This booklet gained a certain significance since it was recently proposed that one of the two dedicatees could be Niccolò di Bernardo Machiavelli.

Il presente contributo offre la tavola completa delle rime dell’umanista fiorentino e l’edizione commentata di sei sonetti fino ad oggi inediti, tramandati dal cod. XIII D 44 della Biblioteca Nazionale « Vittorio Emanuele III » di Napoli.
Bartolomeo Fonzio wrote more than forty lyrics in the vernacular, some of which he gathered in his unfinished Poema vulgare. This essay provides a complete list of such poems by the Florentine humanist as well as the edition (with explanatory notes) of six hitherto unpublished sonnets that have been preserved in MS XIII D 44 at the Biblioteca Nazionale « Vittorio Emanuele III » of Naples.
Among the volumes preserved at the Biblioteca Arcivescovile «Pietro Maffi » in Pisa is a copy of ... more Among the volumes preserved at the Biblioteca Arcivescovile «Pietro Maffi » in Pisa is a copy of the editio princeps of the Commentarii in Iuvenalis Satyras by Giorgio Valla (Venice 1486) bound with an edition of Persius’ Satires and the related commentary by Bartolomeo Fonzio (Venice 1482). In the margins of these two incunabula are many notes in Francesco Pandolfini’s hand alternating with some rare autographic annotations by Fonzio, his teacher.
