This paper examines the key factors shaping this transition, including energy efficiency, the adoption of renewable energy, and technological innovation. International policy frameworks, notably the Paris Agreement, and national commitments play a critical role in this transformation. International organizations, such as the European Union and the Green Climate Fund, are instrumental in providing support and fostering collaboration among nations. However, challenges such as economic costs, regulatory complexity, political resistance, and the equitable distribution of resources persist. The paper also highlights successful policy examples, such as Sweden's pulp and paper industry and the Netherlands' legal mandate to reduce emissions. The future of energy transition hinges on continued innovation, robust international cooperation, and overcoming the barriers to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Global synergies and local initiatives, especially in developing countries, will be crucial to making this transition inclusive and sustainable.

This paper explores TikTok’s evolution from a video-sharing app to a significant tool for political activism and discourse, emphasizing its unique features like the For You algorithm, Duet, and Stitch functions. These technological affordances have enabled users to create and disseminate political content, fostering grassroots movements and mobilizing young voters. However, the platform also presents risks, such as the amplification of misinformation and the formation of echo chambers that reinforce political polarization. TikTok’s Chinese ownership by ByteDance further complicates its role in global political discourse, raising concerns about data privacy and national security, especially in the context of U.S.-China relations. The paper examines the platform’s impact on political campaigns, activism, and ideological shifts among younger demographics, highlighting both opportunities and challenges. Ultimately, TikTok's influence on political communication underscores the need for regulatory frameworks to address the evolving digital landscape while promoting responsible political engagement.
