The aim of this research was to know a significant effect of extensive reading on the students' r... more The aim of this research was to know a significant effect of extensive reading on the students' reading comprehension at the tenth grade of SMA Daarul Muttaqien Tangerang. This research used quantitative method, 71 students as the sample which taken by using quasi experimental research and non-equivalent control group design. Students' test and questionnaires were used by the writer to collect the data. The hypothesis data was tested using formula t-test, it was known that in experimental class and control class indicated with Ha was accepted its mean that there was an effect of using extensive reading on the students' reading comprehension at the Tenth grade of SMA Daarul Muttaqien Tangerang, in experimental class the students were focused and had a big spirit in learning reading using extensive reading they were could gave a summary of the reading text with good structure and done the instrument correctly during the learning process. Based on the percentages students' post-test showed that students' reading comprehension was better than before. Moreover, this research also found that students' learning motivation was very good and the students in experimental class were more active in reading using extensive reading during learning process.

The study utilized an exploratory and descriptive research design, employing interviews and document analysis as data collection methods. The participants included vital administrators, faculty members, and students from various departments within the university. The findings revealed that information technology was crucial in shaping educational human resource development strategies at Kutai Kartanegara University. The university has implemented various IT-based initiatives to enhance teaching and learning experiences, improve administrative processes, and foster professional development among faculty members. Regarding teaching and learning, the university has integrated various IT tools and platforms into the curriculum, such as learning management systems, multimedia resources, and virtual classrooms...

The researchers used a qualitative method. The collecting data used interviews and observation. Interview conducted on several lecturers and academics to get data analysis. Then examined the results of the interviews to get the essence and data findings that could answer the problems of this study and hypotheses. Based on data analysis the researchers concluded that the digital or technology-based learning experience during the remote learning period in response to the pandemic has indicated that learning was exciting because either lecturers and students have established very synergistic collaborations to produce learning quality that was as expected. The more vocabulary the students acquire, the easier the students master the language skills. However, to acquire vocabulary is not an easy task for most students. To acquire vocabulary means that learners need to understand the aspects of vocabulary such as meaning, grammar, pronunciation, and spelling. However, the subjects of this study found it difficult to understand all the aspects. To overcome the problem, teacher needs to explore the use of teaching media. One of media that can be used in teaching vocabulary is song, but to make it more fun and practical, teacher can make use of online music player Joox, one of mostly used music player. Awareness of the academic community about the importance of interaction with villagers in counseling and social service in the Cisarua area is the goal of this Community Service (PKM) activity. The Cisarua Village is one of the tourist areas in Bogor Regency. The method used in the direct approach, is survey, lecture/counseling, discussion, and evaluation. The activity step begins with students going directly to the field, interviewing villagers, and providing education, technology, and English education. Selina provides social assistance. The activity was carried out in Cisarua village, Bogor Regency, West Java. Through this PkM, participants/citizens who attend can increase motivation in technology education by mastering English, this makes it easier to interact with domestic and foreign tourists in the Industrial 4.0 era

The aim of this research was to find out whether the teachers responded in inserting role play wh... more The aim of this research was to find out whether the teachers responded in inserting role play when they taught speaking. This research used a qualitative design and descriptive approach. The respondent of this research was 22 Senior High School and Junior High School teachers. In collecting the data, the researcher used a questionnaire and SPSS to analyze the data. The results show that the role-playing strategy consisted of four indicators: promote exhilaration, build self-confidence, encourage communication, and language acquisition improvement. Based on the research from the questionnaire, it can be concluded that all of the teachers have used the role-playing strategy in teaching speaking.

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada dua nilai pendidikan karakter yaitu; religius dan disiplin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dan tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan dua nilai pendidikan karakter dalam mata pelajaran dan budaya sekolah di sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Teluk Naga Kabupaten Tangerang. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 SDN di Kecamatan Teluk Naga Kabupaten Tangerang, yaitu satu SDN di setiap desa yang meliputi SDN di Desa Kampung Melaya Barat, Muara, Teluk Naga, Pangkalan, dan Kampung Besar.
