The objective of this study is to understand the theoretical trajectory of entrepreneurial learni... more The objective of this study is to understand the theoretical trajectory of entrepreneurial learning through the publications already conducted in this research field. For this purpose, 421 articles were selected and analyzed using bibliometric techniques, including Exploratory Factor Analysis, Keyword Analysis, and Data Pairing Analysis. Analyses were also conducted on the context in which articles were published, including the main authors, time periods, journals, and themes. The results point to constructs that mobilize the conceptual formation of entrepreneurial learning, such as reflective learning and learning models. Significant contributions to the learning of entrepreneurial competencies, such as entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial guidance, and associated policies, were also identified. The main

This paper intends to identify and analyze important issues in the discussion about the Executive... more This paper intends to identify and analyze important issues in the discussion about the Executive Master Programs (Mestrado Modalidade Profissional, MPA) in Brazil. Starting with a general view about the requirements that motivate the executive development programs more important in Brazil (Lato Sensu Postgraduate or Certificate Level Programs and Stricto Sensu Postgraduate or Master of Science and Executive Master Business Administration Programs), it characterizes the response conditions by each one of them related to these requirements. At the same time, it introduces the notion of competence as a key issue to evaluate the effectiveness of these programs. Finally, based on these issues and characterizing the advantages of MPA programs, it concludes by identifying the reasons that have stimulated its strong dissemination in the general executive development programs.

O capital intelectual é percebido como um recurso estratégico capaz de ser propulsor da inovação.... more O capital intelectual é percebido como um recurso estratégico capaz de ser propulsor da inovação. Neste contexto, sugere-se que o capital intelectual e a capacidade absortiva podem ser influenciadores da capacidade de inovar nas organizações. Este artigo tem como objetivo propor e analisar um Modelo de Administração Estratégica do Capital Intelectual a partir de práticas da capacidade absortiva como potencializadora de inovação. Como método utiliza-se a pesquisa exploratória com abordagem quantitativa e aplicação de questionários para uma amostra de 104 gestores. Na análise dos dados utiliza-se a técnica de modelagem de equações estruturais por meio do Partial Least Squares (PLS) com a análise dos coeficientes de caminho observa-se uma forte relação entre os constructos, o que confirmou as hipóteses da pesquisa. Verificou-se que as práticas organizacionais adotadas para o desenvolvimento do capital intelectual, da capacidade absortiva e da inovação são: a) capacitação constante dos colaboradores; b) programas de sugestões; c) assimilação de novas tecnologias; d) aplicação de conhecimentos técnicos; e) parcerias com órgãos de apoio à inovação. Como contribuições, as evidências encontradas indicam que a capacidade absortiva promove o avanço da inovação, podendo ainda ser possível observar práticas de gestão do capital intelectual a partir de rotinas organizacionais.

