Based on the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number P.68/Minister Environment and Forestry Secretary General/2016 concerning Domestic Wastewater Quality Standards, the government has set a maximum limit for waste water that can be disposed of to the environment or receiving water bodies. includes pH, TSS and COD parameters. This is useful for overcoming the problem of environmental pollution caused by wastewater. Waste water that is not managed properly will have an impact on human health. environmental pollution is harmful to humans. Domestic sewage treatment using a titanium dioxide photocatalyst shows the results of testing the pH value on domestic waste as shown below, showing that overall the concentration of parameters has increased the pH decrease 22,8% from acidic to normal best pH value with a value of 6.57 at a contact time of 210 minutes of mass catalyst 2.5 grams.

Parks are needed to maintain land availability, as water catchment areas, which can play a role in helping water absorption, so that the supply of water in the ground (water saving) increases and reduces the potential for flooding, by reducing the amount of water runoff. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with research from the Jambi City Statistics Center (BPS). the research was carried out in the Administrative Region of Jambi City The results of the analysis provision of public green space based on the area need for public green open space in Jambi City is 3,617.50 ha. The available public open space area is around 779.02 ha. Based on these results, there is a difference in the area of 2,838.48 ha, and the provision of public green open space based on population according to Minister of Public Works Regulation Number. 5 of 2008 the need for a park area in Jambi City is 1,243.70 ha. The available garden area is approximately 188,388.27 m 2 or 18.84 ha. Based on these results, there is a difference in area shortage of 1,224.86 ha. Jambi City over the past 13 years (2020-2033) Some strategies Increasing the area of public open space in fulfilling intrinsic and extrinsic functions, socializing the availability of green space functions for life and the environment and Spatial planning that is equal to 20% for public open space from the total area of the city. The area of green open space in Jambi City is only 779.02 ha and is very far from the area of Jambi City which is ± 20,538 ha.

Leachate from a landfill (TPA) contains organic substances in high concentrations by gravitationa... more Leachate from a landfill (TPA) contains organic substances in high concentrations by gravitational force, the leachate formed will move to the bottom of the landfill (TPA) and will enter the soil, by carrying contaminated material, and both suspended material and dissolved material that can pollute ground water. One of the leachate treatment processes is using Fenton reagent and adsorption. The effect of reagent Fenton molar ratio and stirring time on degradation of COD, BOD and TSS were also investigated. In this study leachate was processed for 30-120 minutes. the optimum conditions were achieved at a molar ratio of 1: 200, stirring time of 120 minutes, and adsorption using 120 minutes of activated carbon where the maximum decrease in COD, BOD and TSS achieved was 95%, 95% and 92% with a final concentration of 96 mg/L, 25.5 mg/ L and 90 mg/ L, which meet the environmental quality standard.

Air pollution comes from construction activities in the development of educational infrastructure... more Air pollution comes from construction activities in the development of educational infrastructure buildings because it has an impact on changes in green open space and an increase in air pollution, especially Carbon Monoxide (CO) emissions in the air. The contribution of increasing CO2 and CO emissions can be sourced from all activities of workers who use energy such as procurement of building materials, use of transportation fuels, electricity use activities, and LPG use activities. Carbon footprint is a measure of the total amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions that come from activities or accumulations from daily activities. This study aims to determine the amount of carbon Monoxide (CO) and CO2 emissions as indicators of air quality at the Miftahun Najah Islamic Boarding School. Measurement of Carbon Monoxide (CO) parameters was carried out for one week with 7 samplings in the morning and samplings in the afternoon in situ. Measurements using the Lutron GCO-2008 CO meter and carbon footprint calculations using the IPCC 2006 method. The measurement results were obtained in the afternoon with a total of 9,926 mg/Nm3 and the lowest in the morning was 1,102 mg/Nm3. Air temperature in the morning to evening ranged from 29oC-36oC. The results showed that the concentration of Carbon Monoxide in the development of Islamic boarding school buildings was still below the quality standards set according to Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021, namely10,000 μg / Nm3.

A Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) is a biological treatment method that uses a single tank with few-cycle phases. This study aims to determine the potential of a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) that can be used to treat landfill leachate. Methods: A Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) was used in this study. The characteristics of leachate served as the basis for the design of the SBR reactor. The synthetic leachate was used to create the reactor feed based on the actual landfill leachate compositions. The reactor's influent and effluent were analyzed based on a few parameter changes, such as Suspended Solid (SS), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), and Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN). This wood waste can be used as activated carbon (adsorbent) for leachate treatment. The research was divided into two stages, namely adsorbent production and leachate treatment. Production of activated carbon from bark (bark) was activated using a solution of NaOH and H2SO4 as an activator, with variations of bark (gr): activator (ml) = 20:100; 50:200; 70:300. The leachate adsorption process used activated carbon with a mass of 2.5 and 5 g for 30, 60 and 120 minutes. WTE is a new, renewable energy that uses waste to become biogas. Organic waste that is processed comes from market waste, 1000 kg of processed waste is carried out 3 times a week, namely on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The methane gas test was carried out five times. The first test the methane gas content was 68%, the second test decreased the methane gas content by 64%, the third test was 64%, on the fourth test the methane gas content increased by 69%, and at In the fifth test, there was a decrease in methane gas content by 66%.The highest methane gas content in IRRC-WTE Jambi City is at 69% carried out using a portable gas analyzer and the average analysis shows that at 66% the biogas content has met quality standards and is suitable for use Based on the results of the analysis, the application of WTE technology is expected to contribute greatly in solving the problem of municipal solid waste in Jambi, which can reduce dependency on the Talang Gulo Final Disposal Site, where the capacity and carrying capacity is reduced, and on the other hand electricity production is also obtained and biogas as the development of new and renewable energy in the framework of the success of sustainable development. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondis ikualitas udara ambien pada jaringan irigasi seling ulu dan untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis kajian dampak lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode survei dan Pengukuran Laboratorium Berstandar KAN. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kondisi pada jaringan irigas iseling ulu menunjukkan kualitas udara ambien dan tingkat kebisingan di irigasi seling ulu dan sekitarnya masih baik, mengingat parameter-parameter yang terukur masih memenuhi baku mutu lingkungan (BML) sesuai dengan PeraturanPemerintah No. 41 Tahun 1999 untuk SO2, NO2, TSP, CO, dan O3 tentang Pengendalian Pencemaran Udara, Keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No. 50 Tahun 1996 untuk H2S dan NH3 tentang Baku Tingkat Kebauan, dan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No. 48 Tahun 1996 tentang Baku Tingkat Kebisingan.

Talang Gulo Landfill has made efforts to independently process biogas or methane gas from the Landfill area. The biogas has been used to fuel household cooking needs in the settlements around the Landfill and for its own electricity needs at the Talang Gulo Landfill. Test the methane gas.done five times. The first test reduced the methane gas content by 72%, the second test reduced the methane gas content by 74%, the third test reduced the methane gas content by 86%.77%, in the fourth test the methane gas content increased by 69%, and in the fifth test, the methane gas content decreased by 66%.The highest level of methane gas in the IRRC-WTE Jambi City was 76% carried out using the Bosean portable gas analyzer and the average analysis results showed that at 86% the biogas content has met quality standards and is suitable for use. WTE is a new, renewable energy that uses waste to become biogas. The first test the methane gas content was 68%, the second test decreased the methane gas content by 64%, the third test was 64%, on the fourth test the methane gas content increased by 69%, and at In the fifth test, there was a decrease in methane gas content by 66%.The highest methane gas content in IRRC-WTE Jambi City is at 69% carried out using a portable gas analyzer and the average analysis shows that at 66% the biogas content has met quality standards and is suitable for use Based on the results of the analysis, the application of WTE technology is expected to contribute greatly in solving the problem of municipal solid waste in Jambi, which can reduce dependency on the Talang Gulo Final Disposal Site, where the capacity and carrying capacity is reduced, and on the other hand electricity production is also obtained and biogas as the development of new and renewable energy in the framework of the success of sustainable development. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondis ikualitas udara ambien pada jaringan irigasi seling ulu dan untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis kajian dampak lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode survei dan Pengukuran Laboratorium Berstandar KAN. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kondisi pada jaringan irigas iseling ulu menunjukkan kualitas udara ambien dan tingkat kebisingan di irigasi seling ulu dan sekitarnya masih baik, mengingat parameter-parameter yang terukur masih memenuhi baku mutu lingkungan (BML) sesuai dengan PeraturanPemerintah No. 41 Tahun 1999 untuk SO2, NO2, TSP, CO, dan O3 tentang Pengendalian Pencemaran Udara, Keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No. 50 Tahun 1996 untuk H2S dan NH3 tentang Baku Tingkat Kebauan, dan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No. 48 Tahun 1996 tentang Baku Tingkat Kebisingan.

Leachate from a landfill (TPA) contains organic substances in high concentrations by gravitationa... more Leachate from a landfill (TPA) contains organic substances in high concentrations by gravitational force, the leachate formed will move to the bottom of the landfill (TPA) and will enter the soil, by carrying contaminated material, and both suspended material and dissolved material that can pollute ground water. One of the leachate treatment processes is using Fenton reagent and adsorption. The effect of reagent Fenton molar ratio and stirring time on degradation of COD, BOD and TSS were also investigated. In this study leachate was processed for 30-120 minutes. the optimum conditions were achieved at a molar ratio of 1: 200, stirring time of 120 minutes, and adsorption using 120 minutes of activated carbon where the maximum decrease in COD, BOD and TSS achieved was 95%, 95% and 92% with a final concentration of 96 mg/L, 25.5 mg/ L and 90 mg/ L, which meet the environmental quality standard.
