are associated with poor oral hygiene. Dental calculus is a common
finding. However, rarely does a calculus with such an enormous size
does comes across. Conditions which make plaque removal difficult
and favour formation of dental calculus are referred to as
predisposing factors and these should be considered. The following
case report describes the presentation of a huge mass of calculus in
the floor of the mouth. After removal, lingually present horizontally
tilted premolar was seen. Biochemical analysis of the specimen
detected calcium and phosphate ions similar to that in calculus.
Hence it was diagnosed as calculus.

dental treatment camp, with the chief complaint of pain in upper
anterior teeth region along with the mobility of the tooth segment.
History of trauma day before due to accidental impact from an iron
rod was elicited from the patient. Based upon the findings of the
study, it is concluded that reattachment of fractured tooth fragment
is the best method of restoring the functions, esthetics and biological
properties of the tooth structure rather than prosthetic and artificial
looking restorations. When the availability of the fractured fragment
is there, reattachment should always be considered as the treatment
modality.

Supplemental tooth are tooth that resemble a tooth of normal series.
The presence of bilateral supernumerary premolars in absence of any
associated syndromes or systemic conditions is extremely rare. Our
case reports such a unique presentation.

They may be also in constant contact with tobacco, alcohol, or other substances taken
through the mouth or placed in the mouth like amalgam restorations.
This paper reports a case of oral lichenoid reaction to amalgam and focuses on the local toxic effects of amalgam as dental restorations with particular reference to oral lichenoid reactions (lesions).

Unlike other periodontal diseases, it presents with substantial necrosis of gingival tissues, and loss of periodontal ligament and alveolar bone. Herewith, we present a case report of NUP in a patient of Libyan origin. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first case report from Libya in English literature

Its prevalence is very low in general population and could be frequently missed on oral examination. We present a rare case of dental transposition between left mandibular canine and first premolar in a 22 year old Libyan male patient.
