The most important is the computer. So, this communication technique can be used between computers and humans. This interaction is done through interfaces, this area called Human Computer Interaction (HCI). This paper gives an overview of the main definitions of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) which is an important domain of artificial intelligence and which should be taken into account during any related research (Type of speech, vocabulary size... etc.). It also gives a summary of important research relevant to speech processing in the few last years, with a general idea of our proposal that could be considered as a contribution in this area of research and by giving a conclusion referring to certain enhancements that could be in the future works.

Work of the neural network inspired by biological neural networks and have applied in many fields, the most important of which is the communication between the computers and humans (Human-Computer Interaction) naturally and simple such as speech or gesture communication etc. In this article, we present an overview of automatic speech recognition by neural networks. We start with the history of neural networks. Then will present some recent research, their results, and the techniques used and conclude with a discussion of this research with the illustration of the intelligent interface model that depends on neural networks.

Few studies have been carried out in this area to enhance the performance of identification and authentication based on the fusion of those modalities. In multimodal biometric systems, the most common fusion approach is integration at the matching score level, but it is necessary to compare this strategy of fusion to the other strategies, like fusion at feature level. Our system combines these two biometric traits and provides better recognition performance compared with single biometric systems. Multimodal Authentication Systems: The first monomodal verification system is based on face verification using Gabor filters for feature extraction. The second system is based on online signature verification using Nalwa's method. The classification is released using the Cosine Mahal...

Promising Results of first experiences pushed us to continue the exploitation of new version of Neural Networks (Spike Neural Networks) and to develop codification and recognition algorithms which are specifically associated to this system. In this context, works were consecrated on algorithm developing of the original image processing, minutiae and singular points localization; Gabor filters coding and testing these algorithms on well known databases which are: FVC2004 databases & FingerCell database. Performance Evaluating has proved that Spike neural network achieved a good recognition rate closer to rates achieved by other methods in a very short time and this make it more useful in online applications.
