A number of social, political and anthropological arguments are presented in order to establish the factors that contributed to the massive spread of the spiritist phenomenon in Europe and America. In the United States, England and France spiritism was in 19th century a movement of great relevance in terms of religious authority. Many scholars who study spiritism as a social movement describe its roots in the " crisis of faith " triggered by developments in science and medicine in this period. Some of the works of the most important historians addressing the spiritist phenomenon and its historical and social meaning in the 19th century are discussed, comparing and contrasting their insights into the movement's causes and consequences.

The horrors committed by the communist regime not only to women, but also to men, the repressive and criminal nature of the regime has built a shaky ground on which democracy is trying to take roots since 1989.
Still, every time the wind is blowing, you cannot stop wondering if everything will be blown up again.

National identities are a safety belt that can save us and that can prove so efficient in the process of not losing our uniqueness and originality. Although adjustment to the changing world is a must and is highly recommended, keeping our national and personal conscience becomes a matter of urgency. We can enjoy being all the same only when we are different. It is not about what the world can do for us, but what we can do for the world. And the best thing we can do is to stay ourselves.

Post-conflict stability is one of the clearest indicators of a successful humanitarian intervention and should be so in order for the new government itself not representing yet the next case for humanitarian intervention. Foreign interventions should only draw and build some paths to be followed, whose consolidation and operationalization is entrusted to the local government: the causes of national problems are first and foremost national and should be dealt with by national actors.

In fact, all our present lives revolve around information that are receiving via television, newspapers, social media, internet, radio and so on. Without noticing, we are the receptors of messages and information that we may not even need or agree with, but which are unconsciously sticking to our brains and then processed in such a way that we become avid consumers of any kind of product promoted by media means.
