This study focuses on the nature and consequences of juvenile delinquency in Bonny Island of Rive... more This study focuses on the nature and consequences of juvenile delinquency in Bonny Island of Rivers State, Nigeria. The study aimed at finding out why juvenile engage in delinquent act, why juvenile offenders continue in crime after being punished and what Rivers State Government as well as Nigeria Government needs to do inorder to educate juvenile about crime and the negative impact of crime on individual and society at large. Specifically, this research work holds that juvenile in Bonny Island, Nigeria involved with delinquent behaviour, thus attributing it to family structure, social media, education, peer pressure, and environment etc. The various consequences of juvenile delinquency on the individual, victim, family, school, community and the wider society, support the view that no country can afford to ignore it. The research was able to provide extensive past and present global perceptions about the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency and its extent. However, the expected outcome of this study is that to reduce or eradicate juvenile delinquency in our society. Government and voluntary organization should be involved in the following ways: Government should provide employment opportunities for youths, provision of sporting activities and other recreational activities and Pre-trial diversion programs, such as pre-trial community service, vocational or life skills training programs, victim-offender mediation or family group conferences should be encouraged etc. Method of data collection used in this study was only questionnaire.

Public toilets should be seen as a core component of environmental design, adding to a city's quality and viability. This study examines the impact of public toilet system and its associated problem in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State. A total of 180 participants were used as sample population for the research work. Testing the hypothesis using correlation analysis, it was gathered that there is a significant impact of public toilet system and its associated problem on the people of Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The study investigated how gender of single parenthood and personality type influence female undergraduate drug use. One hundred and forty two (142) female undergraduate students were drawn from five (5) Departments in two Faculties in the University of Uyo using multi-staged sampling technique. Their age ranged from seventeen to twenty eight (17-28) years, with a mean age of 22.5. Two instruments were used in the collection of data. These include the Drug Use Screening Inventory-Revised (DUSI-R) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ). A descriptive survey design was adopted for the study and data obtained from the study was analyzed using a 2x2 Chi-square (X2) statistic. The result showed no statistical association between being raised in a father-only household and drug use among female undergraduates (X2 =0.025; df=1; p>0.05), rather, it was personality type that showed a statistical association with female undergraduate drug use, with extroverts involving in severe drug use (X2=2.642; df=1; p<0.05).

Seventy-four (74) participants were drawn from Super-Phone Enterprise and Tecno White House for the purpose of this work. Forty-eight (48) members from Super-Phone Enterprise and 26 members from Tecno White House, with age ranged from seventeen to twenty eight (17-28) years, with a mean age of 22.5. Data gathered for this research or study was based on quantitative analysis which involves the use of questionnaire as instrument for data collection. An Organization Communication and Coordination Questionnaire (OCCQ) were adopted for the research. A survey design approach was adopted in the study, while Simple percentage approach was adopted in analyzing the data. Based on percentage analysis 81% affirmed the importance of organizational structure against 19%. Thus organizational structure is a vital too in any organizational coordination.
