A factor analysis was carried out with reliability test to determine whether the measurements had construct validity and reliability. In this regard, the instrument were administered to 100 undergraduate students in Sirte University. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted for all items measuring the constructs which include Community factor (interacting with peers, interacting with lecturer and engaging with students), face book intensity (emotional connection, face book friends, time use on facebook); Individual differences; academic performance and social capital. The principal component analysis (PCA) was used to perform exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to find uncorrelated linear combinations of observed variables. The result of the analysis confirmed that Community factor has three dimension: interacting with peers, interacting with lecturer and engaging with students; face book intensity also has three dimension; emotional connection, face book friends, time use on face book. The loadings of all the retained items are above the threshold value and the Cronbach alpha of all the constructs are also above .8 which shows that the instrument is valid and reliable and thus, can be adopted by future researcher.

An adapted questionnaire comprising 77 items was administered to faculty members in two public universities in Nigeria. The data gathered were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis with SPSS 20.0 and SmartPLS 3.1.2 respectively. The findings of this study shows that process management is a third order reflective model with multidimensional constructs. The two dimension of process management: administrative process and academic process has four and five dimensions respectively. The process management scale will therefore facilitate the identifications of elements that influence the effectiveness of higher education. The practical implications and methodological limitations are discussed.

training for the benefit of learners and the
community. However, the role of university
education in stimulating national economic growth and transformation exacerbates the need
to ensure quality within the universities system
. The quality and focus of the training offered
by the Nigerian universities are not in tune wi
th the needs of society which leads to high
unemployment. Soludo (2012) stresses that the
problem of unemployment in Nigeria is not
because there are no jobs but because there ar

study examines the influence of f

s in Kwara State were selected for this
study. A total of 100 graduates of educa
tion teaching in secondary schools and 100
management members including heads of departme

selected for the study. The findings of the
study show that the curriculum has a great
influence on the quality of teachers produced in

qualified students into the university system has become a great concern for parents and the governments.
The introduction of mobile learning will be a welcome development to reduce poor student access to the
university. However, there are issues and challenges that are likely to create a barrier toward a successful
implementation of mobile learning in universities in Nigeria. This paper therefore explains the concept of
mobile teaching and learning, features and benefits of mobile learning in the university system as well as
the issues and challenges toward a successful implementation of mobile teaching and learning in
universities in Nigeria. Some recommendations were suggested on how such issues and challenges can
be addressed which include the training of both the students and the academic staffs on the benefits of
some of the networking like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., to enhance teaching and learning in higher
education.

In order to overcome this menace, this position paper examines the nature and concept of entrepreneurship education and its application for graduates of Nigerian universities. The specific impact of entrepreneurship education on the society for national transformation among which are the provision of employment opportunities, increase in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), improved standard of living as well as under-dependency on white collar job by the universities' graduates are discussed. The paper comes up with a model of how public and private partnership can be enhanced through entrepreneurship education in Nigerian universities towards national transformation. The challenges of entrepreneurship education which include inadequate trainers or little knowledge of entrepreneurship by the universities' lecturers, inadequate fund for the program by the universities administrators as well as challenges in the area of curriculum development and implementation were also pointed out and recommendations were made on how such challenges can be overcome towards the practical realisation of entrepreneurship education in our higher institutions.

This is to find solutions to the problems of quality management in relation to negative effect of academic performance of students in senior secondary schools. The study examined the principles and component of total quality management as it is applicable to educational settings. The researchers adopted a descriptive survey design. Both stratified and simple sampling techniques were used to select fifteen out of twenty-five public secondary schools and 120 respondents respectively. An instrument titled Total Quality Management Questionnaire (TQMQ) and Student Academic Performance Checklist (SAPC) were used to collect relevant data. Seven research questions were raised and seven hypotheses were formulated including one main hypothesis to guide the study. Both simple percentage and Pearson product moment correlation statistics were used to analyze the data at 0.05 levels of significance. The findings revealed that there is no universal standard of achievement for all students before permitting them to move to the next class; there is effective communication in the schools; principal and staff are not re-trained on new methods of school-based management and there is significant relationship between total quality management and student academic performance in Ilorin metropolis secondary schools. Based on the findings, some recommendations were made which include; the state ministry of education should set a minimum and universal standard of achievement for all secondary school in the state and there is need to regularly organize re-training programs on new methods of school based management for the principals and staff in Kwara State secondary schools.

This is paper investigated the influence of student personnel services on students ' behaviours in University of llorin, Ilorin. The research design for this study was a descriptive survey. Twenty HODs and 400 students were selected as respondents through purposive sampling technique. Two Researcher-designed instruments titled: "Student Personnel Services Questionnaire" (SPSQ) and "Students' Behaviours Questionnaire" (SBQ) were used to obtain relevant data. The instruments were validated by five experts in the areas of Educational Management and Educational Measurement and Evaluation. Three research questions and one hypothesis were used in the conduct of the study. The research questions raised were answered using frequency counts, parentage and ranking. Pearson product-moment correlation statistic was used to test the hypothesis formulated at .05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that there was a significant relationship between student personnel services and students' behaviours (calculated r-value=.79 > critical r-value .095, p<.05, df=418). Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended, among others, that the school clinic should be well equipped with adequate medical practitioners and necessary hospital amenities in order to take care of sick students.

This explains why communication is inevitable and indispensable in the school system for effective management. This paper examined how communication aids managers of secondary schools in carrying out their duties effectively. Meaning and avenues of communication as well as communication flow were discussed. Road blocks to communication and active listening as a means of promoting a closer, more meaningful relationship between the staff and students towards school improvement were considered. It was concluded that communication is an important ingredient and vital instrument in any given organization and a good school principal should bear in mind that the success of the school is determined by his effective management of the school. It was also recommended, among others, that the channel of communication needs to be modern, effective and as personal as possible if management of large organizations such as the school is to maintain close ties with teachers and encourage maximum performance.
