The University of Mount Olive is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctoral degree levels. The University of Mount Olive also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) undergraduate programs with concentrations in Accounting, Business Management, Healthcare Management, and Human Resource Management – and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, as well as the Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA-Healthcare Management, and MBA-Accounting programs in the Tillman School of Business – are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), 7007 College Blvd. Suite 420 Overland Park, KS 66211, (913) 339-9366. The Tillman School of Business is pursuing accreditation from ACBSP for the BSBA in Finance, the BSBA in Marketing, and the BS in Aviation and Business Management (Pilot Manned) in accordance with the prescribed process for new undergraduate programs.

The Human Resource Management program is endorsed by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

The BSN and MSN degree programs at the University of Mount Olive are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.

The Undergraduate and Master of Education programs in the Division of Education are approved by the North Carolina State Board of Education.

UMO’s M.S. in Counseling Program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation for Counseling and other Related Educational Programs (CACREP), 500 Montgomery Street, Suite 350; Alexandria, VA 22314

UMO’s M.S. in Counseling Program Clinical Mental Health Counseling specialty is approved as a Criteria C program for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) in the State of North Carolina.
