' learning. ICT literacy is one of the important skills that should be possessed by twenty-first century teachers in order for them to meet the challenges of this era of information and technology. In relation to this, it is also important that pre-service teachers gain sufficient knowledge and are able to apply it innovatively and creatively in their teaching activities. This study aims to identify pre-service teachers' views on the usage of weblogs, their benefits and their preferred ways of using weblogs. The research participants were 68 pre-service teachers who were taking the GGGE2153 (Educational Technology) course. One focus of this course is that students are required to develop creative blogs for teaching and learning based on their areas of specialization. The elements of creativity, suitability for collaboration, user-friendliness and informativeness are among the criteria that should be of concern to students. The findings from the administered questionnaire show a positive impact of creating weblogs in relation to the development of twenty-first century skills.

Discussions in online learning communities not only allow community members to share resources, ideas and expertise, but also contribute to the fulfilment of teachers' needs in terms of continuous learning and professional development. This paper reports the findings of a study that aimed to explore the factors that influence the way teachers behave in online communities. The research participants were 16 teachers from five secondary schools in Malaysia who were teaching English, science and mathematics. These teachers were involved in online learning communities via blogs in which they exchanged stories and experiences related to their teaching and learning activities. Data were generated through one-to-one interviews. Based on thematic analysis, the overall findings indicate that teachers' levels of participation in their online learning communities were largely influenced by cultural issues. Other factors that impacted upon their engagement were time, enforcement by school administrators and their need for an online community.

This study aims to explore teachers' engagement in communities of practice in schools and their views on the most effective professional development approach that they had experienced. The participants were 16 teachers from five schools in two states in Malaysia. The data was generated through semi-structured interviews. The analysis was done using thematic analysis, using Nvivo as a tool. The findings indicate that although for these teachers, attending courses, training and seminars helped them to gain new knowledge and related skills, their involvement in informal learning communities was significantly more meaningful for their professional development. This paper discusses the implications of this finding on the implementation of professional development currently being practiced in the Malaysian education system.

This article described the development and testing of a research instrument, known as Information... more This article described the development and testing of a research instrument, known as Information Skills Instrument which was designed to measure youth students' abilities to search, access and use information from multiple sources in the context of academic works. The instrument was inductively developed from a literature review and tested with a sample of Malaysian school and college students. Principal Component Analysis was used to examine the dimensionality and Cronbach's alpha was employed to estimate internal consistency of the developed instrument. The final instrument consists of 22 items and reveals five factors; identifying potential information sources; using information from multiple sources; identifying information needs, and identifying types of information sources. Cronbach's alpha was .871 for the total instrument and .806 to .463 for subscales. The study showed that Principal Component Analysis could assist the development and refinement process of final information skills instrument which requires further testing with other youth students.

Computational Thinking (CT) skills are a value that plays a role in highlighting the potential of an individual and who has advanced skills often will get more attention and respect than others. The design of this study is quasi-experimental. For this quasi experiment there are two groups of control and treatment. Both groups of respondents consisted of business administration students at one of the universities in Malaysia. The variables involved in this study are that the study groups use different methods of intervention; the treatment group used the module and the control group used the conventional method. Students' achievement in computational thinking skills was identified through the results of the analysis after intervention on 91 respondents. All respondents of this study are students as well as studying same course in University A. Before the post-test was conducted, the respondents involved in the study were tested for the homogeneity to reduce the internal and external threats. CT is a very interesting terminology and gets a good response among researchers. Most researchers have been aware and pay much attention to CT because most industries have started to focus on computational thinking skills as well as future work skills and one of the skills required among graduates is CT. Thus, we developed a mobile application development module to helps undergraduate students to learn and understand the concept of CT in well.

Kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pelajar sekolah menengah menggunakan aplikasi mudah alih bagi subjek matematik dalam pembelajaran secara kendiri melalui satu kajian kes. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di sebuah sekolah menengah di Terengganu. Pengumpulan data juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen temu bual kepada 10 orang pelajar daripada populasi 233 orang pelajar sekolah menengah di Terengganu. Hasilnya menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan pembelajaran secara kendiri bagi pelajar lelaki dan perempuan dalam penggunaan aplikasi mudah alih. Oleh itu, pelajar sekolah menengah masih perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan motivasi mengenai pembelajaran secara kendiri kerana penggunaan teknologi seperti aplikasi mudah alih dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran adalah salah satu strategi pengajaran untuk perkembangan kemahiran metakognisi dalam penyelesaian masalah matematik.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat penggunaan video YouTube bagi meningkatkan minat dan pencapaian murid dalam pembelajaran Geografi Fizikal di sekolah menengah. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di sebuah sekolah menengah sekitar daerah Kulim Kedah. Rekabentuk kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuasi eksperimen yang terdiri daripada dua kumpulan dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam proses pengumpulan data dan penganalisisan data kajian. Populasi kajian adalah seramai 160 murid pelajar tingkatan 3 dan sampel kajian ini adalah persampelan bertujuan berdasarkan ciri yang di tetapkan yang terdiri daripada 64 orang murid-murid Tingkatan 3 yang dibahagikan kepada kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan rawatan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal selidik dan set ujian pencapaian untuk mengukur tahap pencapaian dan minat murid terhadap penggunaan video YouTube dalam pembelajaran Geografi. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pencapaian markah yang ketara bagi kumpulan rawatan kerana sangat minat murid terhadap penggunaan video YouTube dalam Geografi fizikal berbanding dengan kumpulan kawalan. Ini menunjukkan penggunaan bahan pengajaran seperti video YouTube dapat meningkatkan pencapaian dan ramai pelajar yang berminat untuk belajar Geografi atau mata pelajaran lain yang lebih berpotensi. Kesimpulannya kajian ini dapat memberi kesan positif kepada murid dan guru dalam mengaplikasikan penggunaan video YouTube dalam kelas. They are facing a difficulty in education since less meaningful environment created for them which integrate their preferable learning styles. Additionally previous studies show that Orang Asli students had low motivation level in learning since less condusive education enviroment developed for them. Thus, it is important that teachers have a sound understanding of their students' different learning styles. The significance of understanding students' learning styles also applies to Orang Asli students. However, perhaps due to their isolation, this group's need for meaningful education has not been widely studied. Consequently, a lack of literature on their learning styles is apparent. This study aims to measure whether the learning styles positively affect meaningful learning among Orang Asli students. A quantitative research was conducted which involved 72 Orang Asli students from an Orang Asli community in Selangor, Malaysia. The data was collected using the Meaningful Hybrid E-Training Instruments. Data was analyzed with the SmartPLS 3.0 software. The research findings show that the instrument is highly reliable and valid. Moreover, it has been discovered that Orang Asli students' learning styles have a positive effect upon their meaningful learning. This study demonstrated that teaching and learning activities catering to these students' different learning styles allow meaningful learning to be achieved more successfully. Therefore, teachers are highly encouraged to take into account the various learning styles of Orang Asli students in their teaching in order to help them achieve meaningful learning.

Computational thinking (CT) is one of the skills or processes needed in computer science. However... more Computational thinking (CT) is one of the skills or processes needed in computer science. However, these skills can also be integrated into any field in education. The objective of this literature review is to study the benefits and challenges of computational thinking (CT) in education. This literature review is analyses 55 references obtained from various sources, based on predefined keywords. The references were then analysed using NVivo software to code them according to several main points. Based on the literature review, there are many benefits of computational thinking in education, including increasing critical and analytical thinking among students, cultivating CT skills in STEM education among students, improving pedagogy and curriculum, and fostering CT skills through game-based learning (GBL). However, there are some challenges facing the implementation of computational thinking in the field of education. These include teachers' understanding of computational CT, lack of confidence, lack of the skills required to implement CT, and students' acceptance of CT. In order to overcome these challenges, there are two important aspects to consider: ensuring teachers' level of knowledge and level of readiness about CT is high. It is hoped that this literature review will be able to provide educators with an understanding of the extent to which CT is able to shape education to be more creative and meaningful.

Kesedaran ini perlu diterapkan pada setiap individu dalam masyarakat. Namun, pelajar sekolah adalah golongan yang paling berisiko untuk terdedah dalam kes jenayah siber. Ini adalah kerana faktor umur dan tahap pemikiran mereka mendorong mereka menjadi mangsa jenayah siber dengan mudah. Justeru, kesedaran keselamatan siber dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah perlu diterapkan bagi memastikan mereka tidak menjadi mangsa jenayah siber. Teknologi Internet banyak digunakan oleh golongan ini melalui penggunaan gajet yang menyumbang kepada peningkatan jenayah siber. Pendedahan tentang maklumat kesedaran keselamatan siber juga masih lagi kurang di Malaysia. Inisiatif kerajaan terhadap isu ini boleh dilihat melalui platform web Klik Bijak dan juga program Cyber Safe di sekolah-sekolah. Pelaksanaannya yang kurang memberi kesan membuka ruang untuk penambahbaikan program kesedaran ini. Dalam kajian ini, modul ini menggabungkan elemen penceritaan digital (Digital Story Telling) serta gamifikasi ke dalam modul kesedaran keselamatan siber (KuSedar) yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesedaran keselamatan siber dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah serta membantu dalam pembangunan modul kesedaran keselamatan siber lain selepas ini. Selain itu, kajian ini melibatkan pakar psikologi, pakar pedagogi dan pakar teknologi/multimedia di mana maklum balas mereka digunakan sebagai panduan dalam membangunkan modul tersebut untuk memastikan kandungannya sesuai digunakan oleh pelajar-pelajar di sekolah. Pembangunan modul ini turut bersandar kepada tiga teori pembelajaran yang berkaitan iaitu Teori Pembelajaran Sosial Kognitif, Teori Tingkahlaku serta Teori Pembelajaran Konstruktivisme.
