The impact of stress and coping strategies on achievement motivation of university students was e... more The impact of stress and coping strategies on achievement motivation of university students was examined in this study.The current study was descriptive in nature and cross-sectional survey method was applied for the collection of data. Population of this study comprised of public sector universities of Islamabad.To select representative sample from the population, disproportionate stratified random sampling technique was used. The sample consisted of 756 students from two universities of Islamabad. In this study, three standardized instruments were used to measure stress developed by Barreca&Hepler (2000), coping strategies developed by David &Alexandra (1995) and achievement motivation developed by Mclnerney (2003). Data were analysed by applying mean, standard deviation, t-test and correlation. Research findings reveals that there is significant difference in responses between male and female university students regarding coping strategies and achievement motivation, this study also reveals that there is significant relationship between student's stress and achievement motivation and it also reveals that coping strategies have positive correlation with achievement motivation. It is recommended that higher authorities of educational organizations may organize orientation seminars, regular stress management programs, and guidance and counseling services to meet the need of students and to achieve their academic targets effectively.

The basic objective of this study was toexamine the impact of family issues and multitaskingon the job stress in the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan. The data was collected from the employees working in different universities in the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir by using Likert scale ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree. We usedSPSS version 21 for analysis purposeand analyzed data by using regression analysis. The findings suggested that family issues and multitasking had a significant impact on job stress. Furthermore, the findingcan be used in policy initiative by top management to reduce the job stress of the employees and enhance the quality of services.

Mixed method research was used to conduct the study. Four universities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were randomly chosen. Four deans of social sciences, 40 heads of social sciences, and 175 faculty members were chosen as the sample. Deans of social sciences were interviewed for qualitative aspects. Two questionnaires were developed, one for heads and the other for teachers for quantitative analysis. Statistical and descriptive evidence of the study concluded that heads' leadership and team management significantly contribute towards teachers’ job satisfaction level.

Twenty senior school leaders from the AJ&k Mirpur department and 60 senior teachers from the public sector were selected as subjects. Samples were selected using simple random sampling techniques. Two questionnaires were prepared, one for the principal and the other for the senior teachers. Mean, standard deviation, and linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The result revealed that the leadership style of the school heads greatly contributed to the progress of the school. The present investigated the level of student support services' current condition of librarie... more The present investigated the level of student support services' current condition of libraries and the level of safety in degree colleges of Punjab by sampling 65 teachers and 120 students. A survey with 15 questions divided into three areas in educational environment and was posed to two cohorts of the above sample. The first are of the survey contained 4 questions on support services, 4 questions on libraries and 7 questions on safety were completed by the teachers and the students (see below for details). Percent agreement-disagreement scores were collected to assess how teachers and students perceived degree college environment. Results suggested teachers and students did not differ much on their assessment of colleges and agreed (56%; disagreed: 23%) student support, libraries and safety were adequate in their educational environment.

The research design was quantitative in nature. The population of the study comprised of all university students of Islamabad. The simple random technique was used for the selection of the sample. The respondents were 80 students from those universities. Data were collected through a questionnaire and it has consisted of 56 items. Data were analyzed using statically mean, standard deviation and regression analysis of the impact of SSS on students’ development. The findings of study reveal that library services are adequate as compared to the availability of other support services and the results also reveal a strong relationship found among student support services and students’ development. It is recommended that the universities should make sure the availability of SSS.

All the teachers, students and parents of Gujranwala Division in Punjab were the population of the study. Stratified random sampling technique was applied for the selection of sample. Three questionnaires were used in this study for the collection of data. Data were collected through personal visits of sampled schools. Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean and independent sample t-test. It was found that majority of students were enrolled in session 2019-20. Furthermore, majority of the students were enrolled in technical subjects on the demand of their parents and technical subjects have fame among the students. It is recommended that the government may arrange some kind of public awareness seminars at local level.

Incivility was determined in terms of discouretous and neglecting behavior of family memebrs at home while immediate supervisors at workplace. Role-conflict refers to the interferences of family members during office hours. The study further examined the moderating role of gender in each proposed effect. For empirical analysis, primary data were collected from regular teachers of public sector universities of AJK through mailed questionnaires. The present investigated the level of student support services' current condition of librarie... more The present investigated the level of student support services' current condition of libraries and the level of safety in degree colleges of Punjab by sampling 65 teachers and 120 students. A survey with 15 questions divided into three areas in educational environment and was posed to two cohorts of the above sample. The first are of the survey contained 4 questions on support services, 4 questions on libraries and 7 questions on safety were completed by the teachers and the students (see below for details). Percent agreement-disagreement scores were collected to assess how teachers and students perceived degree college environment. Results suggested teachers and students did not differ much on their assessment of colleges and agreed (56%; disagreed: 23%) student support, libraries and safety were adequate in their educational environment.

The research design was quantitative in nature. The population of the study comprised of all university students of Islamabad. The simple random technique was used for the selection of the sample. The respondents were 80 students from those universities. Data were collected through a questionnaire and it has consisted of 56 items. Data were analyzed using statically mean, standard deviation and regression analysis of the impact of SSS on students’ development. The findings of study reveal that library services are adequate as compared to the availability of other support services and the results also reveal a strong relationship found among student support services and students’ development. It is recommended that the universities should make sure the availability of SSS.

The study was descriptive in nature and quantitative approach was applied for conducting this study. All the teachers, students and parents of Gujranwala Division in Punjab were the population of the study. Stratified random sampling technique was applied for the selection of sample. Three questionnaires were used in this study for the collection of data. Data were collected through personal visits of sampled schools. Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean and independent sample t-test. It was found that majority of students were enrolled in session 2019-20. Furthermore, majority of the students were enrolled in technical subjects on the demand of their parents and technical subjects have fame among the students. It is recommended that the government may arrange some kind of public awareness seminars at local level.
