- Ultraman Joneus is voiced by Masatō Ibu (伊武 雅刀, Ibu Masatō). Tom Wyner voiced Ultraman Joneus in the English dub of The☆Ultraman.[2]
- In Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, Ultraman Joneus is voiced by Nobuaki Kanemitsu (金光 宣明, Kanemitsu Nobuaki). Ultraman Joneus is voiced by Ryan Drees in the English dub.[3]

- Joneus is the first Ultraman to appear in an animated format.
- Joneus, along with other U40 Ultras, is the first Ultraman in the Ultra Series to not have a spinal fin on his design.
