Purpose This paper aims to share the activities of library services in the new-normal era. The pa... more Purpose This paper aims to share the activities of library services in the new-normal era. The paper describes libraries’ circumstances since their reopening in early June 2020. Furthermore, it provides details on how libraries have adopted several most appropriate practices changing physical to online services. Design/methodology/approach This paper describes various university library services in Indonesia in the new-normal era by using literature and documentary reviews as the approaches. The data were primarily collected from webpages, blogs, social media, newsletters and specific journals organized by university libraries. The survey was carried out by involving 126 university librarians incorporated in the University Libraries Forum. It highlighted the current conditions of university libraries and the most appropriate practices of library services in the new-normal era. Findings The most appropriate practices of university library services in the new-normal era are provided. ...

Perpustakaan merupakan prasarana pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat sentral ... more Perpustakaan merupakan prasarana pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat sentral peranannya. Sebagian besar pepustakaan sekolah/madrasah Muhammadiyah belum terakreditasi oleh Perpustakaan Nasional RI sehingga layanan yang diberikan juga belum memenuhi standar nasional. Permasalahan yang menjadikan sebagian besar sekolah/madrasah Muhammadiyah belum terakreditasi, yakni pada umumnya tata kelola standar perpustakaan yang belum dipahami. Tata kelola dalam penilaian akreditasi menjadi poin penting dan memiliki proporsi paling tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan. Hasil yang dicapai yakni mitra sepakat dengan program pelatihan dan pendampingan yang ditawarkan. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the level of obsolescence of the references used in the thesis of the Master study program of Hospital Management. Method: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a sample in the form of a student thesis Program Study of the Management at Muhammadiyah University Hospital Yogyakarta in 2017 totaling 48 pieces of theses. Findings: Data is displayed in a table with a description. Obtained the results of Md = 2009. Thus, the citation below the year 2009 with a total of 857 (43.5%) citation was declared obsolete, while the citation above the year 2009 with a total of 1112 (56.5%) was declared valid. Untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan ekonomi umat, majelis ekonomi Pengurus Cabang Aisyiyah (PCA) Moyudan mempunyai permasalahan, yaitu kurang adanya pengembangan produk unggulan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan saat melakukan kegiatan bazar atau pameran guna meningkatkan ekonomi umat. Several university libraries provide services to meet the information needs of the academic community. The library provides services by implementing a health protocol. Objective: To discuss the extent of the implementation of health protocols in the Muhammadiyah 'Aisyiyah College Library (PTMA). Research Methods: This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach using a semi-open questionnaire method. Respondents in this study consisted of 126 PTMA libraries from a total of 174 PTMA libraries throughout Indonesia. Results: Several protocols implemented in the PTMA Library include: implementing physical distancing, using masks, providing hand sanitizer, checking body temperature, limiting the number of users to the library, preparing hand washing stations, sterilizing booths, treatment of returned collections, and using gloves. . To value the cultural heritage and to care for it as a treasure bequeathed to us by our ancestors is the major responsibility of libraries. The past records constitute a natural resource and are indispensable to the present generation as well as to the generations to come. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh tesis Prodi MMR tahun 2017 yang berjumlah 48 buah. Data diperoleh dengan mencatat tahun terbit dari masing-masing sumber yang dirujuk kemudia mengurutkan tahun terbit tertua sampai tahun terbit termuda (terbaru). Kemudian menghitung jumlah paro hidup dengan menggunakan rumus. Data ditampilkan dalam table dengan deskripsi. . Diperoleh hasil Md = 2009. Maka, sitiran di bawah tahun 2009 dengan jumlah 857 (43,5%) sitiran dinyatakan usang, sedangkan sitiran di atas tahun 2009 dengan jumlah 1112 (56,5%) dinyatakan valid.

The paper describes libraries' circumstances since their reopening in early June 2020. Furthermore, it provides details on how libraries have adopted several most appropriate practices changing physical to online services. Design/methodology/approach-This paper describes various university library services in Indonesia in the new-normal era by using literature and documentary reviews as the approaches. The data were primarily collected from webpages, blogs, social media, newsletters and specific journals organized by university libraries. The survey was carried out by involving 126 university librarians incorporated in the University Libraries Forum. It highlighted the current conditions of university libraries and the most appropriate practices of library services in the new-normal era. Findings-The most appropriate practices of university library services in the new-normal era are provided. Libraries in Indonesia have experienced a service transformation implementing the COVID-19 health protocols. Likewise, almost all university library services became virtual. Accordingly, there were several challenges faced by librarians and users in carrying out virtual activities in the library. Originality/value-This paper provides a great value for libraries in responding to COVID-19 and those starting to reopen. It reveals the most appropriate library service practices and challenges in the new-normal era, which are useful for current and future insight development.
