It seemed that the teachers could overcome if they were proficient in utilizing the internet and computer applications in the students' learning process because the students enjoyed the gadgets. In a sense, teachers should integrate supportive technology, problem-based approaches, and higher-order thinking skills. Based on these problems, the researcher was interested in developing students' reading skills by using Audiobooks apps. Moreover, the research investigated that students could significantly develop their reading skills by reading English stories with Audiobooks apps. It aimed to investigate the students' reading skills could significantly be developing by reading English stories with the Audiobooks app. The research applied a case study as the qualitative research method. The participants were three students from seventh-grade students. The researchers collected and analyzed the data from observations, tests, and interviews. Based on the finding and discussion, it can be concluded that the participants have achieved and exceeded in Standard Minimum Score (KKM). Besides, the students are enthusiastic and comfortable reading English stories with Audiobooks application in the learning process.

The 253 students in the entire 10th grade courses at SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang made up the study's sample population. Then, using random sampling, 72 students were chosen as the research's sample. The researchers used a qualitative method. The collecting data used interviews and observation. Interview conducted on several lecturers and academics to get data analysis. Then examined the results of the interviews to get the essence and data findings that could answer the problems of this study and hypotheses. Based on data analysis the researchers concluded that the digital or technology-based learning experience during the remote learning period in response to the pandemic has indicated that learning was exciting because either lecturers and students have established very synergistic collaborations to produce learning quality that was as expected. This study focuses on two character education values namely religious and discipline. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, and the purpose of this study was to identify the application of two values of character education in the subjects and school culture in elementary school in Teluk Naga District, Tangerang Regency. The number of samples in this research are five public elementary schools (SDN) in Teluk Naga District of Tangerang Regency, it includes one school of each village; SDN in Kampung Melaya Barat, Muara, Teluk Naga, Pangkalan, and Kampung Besar. Based on the research that has been conducted, the five schools have well applied religious and discipline values in learning activities and school culture. The implementation of these values can be carried out in opening, core, and closing activities during teaching and learning activities. Moreover, the implementation of religious and discipline values can also be implemented through the school culture, that is by facilitating students to do routine activities, becoming paragons of virtue, and conditioning.

In conducting this research the writer used qualitative descriptive as the method of the research. In this research used purposive sampling with the sample was 36 participants. To collect and analyzed the data, the writer used the information from observation, students’ writing test and interview. The result of observation and interview in this research showed that intensive reading can improve students’ writing ability on descriptive text. The result also supported by students’ writing test. It can be seen from students’ pre-test and post-test. The average score of pre-test was 30.1 or 35% and the average score of post-test was 55.4 or 65% of 36 students. This research used quantitative method, all of the population that was 67 students chose by the writer as the sample by using saturated sampling. In collecting the data, the writer made an instrument of vocabulary mastery and reading ability which approximate 40 multiple choices. Because the variable x (vocabulary mastery) was not normally distributed, testing of hypothesis was done by using Kendall’s Tau-B test. Based on the calculation, correlation coefficient Kendall’s Tau-B for vocabulary mastery and reading ability was 0,310. The population of the research was the whole classes of tenth grade students of SMAN 6 Kota Tangerang which consist of 378 students. Then, there were 79 students was selected as the sample of the research by using Simple Random Sampling. The data were collected by using MRP-R Reading Survey to test students’ reading motivation (variable X) and Short Answer Task to test students’ reading comprehension (variable Y). The teachers as a role models of the students in teaching and learning process, they should create the best strategy in developing students’ motivation in learning English. Kaylene, C. W & Caroline, C. W argue that motivation can impact on students in five major areas; as learner, teacher, content, method or process and environment. Based on the previous studies, in this research the researcher used extensive reading was one of alternative method or process to encourage students’ motivation. The research was conducted to identify students’ motivation through extensive reading. It used to solve students’ problems in learning English as their foreign language, especially on reading skill. This research applied principle of descriptive qualitative method; with the total numbers of participants are 6 from 28 students in 2nd semester for English Department at Universitas Islam Syekh Yusuf - Tangerang. The result showed that extensive reading can encourage students’ motivation in learning reading. It means that not only increasing students’ motivation but also increasing students’ vocabulary and comprehension, so students can develop their skill in learning English (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
