It has proved to be a way to solve many problems of paper works that can be converted to a computer-based works. One major way to manage spatial data is the Geographic Information
System (GIS). An easy way to have access to an area is to digitally represent it; the GIS have played a major role in converting paper map work into a computer-based one. GIS is a system that uses spatial (geographically referenced) and non-spatial (attribute) data and includes operations that support spatial analysis; it is a spatial data management or handling system. The purpose of this paper is to develop a usable geo-database to store geographical information of an area. A geo-database data model was developed using Entity Relationship Approach (E-R) for the system development and physically realized utilizing Java programming language, MYSQL and POSTGIS. The data model was then tested against an existing traditional map to determine whether or not the geo-database model was functional. The results were
encouraging as the data model was able to handle the majority of data types and their accompanying representation. The paper will aid in locating the facilities on campus, as well as help management make more informed decisions on the available resources. Future work can
be done on web-based system for easier accessibilities and very pontificate GIS software can be used to design the geo-database system for spatial map for a more secure system.

Research tends to show that perpetrators of this act are foreigners who enter the country without any document and are employed as security officers, thereby posing security treats to lives and properties. These foreigners device a means of beating security devices put in place at the border. The Nigerian Immigration uses Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) which is minutiae-based and less noise tolerant unlike the correlation-based approach. This paper therefore proposes a novel fingerprinting method that can help identify identity fraud. The method combines two approaches, namely minutiae and correlation approaches. The two approaches use extraction and matching to get good and reliable images. The idea is to see how the shortcomings of one are complemented by the other. Each of the approaches computes the matching score, and the mean of the two resulting scores is taken. The mean is compared with the established threshold such that the system provides response by indicating whether the verification is successful or not. It follows that the adoption of this new method by organizations like the Nigerian Immigration Service will drastically reduce, if not totally eradicate, the level of insecurity in the country

people. There is shortage of medical expertise in various hospitals, most of these countries are spending affluence of their
resources to meet this challenge but still they are unable to meet the demands of providing good medical services for their people.
It has become of great concern to find a lasting solution to the problem of traditional method of medical diagnostic which is
characterized by inaccuracy and imprecision. Many researchers have developed several algorithms and technologies (including
Fuzzy Logic, Genetic Algorithms and even Artificial Neural Network) to ensure accuracy and precision in the field of medicine
which are branches of Artificial Intelligence. This paper covers the development of a medical diagnostic system using fuzzy
logic; so as to enhance the accuracy and precision of medical diagnosis. The proposed medical diagnostic system was developed
using Visual Prolog Programming language. The proposed system proffers solution to the enormous responsibilities of the
diagnostic process carried out by medical personnel using fuzzy logic. More advance medical diagnosis system can be designed
to help in the area like drugs prescription, registering of patients as well as keeping of patients’ details and records in the medical
sector.

ATM fraud has been very common in all banks and the problems has created fear in many costumers heart that they prefer going to the bank to collect their money than to use an ATM, also many people are illiterate that they don’t know how to use the ATM card. So, the main aim of introducing ATM machine has not been met because you still find long queues in almost all banks in Nigeria. The existing ATM machine uses PIN-Card as a security which is very weak and easy to contravene. This paper tries to find a solution to the above problems by introducing fingerprint authentication into the existing ATM machine. A program prototype was designed to imitate a typical ATM system that uses fingerprint identification to enhance the security of the ATMs. The proposed system demonstrated a three-tier architectural structure. The verification system which centered on the enrolment, enhancement, feature extraction and matching of fingerprints. The backend database system that serves as warehouse of the templates of all ATM account holders’ pre-registered fingerprints. The system’s platform creates related transactions such as withdrawals, bill payment, buying of credit cards and balance enquiries etc. The results obtained confirm that the current approach could significantly reduce ATM fraud if not totally eradicate it.

One major problem in the world of the cashless economy is internet related fraud. Nigeria is at the center of electronic related fraud and this can only be expected to increase as we march into the cashless economy. Another major problems people face is the loss of the password and not remembering it again, these have cause a lot of damage to many people and organizations. In order to fight or reduce the aforementioned problem a secure automated teller machine using fingerprint and short-code system is proposed. The existing ATM machine uses PIN-Card as a security measure which is very weak and easy to guess or break. This paper tries to find a solution to the above problems by introducing fingerprint authentication and a short-code system into the existing ATM machine. The proposed system demonstrated a three-tier architectural structure, the verification system which centered on the enrolment, enhancement, feature extraction and matching of fingerprints after which a short-code will be send to the holders phone number. The backend database system that serves as storeroom of the templates of all ATM account holders' pre-registered fingerprints. The results obtained confirm that the current approach could significantly reduce ATM fraud if not totally eradicate it.
