Then the premise he was even in a doctor is questioned. However, the whole paper continues to follow the symbolism St. Luke indubitably has not only as one of the Evangelists, but parallelly as a physician, so it then questions what such an expertise would mean when one of the establishing figures is attached to a particular profession. Medical effort is then connected to the notion of Christus medicus as a primary healer. From that point on, a question of the miraculous healing and its effect on human approach to God emerges. This problem occurs when freedom as a central to the acceptance of God's deeds is installed. In this case, I discuss it on the grounds of a passage from The Grand Inquisitor. Finally, the problem of freedom in the multifaceted context of healing is to be circled in the discussion about the problematic positions both doctors and patients encounter, and ultimately medicine itself.

The paper represents examination of how we conceptualise time through the ancient notion of skholḗ.
This leads to a twofold inquiry: one concerning the status of critical thinking, and the other concerning
the gap produced by the tendency towards the activity per se and experimentally founded knowledge,
primarily characteristic of the natural and techical sciences, as opposed to the humanistic ones. With
this, the domain of humanistic education significance opens, and primarily so through Giambattista
Vico’s view of it. The conclusion itself concerns a summary of all instances that stemmed from skholḗ
as having time for. What follows from that is a closer explanation of the general humanistic idea as the
main frame for the global deliberation of all individual and collective questions of substantial value.

Key words: skholḗ, time, critical thinking, humanistic education, Vico.

This time, my aim is to posit meeting and parting points of their views in the light of movement as a key underlying component that constitutes not only a visual metaphor, but depicts a broader pace which mirrors many aspects of their general philosophies. Therefore, I will discuss relevant medical, biological and ontological aspects of their theories while in those versatile domains reflecting back on most of the relevant points from their corpuses as well as the parallel kinetic aspects which are semi-tacitly in the formative background. Also, according to the context, I will focus either on Plato or Aristotle more, comparing the other one when needed. At the end of the paper, I will introduce some common points for the ancient period at hand, focusing on some mytho-biological beliefs and stands actual at the time, hoping to provide a broader frame of reference for the main examined question.

experience of the saints in both Orthodox and Catholic tradition. It is an inextricable part
signifying divine intervention, most frequently having the saints as its medium. The main focus
is on the miracles of healing, which are at the same time possibly the most famous and
common miracles witnessed. Also a recurring motive is a dream which professes a future,
sometimes sudden and unexpected turn of events.

Firstly, in the aspect of body and soul, followed by the relationship of micro and macro cosmos. Between these opposing tendencies, said in Heideggerian way, lies the authentic existence brought through the anticipation of death via existential anxiety, trembling, nausea and hope. When it comes to Christianity, these paradoxical states of existence separated by the difference in the essences of God and man, transcendent and transcendental, seem to have the possibility of being resolved through the pairs of terms: simultaneity/ striving, inclination/ disinclination, intellectual/ mystical, since they are already synthetized in God and human constitutional potency. In the light of these quasi paradoxes, we will also try to demonstrate how evil cannot disprove God’s Omnibenevolence and to display a potential comparative analysis in the Christianity itself, as well as those concerning Christian and Existentialists’ teachings.

Following in the footsteps of Plato's "Apology" and Aytmatov's "The Scaffold", we strive to investigate the motives that shape our lives in a way which leaves a literally eternal mark, echoing for centuries, therefore pertaining to a valuable, life-defining discussion. Shedding light on the key points and characters from the aforementioned works, I would like to put forward a philosophical and literary analysis, thus giving a new mark of this synthesis of two perspectives, approaching them from the classical value of their symbolism.

Taking as a reference eminent philosophers and theologians who cultivated the spirit of apophatic (negative) theology, then its transformation into the rationalism-based proofs for the existence of God, which occurred by the end of the Middle Ages and in the beginning of New Ages, we notice that a final and definite termination with this line of thinking happened with Nietzsche. Therefore, we will strive to demonstrate what the nihilism of thinking actually means in the practice of our everyday lives.
