Customer satisfaction is undoubtedly one of the strong factors ensuring customer retention. Several researches have been done in the past to identify factors influencing customer satisfaction and in turn leading to customer retention. With changing perceptions, preferences and markets, we find a need to reinvestigate what are the key factors of customer satisfaction affecting customer retention in Malaysian fast food industry. Product quality, service quality, prices, facility and emotional factor are selected as factors of customer satisfaction (independent variables) based on extensive literature review. The research uses primary data collected from 180 Malaysian fast food customers using a multi-factor questionnaire with a Likert-scale from 1 to 5. To ensure reliability and validity the questionnaire was checked by Cronbach’s Alpha and principal components analysis was ca...

Therefore, existing customer perceived value (CPV) scales developed for conventional business contexts may not thoroughly capture the CPV of m-commerce (M-VAL). Although a significant and increasing body of literature examined the benefits and costs of mobile shopping, extant literature revealed that no studies had operationalised all of the essential facets to measuring M-VAL. In order to address this gap, this research reported on four studies and generated a scale to encapsulate the holistic approach of M-VAL. A 25 item M-VAL scale was developed through a rigorous scale construction and validation process. The findings showed that M-VAL is a multidimensional, second order, and reflective construct consisting of three primary dimensions and nine sub-dimensions. The M-VAL dimensions are specifically derived as utilitarian value (information value, economic value, and convenience value), interaction value (interface value, visual value, gamification value, and customisation value) and credibility value (system credibility value and social credibility value). The nine sub-dimensions can be concluded as distinct from the dimensions in earlier models in various aspects and are consistent with the unique nature of m-commerce. Notably, the study developed the CPV scale especially for m-commerce, taking into account several elements that differentiated m-commerce from in-store and e-commerce.

Researchers are consistently trying to find out ways that can facilitate the reduction of naturally unfriendly impacts. In this context, “green corridors” play a critical role. The main goal of the “green corridors” is to help build sustainable industrial, urban, and transportation networks by meeting requirements for environmental, technical, economic, social, and space planning issues. This paper provides a critical perspective on extant “green corridor” research by analyzing its performance and unwinding the intellectual structure. The perspective also sheds light on gaps in current literature and, therefore, possible future research avenues and calls for research in the field of “green corridor.”

However, do green consumer behaviors gets influenced by such marketing practices or it is result of green consumption values? The research-based chapter answers this question by developing a conceptual model against the background of green consumer behavior theories. The explanatory research design with quantitative research method was employed. Empirical data was collected using self-administered online questionnaire from 234 Singaporean consumers of green products. Collected data was then subjected to a range of analysis techniques using IBM SPSS AMOS 24. The findings suggest that green consumption values have stronger impact on consumer behavior as compared to that of marketing communication. However, impact of both independent variables was found to be positive and significant. In addition, it was identified that no mediating effect of marketing communication exists in relationship between green consumption values and consumer behavior.

This has also generated possible changes in online consumer preferences. Although several studies have identified factors affecting online repurchase intention (ORI), a fresh look is required to identify key determinants of ORI. Thus, the current study, through extensive literature review, proposes and investigates such ORI determinants. Explanatory design with quantitative research method is used, and empirical data is collected using a self-administered e-questionnaire. A sample of 243 responses were collected from online consumers using snowball sampling. The data were then analyzed using AMOS 24 through series of statistical analysis. The findings show that web quality, service quality, credibility are key determinants of online repurchase intension. Electronic word of mouth (E-WoM) and customer relationship management (CRM) demonstrated insignificant impact on ORI. The results also identify perceived web quality as a factor with strongest impact on ORI.
