Teknologi injeksi bahan bakar (Fuel Injection System) adalah teknologi yang mencampur bahan bakar dengan udara sebelum masuk ke ruang bakar, kemudian disemprotkan dengan tekanan tertentu. Nozzle injektor berperan penting dalam penyemprotan bahan bakar. Terdapat lubang pada ujung nozzle, lubang ini merupakan sarana untuk menginjeksi bahan bakar dengan cara pengabutan. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui perubahan torsi dan daya pada sepeda motor honda Beat FI tahun 2014 dengan pembesaran piston 0,75 mm pada jumlah lubang nozzle injektor dengan variasi lubang 4. 6 dan 8 dengan bahan bakar pertamax. Tungku Reheating adalah tungku yang dipakai sebagai pemanas logam dalam proses forging, dalam pem... more Tungku Reheating adalah tungku yang dipakai sebagai pemanas logam dalam proses forging, dalam pembuatan tungku Reheating bertujuan untuk merancang tungku Reheating dari awal dan mengerjakan tungku Reheating ini hingga selesai dan dapat dipergunakan dengan normal. Pembuatan tungku Reheating ini untuk memproduksi alat perkakas dengan menggunakan logam non ferro dan baja dengan karbon rendah dengan target temperatur 300 °C. Pembuatan tungku Reheating ini adalah tungku yang tahan terhadap api Pengujian dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali dengan kecepatan kompresor yang berbeda yaitu 706 Rpm, 1222 Rpm dan 1407 Rpm, dengan kecepatan tersebut maka waktu yang dihasilkan untuk mencapai 300 °C pada kecepatan 706 Rpm adalah 276 detik sedangkan pada kecepatan 1222 Rpm adalah 202 detik dan kecepatan 1407 Rpm adalah 156 detik jadi ketika kecepatan semakin tinggi maka waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam mencapai temperatur 300 °C semakin sedikit.

The regeneration process in saturated dehydrator after working to drying the gas in the dehydrati... more The regeneration process in saturated dehydrator after working to drying the gas in the dehydration unit in the Natural Gas Liquified Extraction (NGLE) plant. This process is through the heating dehydrator process by flowing the regeneration gas into the dehydrator slowly (rump up temperature) until it reaches the heating temperature,and then holding the condition. Its condition is in accordance with the engineering design and followed by a rump down temperature which the dehydrator will be cooled down and ready for the dehydration process. This regeneration process works automatically in accordance with the engineering design which runs following the logic control that has been implemented into the Distributed Control System (DCS) in the Control Room. All order in DCS to obtain gas that has been moisture limited value which is allowed to be extracted. This is a part of ongoing research to design a novel leveling system for FDM 3D by introducing a new system to replace the screw system. Previous research has introduced a new concept design to quick and easy levelling of FDM 3D printer's heated bed using staggered pin design. This paper is to analyze the staggered pin system by simulating various dimensions and materials using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation software. Best configuration was analyzed by comparing the VMS value obtained from the simulation. Using FEA, 18 design configurations have been simulated and analyzed. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana tingkat kavitasi pada runner turbin yang terjadi di PLTA Batang... more Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana tingkat kavitasi pada runner turbin yang terjadi di PLTA Batang Agam. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat kavitasi yang terjadi pada pipa saluran input runner turbin. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis data dengan menggunakan beberapa persamaan yang bersumber dari pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa head efektif berbanding terbalik dengan debit air yang masuk ke turbin. Head efektif tertinggi pada 100,55 m dengan debit 0,9 m3/s. Sedangkan head efektif terendah berada pada 96,26 m dengan debit 4,8 m3/s. Koefisien kavitasi yang diperoleh berbanding lurus dengan aliran air yang masuk ke turbin. Dari ketiga sistem tersebut yang mempunyai potensi besar terhadap keandalan kendaraan bermotor adalah sistem pendingin. Proses pembakaran diruang bakar akan menimbulkan panas, dan panas tersebut diserap oleh coolant radiator dan jika air radiator panas akan merusak komponen engine. Tujuan dari penelitian ini melakukan analisis laju aliran fluida terhadap perubahan temperatur untuk menentukan akar penyebab. The purpose of this study was to determine the ratio of torque, power, and fuel consumption in a two-stroke gasoline engine produced from standard, platinum, and iridium spark plugs. The method used in this research is to use the one-way variance test method or One-way ANOVA. This test was carried out using a Yamaha F1ZR motorcycle which was carried out using a dyno test tool. The test results for this platinum spark plug have the highest torque reaching 14.78 ft-lbs at 7,500 rpm engine speed, while for standard spark plugs obtained 10.14 ft-lbs. at 7500 rpm engine speed and iridium spark plugs get 9.53 ft-lbs at 7500 rpm engine speed. The rapid developing of technology today has forced manufacturing companies to widely expands the... more The rapid developing of technology today has forced manufacturing companies to widely expands their business and production abilities. Efficiencies in all aspects must be taken to maximized production capacity and reduce waste to survive. Lean's SMED technique is one of waste reduction method that usually used in manufacturing companies and specifically called the Quick Die Change (QDC) for metal stamping companies. But some research related to QDC only discuss the setup tools and operator movement during setup and process. This research observed the setup process of the die construction that has been modified to be able to reduce the setup time and other time wasted activities. This QDC die construction could save setup time by 60% compared to conventional die and could do more if carefully planned. Research conducted in an automotive spare parts maker in Jakarta wider region that already use this QDC die in their production line.