Resumo: O objetivo deste estudo é analisar a formação teórica do tema ao longo do tempo identific... more Resumo: O objetivo deste estudo é analisar a formação teórica do tema ao longo do tempo identificando os últimos temas pesquisados neste campo de estudos. Para cumprir com esta perspectiva foram aplicadas algumas técnicas de pesquisa bibliométrica, como a análise de cocitação e pareamento, com o software VosViewer, em uma amostra de 143 artigos extraídos da Web Of Science. Resultaram da análise: uma construção acerca dos principais períodos sobre o tema gestão do conhecimento no ambiente da administração pública; as principais áreas de pesquisa; os países onde se localizam o maior número de publicações; as publicações nacionais presentes nessa base; e as publicações mais utilizadas para pesquisas. Como contribuições, foi possível identificar as principais construções teóricas sobre gestão do conhecimento no ambiente da administração pública e gestão social e ainda a distribuição teórica correspondente a estas publicações desde o início do tema na base até os últimos anos. This Study involves one of the most affected sectors in the Brazilian industry by the lack of bus... more This Study involves one of the most affected sectors in the Brazilian industry by the lack of business management, which is the Micro and Small Business (MSB), considering that it is composed of organizations with lean settings, usually focused on their target activity, and not on their management. In this scenario, it is given special spotlight to the Information Technology field, more specifically to the software business, which stands out among the other industry activities for its growth. The study also describes the quest to understand this managing difficulty and suggest adequate solutions to Human Resources Management inside organizations, showing a management model that links the strategy to the organizational competences and, consequently, works its functional and individual competences. Moreover, it approaches the organizational management and the ability to articulate in a systematic way the relation between the organizational, functional and individual dimensions of the company's competence. It also presents the goal of applying a methodology for the implementation of organizational, functional and individual competences' mapping for a small business in the software industry based on its strategic benchmarks. This research is based upon an exploratory case study conducted in a small software company and it focuses the competences' mapping, presenting management contributions, where they provide elements for discussion and highlight opportunities to change; industry contributions, introducing factors that influence this market and make up its strategic process, besides presenting a literature search focused on the sector; theoretical contributions, searching for the competences' mapping in an Organizational Management's approach, which currently has few and limited studies; and methodological contributions, offering a distinct model from the others found in the literature of competences' mapping at the organizational, functional and individual levels.
The challenges in the labor market faced by individuals with 50 years old or older has compulsori... more The challenges in the labor market faced by individuals with 50 years old or older has compulsorily encouraged their transition to entrepreneurship as an alternative. These individuals have several skills, however, these may not be sufficient to develop a new labor activity. The main objective of this article is to characterize the learning paths and skills of these entrepreneurs. For this, we conducted semi-structured interviews with five entrepreneurs from the city of São Paulo. Data were analyzed through content analysis technique, considering the stages of analysis organization, categorization and treatment, inference and interpretation of results. The identified categories included antecedents, similar learning paths and skills. Among the skills, communication with the ecosystem and the need for multiple and constant learning stand out. Theoretical, practical and social contributions emerge from this research. On the other hand, there is a limitation regarding the generalization of the results, pointing to future research with broader samples.

The growing diffusion of collective work configurations in the current organizational environment... more The growing diffusion of collective work configurations in the current organizational environment has remained largely overlooked in the scientific body of work on the theme (BOREHAM, 2011). Paradoxically, however, certain currents in the debate about organizations highlight the role of collective work, as is the case with the literature on organizational routines (NELSON and WINTER, 2005; PENTLAND and FELDMAN, 2005). The question that motivates this investigation explores the relationship between those two themes: can the dynamics of corporate budgeting constitute an adequate space for the formation and development of collective competences? The objective of this question is an inquiry into the design of corporate budgets, from an organizational-routine approach, to identify evidence of teamwork and the formation of collective competences and attributes. The responses transit through a qualitative and phenomenographic investigation that pointed to four descriptive categories of collective work: commitment to deliver, reconfiguration of routines, shared availability, and building relationship networks. The contributions of the research include the potential of the organizational routines theory as a reference for the analysis of corporate processes, the identification of processes capable of contributing to the management of workgroups, and the use of the phenomenographic method as an alternative to frame somewhat intangible organizational phenomena.
Processes and the performance of organizations are built through collective actions arising espec... more Processes and the performance of organizations are built through collective actions arising especially from the interaction between people. However, the predominant forms of management in organizations remain driven by individual performance. One of the difficulties is the lack of theoretical and empirical settings to deal with collective knowledge. It is in this context that the concept of collective competence has been recognized. Thus, the objective of this work is to expand the knowledge of collective settings from the selection of categories of analysis that will allow the identification of elements and dynamics that constitute the collective. In this sense we chose a case study developed in the environment of Human Resources, more particularly in management practices HR company acting in the financial sector, in order to build knowledge on this collective dimension. The analysis of the results revealed not only the presence of elements capable of configuring the collective work, but also a dynamic training and competences development collective, main contributions of the article. The use of this instrument has revealed the presence of two collective competences among the practices of HR examined: relationship and collaboration and capacity to develop joint solutions, considering the first in more advanced stage of consolidation. Finally, also as a result of the work, a framework that represents the dynamics associated with the formation and development of collective competence was prepared.
RESUMO: O artigo analisa aspectos relacionados à aprendizagem individual em um curso de Especiali... more RESUMO: O artigo analisa aspectos relacionados à aprendizagem individual em um curso de Especialização em Gestão de Negócios Financeiros, realizado pela modalidade de ensino à distância, desenvolvido por uma universidade federal. O curso foi contratado por uma instituição financeira de âmbito nacional para capacitar futuros gestores. A análise desenvolvida privilegiou a primeira disciplina do curso, denominada Responsabilidade Sócio-Ambiental e concentrou-se em 3 de um total de 20 turmas que participam do programa, localizadas em Porto Alegre (RS), Londrina e Pato Branco (PR). Utilizaram-se, para a análise, os conteúdos das manifestações virtuais de alunos registradas nos diferentes canais disponibilizados como recursos pedagógicos: fóruns, chats e cafés virtuais. Buscou-se a sistematização de elementos que favorecem ou dificultam a aprendizagem entre os alunos. Os resultados iluminam possibilidades e limites específicos do Ensino à Distância, no que se refere à problemática da aprendizagem.
Over the years, technology parks have attracted organizations seeking competitiveness through inn... more Over the years, technology parks have attracted organizations seeking competitiveness through innovation and technological cooperation. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the competencies contained within a technology park, TECNOPUC, and the competitiveness of the Information Technology (IT) firms located within it. A qualitative exploratory study was conducted involving experts on the topic, the Park managers and managers from seven firms located in the Park. The findings reveal the perception that the brand TECNOPUC and the working environment provided by the Park are the competencies that are more closely related to the competitiveness of the firms located within it. The managers interviewed seem to be in the Park in search of business opportunities with large corporations, focusing their actions on reducing costs in order to achieve greater competitiveness. Rather than developing or selling technology, the priority seems to be selling products and services. Thus, actions aimed at encouraging and promoting research, technological development and innovations, such as the implementation of joint projects, for example, are not prioritized.

