Modeling a system of systems, for supervision purpose, is a complex issue influenced by security ... more Modeling a system of systems, for supervision purpose, is a complex issue influenced by security constraints more important than those of its component systems. This work proposes a hierarchical model of system of systems based on Hypergraphs and Constraint Satisfaction Problems. First of all, the developed model allows the operator to show, by a bottom up analysis of the hyper-graphs, the failure of a local system, and its influence on the other systems. In the other hand, the top down analysis of the hypergraphs, allows to check the possible reconfigurations of the global system of systems that satisfy a maximum number of constraints.

On the one hand, there is a lot of available kind of fieldbuses on the market. On the other hand, constraints and criteria are multiple and difficult to be evaluated. This chapter proposes a means to evaluate some dependability criteria. The security aspect is not taken into account in the present study.

L'objectif de ce travail est de proposer une methode et un outil de conception des systemes a... more L'objectif de ce travail est de proposer une methode et un outil de conception des systemes automatises distribues. Cette demarche de conception d'instruments intelligents ou de systemes intelligents, permet la generation automatique du code a implementer de maniere a reduire le nombre d'erreurs de conception. Apres une presentation des outils tels que CAP et LARII, nous proposons une approche utilisant le modele externe comme schema directeur pour la conception d'un instrument et plus specialement pour la generation de son code. La methode de conception presentee propose de decrire le fonctionnement attendu de l'instrument au travers de la description des services qu'il doit rendre, organises en deux groupes externe et interne. Le langage de description propose integre la possibilite de structurer et de hierarchiser les services composant l'instrument. This work focuses on developing a design methodology for reliable control system instrumentation.... more This work focuses on developing a design methodology for reliable control system instrumentation. This methodology aims at optimising the instrumentation using a dependability criterion based on reliability and cost. The design methodology is primarily based on three processes: structural analysis of the relations between different variables and physical quantities that govern the system; evaluation of the reliability of the main mission of the control system instrumentation using the structural links, which depends on a graphical tree representation of the system in the design phase; and optimisation, which allows us to determine the best architecture for instrumentation. This methodology is illustrated for the design of an electric vehicle.

In this paper, an intelligent automatic irrigation system is studied in order to optimize water consumption, with a particular context that aims to find the best economic optimization between automatic system and manual operations. More especially, the used criteria concern the cost of equipment, water saving, balance between manual and automatic tasks, equipment safety and adaptation to local technical skills.