Unfortunately, most of the previous studies concerning on managing risk in small and medium enterprises within a supply chain context are mostly focused on economic and operational risks and overlooking to the emerging risk, the sustainability risk. There is a need to have a better understanding of the mode of sustainability-risk variables affecting the operability of small and medium enterprises in supply chain context and framework for measuring their sustainability risk indices. This study, therefore, proposes a conceptual model to classify sustainability-related risk variables in the operation of the small and medium enterprises departing from the triple bottom lines namely, economic, environmental, and social risk from earlier references and develops a framework for measuring supply chain sustainability risk. proposed. The distinction between operational and sustainability risk variables and additional parameters for measuring the scale of risk score are presented. In the end, the paper provides new research directions for deeper investigation.

Metal stamping industry has Quick Die Change (QDC) as a form of Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (... more Metal stamping industry has Quick Die Change (QDC) as a form of Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (SMED) as an efficient production technique where the implementation depends on operator’s activities, clamping system, accessories type and position, etc. This QDC could apply to improve the process efficiency, control of inventory and reducing the cost. This research compared the traditional metal stamping process and QDC System (QDCS) of metal stamping. This research was using Focused Group Discussion (FGD), direct observation and experiments, conducted in a private metal stamping company in wider Jakarta region of Indonesia. It was observed that the QDCS significantly reduces setup time, storage space and the cost. The setup time and cost reduced to one third of the conventional and the requirement of storage decreased by 70%. In addition, QDCS reduces the waste significantly.

Dari ketiga sistem tersebut yang mempunyai potensi besar terhadap keandalan kendaraan bermotor adalah sistem pendingin. Proses pembakaran diruang bakar akan menimbulkan panas, dan panas tersebut diserap oleh coolant radiator dan jika air radiator panas akan merusak komponen engine. Tujuan dari penelitian ini melakukan analisis laju aliran fluida terhadap perubahan temperatur untuk menentukan akar penyebab. Adapun metode berbentuk eksperimen yaitu mengetahui pengaruh laju aliran massa fluida, perubahan temperatur fluida masuk dan kapasitas radiator Honda CBR 150 CC. The purpose of this study was to determine the ratio of torque, power, and fuel consumption in a two-stroke gasoline engine produced from standard, platinum, and iridium spark plugs. The method used in this research is to use the one-way variance test method or One-way ANOVA. This test was carried out using a Yamaha F1ZR motorcycle which was carried out using a dyno test tool. The test results for this platinum spark plug have the highest torque reaching 14.78 ft-lbs at 7,500 rpm engine speed, while for standard spark plugs obtained 10.14 ft-lbs. at 7500 rpm engine speed and iridium spark plugs get 9.53 ft-lbs at 7500 rpm engine speed. Efficiencies in all aspects must be taken to maximized production capacity and reduce waste to survive. Lean's SMED technique is one of waste reduction method that usually used in manufacturing companies and specifically called the Quick Die Change (QDC) for metal stamping companies. But some research related to QDC only discuss the setup tools and operator movement during setup and process. This research observed the setup process of the die construction that has been modified to be able to reduce the setup time and other time wasted activities. This QDC die construction could save setup time by 60% compared to conventional die and could do more if carefully planned. Research conducted in an automotive spare parts maker in Jakarta wider region that already use this QDC die in their production line.

Unfortunately, most of the previous studies concerning on managing risk in small and medium enterprises within a supply chain context are mostly focused on economic and operational risks and overlooking to the emerging risk, the sustainability risk. There is a need to have a better understanding of the mode of sustainability-risk variables affecting the operability of small and medium enterprises in supply chain context and framework for measuring their sustainability risk indices. This study, therefore, proposes a conceptual model to classify sustainability-related risk variables in the operation of the small and medium enterprises departing from the triple bottom lines namely, economic, environmental, and social risk from earlier references and develops a framework for measuring supply chain sustainability risk. proposed. The distinction between operational and sustainability risk variables and additional parameters for measuring the scale of risk score are presented. In the end, the paper provides new research directions for deeper investigation.

This part can only process in a 1000 tons machine while this company only have 2 of this machine with full workload. Metal stamping industry has Quick Die Change (QDC) as a form of Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (... more Metal stamping industry has Quick Die Change (QDC) as a form of Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (SMED) as an efficient production technique where the implementation depends on operator’s activities, clamping system, accessories type and position, etc. This QDC could apply to improve the process efficiency, control of inventory and reducing the cost. This research compared the traditional metal stamping process and QDC System (QDCS) of metal stamping. This research was using Focused Group Discussion (FGD), direct observation and experiments, conducted in a private metal stamping company in wider Jakarta region of Indonesia. It was observed that the QDCS significantly reduces setup time, storage space and the cost. The setup time and cost reduced to one third of the conventional and the requirement of storage decreased by 70%. In addition, QDCS reduces the waste significantly.