O conhecimento é um recurso organizacional valioso que tem merecido atenção nos estudos acadêmico... more O conhecimento é um recurso organizacional valioso que tem merecido atenção nos estudos acadêmicos nas últimas décadas. A Capacidade absortiva (CA) mostra o reconhecimento e apropriação do conhecimento externo pelas empresas para desenvolverem vantagens competitivas. Estudos recentes têm abordado a CA associada a diferentes temas e áreas do conhecimento. O artigo teve como objetivo identificar e analisar as contribuições dos principais estudos internacionais publicados no período de 2010 a 2019 sobre capacidade absortiva e internacionalização. Uma revisão sistemática da literatura foi realizada com análise detalhada dos estudos publicados nesse período. Utilizou-se o método quantitativo e Survey como principais técnicas de coleta de dados na maioria dos artigos investigados. Os principais resultados indicam a CA sendo utilizada como lente teórica para explicar o processo de internacionalização das empresas sob várias vertentes. Os temas mais explorados que emergiram foram: ambidestria organizacional como fator contextual competitivo associado à exploração e explotação internacional; CA como mediadora da internacionalização; CA como impulsionadora da inovação no exterior; centros de pesquisa sendo relevantes na busca de conhecimento externo; e a internacionalização aumenta a CA em clusters. Knowledge is a valuable organizational resource that has deserved attention in academic studies in latest decades. Absorptive Capacity (ACAP) shows the recognition and appropriation of external knowledge by companies to develop competitive advantages. Recent studies have addressed ACAP associated with different topics and areas of knowledge. The article aimed to identify and analyze the contributions of the main international studies published from 2010 to 2019 on absorptive capacity and internationalization. A systematic review of the literature was carried out with a detailed analysis of the studies published in that period. The quantitative method and survey were used as the main data collection techniques in most of the investigated articles. The main results indicate the absorptive capacity being used as a theoretical lens to explain the process of internationalization of companies under several aspects. The most explored themes that emerged were: organizational ambidexterity, as a competitive contextual factor associated with international exploration and exploitation; ACAP, as a mediator of internationalization; ACAP, as a driver of innovation abroad; research centers being relevant in the search for external knowledge; and internationalization increases ACAP in clusters.

