The intent of this article is to analyze the first speech of Prime Minister Mario Draghi during t... more The intent of this article is to analyze the first speech of Prime Minister Mario Draghi during the motion of confidence request in the Italian Senate on February 17, 2021. This analysis intends to use the methodological tools present in the Principles of Cooperation (Grice, 1975), the speech acts categories (Searle, 1965), the politeness linguistic of Brown and Levinson (1987) with the addition of Schartz's concept of "collective face" (1992) and intercultural communication (Hofstede, 2011). The originality of this work consists in the use of a method of analysis usually used in a "sociologicalstatistical" key into a purely linguistic corpus such as political discourse in order to bring out some elements of correlation between speech acts and cultural dimensions. This article seeks to offer a useful interpretative tool to describe some speech acts formulated by Prime Minister Draghi with a "representative" value but with the intention of being instead of "directive" and "declarative" speech acts. This illocuctive force passage requested by Draghi could only be possible with the presence of a broad adhesion on the part of Italian politics to a cultural dimension of a "collectivism" due to the very delicate historical moment with the Covid-19 health crisis.

Resumen El presente artículo analiza la función de la mitigación para indicar el desacuerdo que M... more Resumen El presente artículo analiza la función de la mitigación para indicar el desacuerdo que Massimo D'Alema efectuó durante una interacción en el programa de televisión Era Glaciale conducido por Daria Bignardi. El artículo está compuesto de una primera parte que se basa en la comprensión del desacuerdo como respuesta indeseable y de la mitigación como indicador de la propia función y de la adhesión a un estilo de conversación del tipo «anglosajón» para expresar desacuerdo. El análisis, basado en los principios socio-pragmáticos de Spencer-Oatey y el modelo de la cortesía lingüística de Brown y Levinson, desde una perspectiva etnográfica con el trabajo de Duranti, pone en evidencia el escepticismo, las correcciones como indicadores del propio rol social.

Com esse estudo, intencionamos um meio de como desenvolver uma gramática a partir da perspectiva das dimensões culturais que considera a ampliação da língua italiana como algo capaz de separar claramente uma realidade social onde o masculino e o feminino estão separados por concepções plurais que atingem também objetos e pessoas. ABSTRACT: La vastità della grammatica italiana e dei fenomeni grammaticali legati ad alcune motivazioni culturali portano questo lavoro in un nuovo campo. Con questo studio, intendiamo un modo di sviluppare una grammatica dal punto di vista delle dimensioni culturali che considera la lingua italiana come qualcosa in grado di separare chiaramente una realtà sociale in cui il maschile e il femminile sono separati da concezioni plurali che raggiungono anche gli oggetti e le persone. Le fondamenta della comunicazione interculturale vengono riprese brevemente per ricollocare la discussione intorno al tema dell' " intercultura ". Il concetto di intercultura appare essere trattato in modo operativo nel contesto tedesco con la finalità di mitigare i potenziali conflitti sociali e professionali. Nel contesto francese, la comunicazione interculturale risulta un tema teorico presente in termini di dichiarazione d'intento ma assente in modo effettivo nel quadro di vita sociale complessivo.

This study describes an analysis of the speech act of disagreement, in a sociopragmatics perspective, with the aim of establishing the cultural differences between Italian-speaking and French-speakers. I choose the disagreement as a prominent feature because it allows to analyze the linguistic politeness inside of a corpus of Italian and French television interviews.
The research is composed of a first part focuses on the exploration of various methodological models useful for the investigation of the linguistic phenomenon of disagreement, while the second part of the thesis concerns the analysis of the disagreement reported in the elected corpus. The analysis, conducted in accordance with the principles of sociopragmatics of Spencer-Oatey and Jiang, using the model of linguistic politeness by Brown and Levinson, with the grafts of Kebrat-Orecchioni, within an approach with the work of etnopragmatics (Duranti), highlights some differences in the realization of French and Italian speakers disagreement between speakers. These differences are attributable, according to the perspective adopted in this research, a different ethos in the two communities of speakers.
The ethos of the French would allow construction of more severe or aggravated disagreement is used as the linguistic structures that are not perceived as detrimental to the positive face of the speaker, in contrast Italian speakers in the production of the disagreement is almost always a threat to face upward, especially for their skills and \ or psychological identity. These results seem to adhere to a notion of ethos based on consideration and non-consideration by the Italian speakers, in which the linguistic politeness move from respect or no-respect for the interpersonal relationship with the approval or denial of interpersonal reality of the speaker. Instead, the ethos of the French seem to want to show a tendency to candor and to "engagement" through the emotional involvement of the speaker during the verbal exchange showing a greater willingness in terms of interactional rights between speakers.

L’originalité de ce travail consiste en l’utilisation d’un manuel de langue italienne comme point de départ pour analyser les thèmes culturels récurrents dans l’étude de la langue italienne. En conclusion, grâce à ses premiers résultats interprétatifs, cet article devrait offrir un bon outil d’interprétation pour décrire les comportements très diffusés dans la réalité culturelle.

In questo articolo s'intende analizzare le dimensioni culturali presenti nel discorso di Renzi in riferimento alle riforme politiche, in modo particolare le riforme della scuola. Lo scopo comunicativo di Renzi sembra quello di ricercare costantemente il riconoscimento\consenso per se stesso e il governo anche con il rischio di infrangere il bisogno di autonomia del proprio elettorato.La comunicazione di Renzi s'inscrive in una scelta comunicativa dove il grado di imposizione resta molto elevato perché la distanza sociale tra il potere e i cittadini si è instaurato negli ultimi anni.

This article would like analyze the cultural dimensions in speech discourse of Matteo Renzi in reference to political reforms, particularly in schooling reforms. The communicative purpose of Renzi seems to constantly research un strong sense of acknowledgment for himself and for the Government even at the risk of breaking the need for autonomy of its electorate. Renzi communication takes place in a choice of communication where the degree of imposition remains very high because the social distance between power and citizens has been established in recent years.

In these selected passages from the book "Cuore" of Edmondo De Amicis there was a clear pedagogical desire on the part of the author to highlight the cultural dimensions suitable to found into the emerging unity of the Italian State. De Amicis proposes a model where the classroom becomes a family where the father must love and forgive the behavior not always kind and educated of young children. The book leads to a reduction in term of social distance from the power trying to understand the hierarchy as an inequality of roles and not just a existential inequality. We also find a strong need for "collectivism" in the book by the need to emphasize the belonging to the same flag, and then the same community of values under the need ​​of patriotic idea. Takes to the new Italian State need a "we conscience" and I strong need to try to maintain harmony among the various social groups. This article seeks to offer a useful interpretative tool to describe some speech acts formulated by Prime Minister Draghi with a "representative" value but with the intention of being instead of "directive" and "declarative" speech acts. This illocuctive force passage requested by Draghi could only be possible with the presence of a broad adhesion on the part of Italian politics to a cultural dimension of a "collectivism" due to the very delicate historical moment with the Covid-19 health crisis.
