Also studied are the other factors contributing to the team's popularity on Facebook. Using Fanpagekarma, an online social media analysis tool, the data indicating popularity of the Red Arrows on Facebook is captured for two timestamps: before the commencement of the Asia-Pacific and Middle East Tour 2016, and while the tour is in progress. The two sets of data are statistically analyzed to find if any association exists between a visit to a country by the team and the rise in popularity on Facebook in that particular country. Also, other information sources are studied and analyzed to justify the change in Facebook popularity behavior in certain countries. The countries on the itinerary of the Red Arrows show an above average increase in popularity in the form of 'Total Page Likes'. Also, the 'People Talking About ...

Public Figures like politicians, sportsperson, etc. as well as public offices like the various government ministries are making use of the social media as a public relations medium. Interestingly, the armed forces across the globe are also adopting social media to connect with the online population. This paper attempts to undertake a comparative study of the first-looks and popularity indexes between the social media presence of two organizations which are into similar functions of conducting air flight demonstrations. The organizations under study are the United States (U.S.) Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Recent decades have witnessed dramatic shifts in the role of Human Resource (HR) Architecture. Even though 85 percent of a corporation"s value is based on intangible assets, this asset is least understood, least prone to measurement, and hence, least susceptible to the management. The ever changing technological aspects, strategic HR and performance are the most dominant factors for measuring the productivity of any organization. The common constant factors for any organization to achieve competitive advantage are: leadership, free and open communication, strategic flexibility, decision-making, passionate work culture etc. These parameters should be inherent, inbuilt and incessant in any organization. Organizations need leaders who could not just "do things right" but also "do the right things." The challenge of leadership is not what it used to be, today"s demand is "transforming leaders", those who don"t just solve the problems, but who help to raise society as a whole to higher levels of motivation and morality. One of the tools suggested in this work for upshot performance is "Power of Full Engagement"adopting as a work-culture, apart from the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) principles. Balanced Scorecard developed by (Kaplan and Norton, 1996) emphasizes on measurement of performance of the organization. Primarily Balanced Scorecard complements financial measures of past performance with leading indicators of future performance. Furthermore, the study has culminated into four important analyses and working models as under: Strategic harnessing of EQ and Power of Full Engagement manifestations. Linkage-network model for total organizational excellence. Holistic Engagement Score analysis for achieving organizational excellence. High Performance typology model. 2 Further, some salient points arrived at in this work have been deliberated upon and suitably presented in the succeeding paragraphs. 1.2 The Scope of the study The following are the hypothesis, objectives, as well as methodology for the present research work.

R&D organisations are normally esoteric and their management processes are considered challenging and complex.2 DRDO's research is primarily for the benefit of the three defence services who also fall under the umbrella of MoD. This creates a unique and unusual situation in which the customers (viz. the three services) are fundamentally, similarly placed departments, like the R&D organisation, under the same ministry. Many literary excerpts on the subject point towards a feeling amongst the services that DRDO does not give the users (‘user' is DRDO's term for customers) requirements, a competitively equal importance on a similar level as a private player would have given, in such a competitive environment3 . It has been felt that there is a lack of mutual understanding and appreciation of the constraints faced by the services and DRDO. Th...

Design/methodology/approach This study begins by unfolding the concepts and advantages of TISM. The step-by-step methodology of TISM is exemplified by employing it to analyze the mutual dependence among inhibitors of smartphone manufacturing ecosystem development (SMED). Cross-impact matrix multiplication applied to the classification analysis is also performed to graphically represent these inhibitors based on their driving power and dependence. Findings This study highlights the significance of TISM over conventional interpretive structural modeling (ISM). The inhibitors of SMED are explored by reviewing existing literature and obtaining experts’ opinions. TISM is employed to classify these inhibitors in order to devise a five-level hierarchical structure base...