T... more Absorptive capacity (ACAP) is one of the most active themes in knowledge management literature. The topic is extensively mentioned in several relevant research fields, including innovation, organisational learning and strategic management. In this study, we employed bibliographic coupling to analyse the extant academic literature published in order to detect research fronts on the theme. Our sample includes 2,072 papers published in the last four years, which is in line with our basic intent to investigate the latest academic research. Papers included in the core research front highlight the role of ACAP as an organisational ability to assess new valuable knowledge, aiding the development of organisational capabilities. The role of knowledge absorption capacity in alliance networks, open innovation processes, intra-organisational learning, as well as exploratory and exploitative initiatives are the other relevant research fronts identified. We suggest the proposed implications of the analysis as material for further research on the theme.

O artigo pretende repensar a questão da formação gerencial e, neste sentido, destaca dois aspecto... more O artigo pretende repensar a questão da formação gerencial e, neste sentido, destaca dois aspectos que estão estreitamente vinculados a esta temática: a) analisa a perspectiva da abordagem aprendizagem na ação nos cursos de formação gerencial de longa duração; b) introduz uma discussão acerca das alternativas para superar as dificuldades referentes à efetividade desses cursos na perspectiva de resposta às problemáticas empresariais. A partir destes objetivos, o artigo examina as possibilidades dos processos de Aprendizagem na Ação em cursos de pósgraduação lato sensu como forma de articulação entre informação teórica e experiência pessoal/ profissional. Neste sentido, analisa a questão da estratégia de aprendizagem e reflete sobre o fato de ela ser tão ou mais importante que os conteúdos específicos das disciplinas e seminários, pelo menos no que se refere ao desenvolvimento de certo tipo de competências. Resulta em propor e discutir uma concepção que visa estabelecer conexões mais sistemáticas entre a modalidade de curso analisada e o processo de desenvolvimento de competências. Essa concepção é baseada na emergência de novos paradigmas no campo da aprendizagem e formação gerencial, cujos fundamentos se concentram na abordagem Aprendizagem na Ação, com destaque para a noção de Comunidades de Prática nas organizações. The use of this instrument has revealed the presence of two collective competences among the practices of HR examined: relationship and collaboration and capacity to develop joint solutions, considering the first in more advanced stage of consolidation. Finally, also as a result of the work, a framework that represents the dynamics associated with the formation and development of collective competence was prepared.
RESUMO: O artigo analisa aspectos relacionados à aprendizagem individual em um curso de Especiali... more RESUMO: O artigo analisa aspectos relacionados à aprendizagem individual em um curso de Especialização em Gestão de Negócios Financeiros, realizado pela modalidade de ensino à distância, desenvolvido por uma universidade federal. O curso foi contratado por uma instituição financeira de âmbito nacional para capacitar futuros gestores. A análise desenvolvida privilegiou a primeira disciplina do curso, denominada Responsabilidade Sócio-Ambiental e concentrou-se em 3 de um total de 20 turmas que participam do programa, localizadas em Porto Alegre (RS), Londrina e Pato Branco (PR). Utilizaram-se, para a análise, os conteúdos das manifestações virtuais de alunos registradas nos diferentes canais disponibilizados como recursos pedagógicos: fóruns, chats e cafés virtuais. Buscou-se a sistematização de elementos que favorecem ou dificultam a aprendizagem entre os alunos. Os resultados iluminam possibilidades e limites específicos do Ensino à Distância, no que se refere à problemática da aprendizagem.
Over the years, technology parks have attracted organizations seeking competitiveness through inn... more Over the years, technology parks have attracted organizations seeking competitiveness through innovation and technological cooperation. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the competencies contained within a technology park, TECNOPUC, and the competitiveness of the Information Technology (IT) firms located within it. A qualitative exploratory study was conducted involving experts on the topic, the Park managers and managers from seven firms located in the Park. The findings reveal the perception that the brand TECNOPUC and the working environment provided by the Park are the competencies that are more closely related to the competitiveness of the firms located within it. The managers interviewed seem to be in the Park in search of business opportunities with large corporations, focusing their actions on reducing costs in order to achieve greater competitiveness. Rather than developing or selling technology, the priority seems to be selling products and services. Thus, actions aimed at encouraging and promoting research, technological development and innovations, such as the implementation of joint projects, for example, are not prioritized.

