This paper provides an overview of the development of space travel law rules, principles governin... more This paper provides an overview of the development of space travel law rules, principles governing the space exploration (equality, cooperation, accessibility, reciprocity, consultation), steps undertaken by certain states (USA, Russia, China) for the purpose of space exploration, space travel providers. The legal basis for conducting the space activities is provided in the five outer space treaties – Outer Space Treaty 1967, Rescue Agreement 1968, Liability Convention 1972, Registration Convention 1974, Moon Agreement 1974. In addition, paper analyzes the right to starlight. Starlight is a cultural and scientific property right, owned by all of humanity, protected by international law and norms, whose guardianship has been entrusted to individual States, for the benefit and enjoyment of all human kind. As a property right, Starlight must be made available to the owners of this property, so that members of humanity may freely enjoy their property and be free to travel to it for scie...

The subject of this paper are rules governing protection of world heritage (cultural, natural, co... more The subject of this paper are rules governing protection of world heritage (cultural, natural, common heritage of humankind), on the one hand, and sustainable development on the other. Cultural Heritage and The Common Heritage of Humankind are novel legal tools that have been developed and play a key role in the law of tourism and sustainable development. There are many ways that one state can keep another state from benefiting from its cultural heritage, but international law is there to protect the rights of the host state so that the host can provide travel products and seek sustainable financial gains through tourism. When considering tourism and sustainable development, treaty drafters and legislatures have looked carefully at the products that are produced for touristic purposes; how they are utilized, consumed, reproduced and preserved. Both the needs of the host state and people of that state are reflected in Cultural Heritage law along with its rights, duties, and obligations. The greater needs of humanity are reflected in the Common Heritage of Humankind law with its rights, duties and obligations.

In the pandemic contact tracing post 9-11 era of high technology global security, there is no single determinate structure for the application of basic international law principles. The legal terms in practice do not point at things, persons, structures, nor even at other words with reliable predictability. The novelty of the technologies used results in referent persons, locales, situations and governing laws being subject to the broadest interpretive license. Meanwhile, the originating spirit found in international legal rules protecting civilians, such as the Geneva Conventions, has been applied to electronic attacks during times of armed conflict. Much is discussed within this book that is helpful for understanding the legal aspects of tourism sustainable development with its legal pitfalls, shortcomings and sometimes regulation overkill. The book looks at the law's strengths, analyzes its juristic foundations, and makes recommendations for further development with the goal maintaining Thailand's economic growth now and for future generations.

The paper is intended to fill in a gap in research related to the post-pandemic recovery of the tourism industry with the help of dark-sky tourism.
