It will also aim to trace the intellectual genealogy and conceptual premises of their cultural and communicative vision.
This analysis will attempt to define four ideal types based on reference figures taken from mythology and religion as well as the imaginary of contemporary popular culture: Prometheus, Moses, Hermes Trismegistus and Iron Man.

It also intends to reconstruct some periods and passages of the cultural debate at the crossroads between social sciences and legal doctrine that took place in the France of the Third Republic. This essay focuses on some categories and concepts derived from the newborn Durkheimian sociology, used by Duguit to re-found the theory of administrative and constitutional law. In particular, we examine here the notions of trade unionism, professional intermediary bodies and social interdependence, and their function for the redefinition of a modern legal theory according to Duguit

The crisis of the foundations of knowledge and the Enlightment legacy coincided with the destabilization of the Law theory and the Jacobin idea of the State. Léon Duguit was, in that context, one of the main actors of the change of paradigm in Law philosophy, tring to hybridize State theory with rising social sciences. The article is intended to highlight the hybridization between social theory and legal doctrine in French Troisième République, and the role of Durkheimian sociology in that process of intellectual contamination. In particular, the article illustrates the sociological positivism of Léon Duguit, in relationship with Durkheim's social thought and opus, and his revolutionary approach to rethinking of State model, sovereignty, "socialism" and individual in modern Law theory according the category of social solidarity and social interdependence. The article also delves into Duguit's functionalist reflection on the groupement professionels and the mouvement social of intermediate bodies as orderly responses to the problems of the emerging industrial and labour society. An elaboration precisely comparable, in some respects, to that of a «positivist sociologist».

Usages and abuses of the Cervantes' knight-errant along Twentieth and postmodern imaginery. The legacy of Cervantes' masterpiece has been very influential on literary and narratological imaginary. And the Miguel de Cervantes' fictional character has disseminated elements of criticism over time with respect to several of the mechanistic dichotomies of the genesis of modernity. During Nineteenth and Twentieth century we could observe the progressive enlargement of its influence on an alternative kind of imaginery, that is to say the political one. This article aims to analyze the political reflections and, especially, the impolitical ones around the «antihero» knight-errant and «subtle hidalgo». From the first political interpretation made by French Enlightment to the central season of the crisis of Spanish culture and civilization (Unamuno, Ortega y Gasset, Castro), until the contemporary postmodernism and the rediscovery of Don Quijote's relativism.

The article investigates one of those processes: the narrative and symbolic universes of superhero comics and science-fiction (especially those turned into a movie) during the Obama’s Administrations years. The analysis is focused on some characters and features: Superman, Batman and his enemy Joker, and Wonder Woman. Obama was the “Social media president”, and a politician inclined to pop politics and hybridization between politics and entertaiment’s genres (also for generational reasons). Similarly, Obama’s political marketing and spin doctoring often employed frames directly drawn out of comics and sci-fi imaginery. The comics’ characters selectioned in this article represent some of the most famous and popular superheroes, therefore well known not only by fans but the public opinion a...

Since the viral has been transformed from an adjective to a noun (the video, the content, the meme), we have forgotten the anxiety, anguish and panic that can cause true virality, or rather biological virality, then increased from media and social virality. In the so-called "new normal" of this neo-viral age, imposed by the problematic coexistence with Covid-19, and in post-pandemic society, unprecedented political cleavages and new fractures arise in the already extremely jagged field of public opinion. It is therefore reasonable to expect that the medical-scientific sector projected into politics, living a series of divisions, between center-right and center-left and between majority and opposition and, perhaps, also the genesis of furthe...