O conhecimento é um recurso organizacional valioso que tem merecido atenção nos estudos acadêmico... more O conhecimento é um recurso organizacional valioso que tem merecido atenção nos estudos acadêmicos nas últimas décadas. A Capacidade absortiva (CA) mostra o reconhecimento e apropriação do conhecimento externo pelas empresas para desenvolverem vantagens competitivas. Estudos recentes têm abordado a CA associada a diferentes temas e áreas do conhecimento. O artigo teve como objetivo identificar e analisar as contribuições dos principais estudos internacionais publicados no período de 2010 a 2019 sobre capacidade absortiva e internacionalização. Uma revisão sistemática da literatura foi realizada com análise detalhada dos estudos publicados nesse período. Utilizou-se o método quantitativo e Survey como principais técnicas de coleta de dados na maioria dos artigos investigados. Os principais resultados indicam a CA sendo utilizada como lente teórica para explicar o processo de internacionalização das empresas sob várias vertentes. Os temas mais explorados que emergiram foram: ambidestria organizacional como fator contextual competitivo associado à exploração e explotação internacional; CA como mediadora da internacionalização; CA como impulsionadora da inovação no exterior; centros de pesquisa sendo relevantes na busca de conhecimento externo; e a internacionalização aumenta a CA em clusters. Knowledge is a valuable organizational resource that has deserved attention in academic studies in latest decades. Absorptive Capacity (ACAP) shows the recognition and appropriation of external knowledge by companies to develop competitive advantages. Recent studies have addressed ACAP associated with different topics and areas of knowledge. The article aimed to identify and analyze the contributions of the main international studies published from 2010 to 2019 on absorptive capacity and internationalization. A systematic review of the literature was carried out with a detailed analysis of the studies published in that period. The quantitative method and survey were used as the main data collection techniques in most of the investigated articles. The main results indicate the absorptive capacity being used as a theoretical lens to explain the process of internationalization of companies under several aspects. The most explored themes that emerged were: organizational ambidexterity, as a competitive contextual factor associated with international exploration and exploitation; ACAP, as a mediator of internationalization; ACAP, as a driver of innovation abroad; research centers being relevant in the search for external knowledge; and internationalization increases ACAP in clusters.

T... more Absorptive capacity (ACAP) is one of the most active themes in knowledge management literature. The topic is extensively mentioned in several relevant research fields, including innovation, organisational learning and strategic management. In this study, we employed bibliographic coupling to analyse the extant academic literature published in order to detect research fronts on the theme. Our sample includes 2,072 papers published in the last four years, which is in line with our basic intent to investigate the latest academic research. Papers included in the core research front highlight the role of ACAP as an organisational ability to assess new valuable knowledge, aiding the development of organisational capabilities. The role of knowledge absorption capacity in alliance networks, open innovation processes, intra-organisational learning, as well as exploratory and exploitative initiatives are the other relevant research fronts identified. We suggest the proposed implications of the analysis as material for further research on the theme.

O artigo pretende repensar a questão da formação gerencial e, neste sentido, destaca dois aspecto... more O artigo pretende repensar a questão da formação gerencial e, neste sentido, destaca dois aspectos que estão estreitamente vinculados a esta temática: a) analisa a perspectiva da abordagem aprendizagem na ação nos cursos de formação gerencial de longa duração; b) introduz uma discussão acerca das alternativas para superar as dificuldades referentes à efetividade desses cursos na perspectiva de resposta às problemáticas empresariais. A partir destes objetivos, o artigo examina as possibilidades dos processos de Aprendizagem na Ação em cursos de pósgraduação lato sensu como forma de articulação entre informação teórica e experiência pessoal/ profissional. Neste sentido, analisa a questão da estratégia de aprendizagem e reflete sobre o fato de ela ser tão ou mais importante que os conteúdos específicos das disciplinas e seminários, pelo menos no que se refere ao desenvolvimento de certo tipo de competências. Resulta em propor e discutir uma concepção que visa estabelecer conexões mais sistemáticas entre a modalidade de curso analisada e o processo de desenvolvimento de competências. Essa concepção é baseada na emergência de novos paradigmas no campo da aprendizagem e formação gerencial, cujos fundamentos se concentram na abordagem Aprendizagem na Ação, com destaque para a noção de Comunidades de Prática nas organizações.
