The modeling approach is to handle the engine as a multi input multi output nonlinear black box model, where the inputs are the throttle angle and the spark timing and the outp'uts are the speed and manifold pressure. The input output data was collected from an experimental four cylinder spark ignition engine, then this data is fitted to a NARMAX model using a radial basis function network trained by the orthogonal least squares algorithm. After that the developed model is validated using nonlinear correlation tests and it could efficiently reproduce the plant dynamics. Tlie control teclmique used is the fuzzy control. The fuzzy controller is formulated as a radial basis function network trained by the orthogqnalleast squares algorithm to estimate the controller parameters. The train~ng data of the network is the entries of an optimal control table derived by ...

A spatial econometric model shows that different socio-economic factors appear particularly explain the literacy rates of the Tunisian districts and more pronounced for women : the level of urbanization, the unemployment rate, the size household, the housing quality, the enrollment rate for youth aged from 6 to 14 years and the awning a television as awareness tools. While the male literacy rate is higher than that of women for the all population in 2004, parity in youth is almost reached if we use the enrollment rate in primary, secondary and higher schools.

With the ever-increasing number of patients undergoing surgical treatment for obesity, a growing number of patients are presenting for brachioplasty after massive weight loss. Many techniques have been described to correct upper arm laxity in massive weight loss patients. The aim of this prospective study was to compare the L shaped and T shaped brachioplasty as regard complication rates and patient’s satisfaction. The study conducted on 2 groups, each group of 30 patients with post bariatric massive weight loss and arm laxity, one group underwent T- brachioplasty and the others group underwent L-brachioplasty, and the results were analyzed. The results showed that The T-brachioplasty has less incidence rates of seroma, wound dehiscence ad hypertrophic scar; L-brachioplasty has less incidence rate of infection, scar contract...

Rhinoplasty in cleft lip nasal deformities could be performed either primary or secondary after repair of the cleft lip. Primary correction has been reappraised in the last two decades having particular advantages as more symmetrical nose and better appearance in the early life. Even when rhinoplaty is re-required after nasal growth is complete, the deformity is less severe and more amenable final results [3].

The purpose of this paper is to study empirically the evolution of the disparities between more than 360 Maghreb regions considering spatial dependence and to explore a non-parametric approach for characterizing convergence of GDP per capita. This study utilizes growth theory as the theoretical foundation to explore the convergence hypothesis. The methodology consists of identifying the shape of the long-run spatial associations through the use of Markov chains which make it possible to derive a unique stationary distribution related to the transition matrix. The results of the analysis indicate the persistence of regional disparities and the importance of geography to explain the global convergence process with positive spatial spillover effects. The proportion of high-income regions surrounded by similar regions has significantly increased detri...

A spatial analysis is implemented in order to take into account the spatial interactions of GDP per capita in these areas. Moreover, a betaconvergence equation (absolute and conditional) is estimated with spatially correlated errors and spatial lag models. The conditional model also includes original climate variables (temperature and precipitations) at the same geographical level. Results show that the hypothesis of regional convergence is generally accepted in most MENA countries, with the exception of Egypt and Morocco. However, the convergence process is slow and climate change in MENA countries is likely to further slowdown this process.
