The chronological classification was based on typological parallels as well as the radiocarbon dating of a bovine tooth which was recovered from a posthole (2132–1940 cal BC 2 σ).
It is a basically two-aisled house facing West-southwest-East-northeast with an entrance in the southern external wall. The extremities of the narrow sides of the building are
not preserved. The longhouse is approx. 23 m long and 5.5 m wide, consistent with the usual dimensions of Únětice buildings of the Březno type after M. Schefzik (2010). Comparable longhouses of the Early Bronze Age are known from the entire central area of Únětice Culture in central Germany, Bohemia and Moravia.

bone tools with handgrip and holes has being published
sporadically and often incomplete. These pieces
appear in northern, central and east Europe, even Siberia,
in archaeological contexts from the Neolithic to the
Middle Ages. Their typology is reduced to three or four
groups –depending on the autor you quote– according to
their shape, regardless chronology, archaeological context
and, especially, manufacture and use wear. In order to produce
these tools, the cattle scapula was mainly used, followed
by rib and big mammals mandible.
The synthese works of this type of tools published by
now lack of microscopic analysis. Such analysis to clarify
the functionality of these tools have been very few. Their
shape and archaeological context, sometimes non-existent,
ist all that has served to hypothesize about their functionality.
In this regard, various proposals have been considered, from butcher knives to tool for a potter, textil work
tool or simply a tool, which has different uses at once.
The present work intends to clarify these tools. A review
of the existing typology is proposed, since it combines
different elements that can not be put in relation.

It is a two-aisle house facing WSW-ENE with an entrance in the southern external wall. The narrow endings of the building are not preserved. Compared to other buildings of the Early Bronze Age which were discovered in Saxony-Anhalt, it is a relatively small house with a length of approx. 23 m and a width of 5,5 m. Only during the last few years, and due to the big amount of public works carried out in Sachsen-Anhalt (ICE, A71, A38, A14, B6n...), several hut floors have been excavated and gradually helped to get to know better these cultures. Hence the framework for introducing our work. We introduce here 13 hut floors from the Saalemündungsgruppe and the Hausurnenkultur that are dated between the Late Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age. They were excavated during the 2010 summer only a few hundred meters away from the little town of Kleinpaschleben, as a result of the construction of the national road B6n conducted by the Landesamt für Denkmalpflege und Archäologie Sachsen-Anhalt. A comparative study of these hut floors with others from near-by regions suggest a widespread typology for this period, since sites from southern (Bavaria), western (Hessen) and northern (Brandenburg) Germany show a similar pattern. This supports Central Germany as a crossroad of influences not only coming from far away regions like the Alps, Scandinavia, the Russian Steppe and the Atlantic as previously thought, but also from near-by Bronze and Iron Age groups. In order to get a better understanding of the Saalemündungsgruppe and the Hausurnenkultur and their connections with surrounding populations, a study of fragments of pottery, charcoal, clay and animal bones found inside the post holes are currently on-going, as well as phosphate analysis from the hut floors themselves.
