Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran housekeeping staff dalam memberikan pelayanan berkualitas kepada tamu yang menginap sehingga mereka puas dan tidak menyampaikan keluhan atas pelayanan yang telah diterimanya selama menginap di Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach Bali Hotel. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui peran housekeeping staff adalah analisis deskriftif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan kepustakaan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah secara umum tamu yang menginap merasa puas dengan pelayanan housekeeping staff namun masih ada beberapa keluhan yang disampaikan atas layanan yang telah diberikan. The development of the tourism industry in the south of Bali tend to be uncontrolled and opened a... more The development of the tourism industry in the south of Bali tend to be uncontrolled and opened an opportunity for other development of alternative tourism destination in other regions of Bali such as Singaraja. One of destination with natural and cultural tourism attraction is Ambengan Village. In the increase of tourist demand, the community needs to do some innovations and development of tourism product. Furthermore, it requires to prioritize the existing market segmentation and reaching the other one. It necessary due to the existing product has some weaknesses compared to tourism product attributes. The objective of this research is to discover the tourist's profile and their perception of ecotourism product in Ambengan Village with qualitative and quantitative method. To obtain the data, the research instruments used were questionnaire to 100 mixes of domestic and international tourist, interview guidelines to government, village chief, local community, and checklist observation. Majority of the tourist were satisfied with natural attraction been offered, informative local people, and safety atmosphere surrounding area. The local community has been aware of tourism potential in their village. They are in the state of euphoria level. However it wasn't completed with other supported attributes such as accommodation; restaurant; accessibility; route direction; moneychanger and souvenir shop. Government needs to allocate more budgets in supervising the community to develop tourism potential. The data obtained also assists them practically to create marketing strategy and guidance of ecotourism product in Ambengan Village.

Mannaka is a coffee shop located in Petitenget. Increasing umkm in the same field, namely the cof... more Mannaka is a coffee shop located in Petitenget. Increasing umkm in the same field, namely the coffee shop, resulting in intense competition and many choices of brands for consumers so that consumers compare the brand image of Mannaka with other coffee shops where This can change consumer purchasing decisions. In attracting the attention of consumers to improve purchasing decisions, now many coffee shops do advertisements on social media with Upload photos of their products and designs for their coffee shop. Based on this research This aims to analyze whether the brand image owned by Mannaka and also media advertising social activities that have been carried out influence consumer purchasing decisions. The type of research used is quantitative with data collection methods through distribution of Questionnaires, Observations, Interviews and Documentation. The sample used amounted to 40 consumers who are met by chance in Mannaka (accidental sampling). Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with hypothesis testing using SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously brand image (X1) and social media advertising (X2) influences the purchase decision (Y) by obtaining an F count > F table even though it is partial brand image does not affect purchasing decisions partially because it obtains a sig value > 0.05 but social media advertising partially influences purchasing decisions by acquiring sig value ≤0.05. With a coefficient of determination of 0.425. This means that the brand variable image (X1) and social media advertising (X2) have a joint contribution of 42.5% to the purchasing decision variable (Y) while the remaining 57.5% is influenced by other factors which were not examined in this study.

In... more UNESCO has long been known as one of the elements that support cultural heritage conservation. In 2004, UNESCO began to build and trigger the birth of a new creativity by developing concept of creative city network which is divided into several themes, such as design, music, literature, film, media art, gastronomy, crafts and folk art. In line with the concept of tourism and creative economy that is actively promoted by Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, several cities in Indonesia have been trying to join the network, one of them is Denpasar. With all the cultural potencies owned, in 2014 Denpasar governments proposed to join UNESCO creative city network as a 'Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art', where it can provide an opportunity for artist and crafters of Denpasar to introduce and interact with other creative city, notably in terms on how to develop local culture in globalization. This study contributes on evaluating strengths, weakness, challenges and opportunities as well as discovering efforts which should be obtained by Denpasar based on the criteria and characteristics served as a guide to join UNESCO creative cities network.

Observation, interviews, documentation and distribution of questionnaires were used as data collection methods in this study. Descriptive qualitative as well as quantitative data analysis on a Likert scale is used as a data analysis method. In this study, it is known that gastronomic tourism here meets the definition. In addition, tourists are also offered other activities that are not listed in the travel packages sold. Through this study, it is also seen that tourists who buy gastronomic packages from Bakas Village are satisfied with what they get.

Pada umumnya es krim terbuat dari susu sapi, dan kedelai namun dalam penelitian ini, peneliti tertarik untuk menggunakan susu kuda liar sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan Es krim. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menganalisa data tes organoleptik dan biaya produksi yang akan dinilai oleh 15 panelis. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas es krim berbahan dasar susu kuda liar mendapatkan respon dari segi rasa dengan kategori enak, dari segi aroma dengan kategori cukup harum, dari segi tekstur dengan kategori lembut, dari segi warna dengan kategori cukup menarik. This study was to determine the effect of brand awareness and e-service quality on consumer purch... more This study was to determine the effect of brand awareness and e-service quality on consumer purchasing decisions in booking hotel rooms in traveloka. The subject of this study amounted to 100 random people who had booked a hotel room through the Traveloka website. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using multiple linear regression to see the effect between variable brand awareness, e-service quality and purchasing decisions. The results of this study indicate that brand awareness and e-service quality have a significant effect of 67.1% on the variables of consumer purchasing decisions in hotel room bookings, on the traveloka website. The implication of this research is to see the contribution of the variables studied to be used as consumer decisions in making purchases on room sales services on the website, so marketing is important to know.

This study aims to determine the effect of the corporate sosial responsibility and independent co... more This study aims to determine the effect of the corporate sosial responsibility and independent commissioners on tax aggressiveness. This study are conducted on 130 firm-years manufacturing firms listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange during period of 2012 to 2016, selected based on purposive sampling method. Tax aggressiveness is proxy by ETR. Corporate social responsibility activities measured based on disclosures referring to Gobal Reporting Initiative (GRI) guideline. Independent commissioner is the proportion of independent commissioner in the board of commissioners. The results show that: 1) tax aggressiveness can be suppressed by the increasing activity of corporate social responsibility, 2) tax aggressiveness is not influenced by independent commissioners in the company.

Hotels, restaurants and bars sell numerous amounts of wines. In general perspectives, the image of wine is very close to elegance, relaxation, hedonism, hospitality and tourism. Wines are also have a good pairing with selected foods. Formerly, wines in Bali are very expensive since all wines were imported from major wine producing countries, e.g. France, Australia, USA, and many others. As there were a high demand and opportunities, wine industries in Bali develops since 1990s, however only few sustain due to challenges on legal regulation and economic fluctuation in Indonesia. As Bali still facing the challenges on dividing its tourism to all parts of Bali, not only in southern area, the idea to develop wine tourism could be one of the alternatives. Aims of this study are to identify the contribution of wine industry as the impact of tourism for the local community in North Bali through qualitative research, by interviewing the local community in North Bali and representatives from industries. Both sides are examined in order to conduct a sustainable wine tourism, notably on wine tourism with community involvement in Northern area of Bali. There are plentiful studies had taken previously, but none specifically observing the wines development in Bali and its contribution to the local community.

In 2004, UNESCO began to build and trigger the birth of a new creativity by developing concept of creative city network which is divided into several themes, such as design, music, literature, film, media art, gastronomy, crafts and folk art. In line with the concept of tourism and creative economy that is actively promoted by Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, several cities in Indonesia have been trying to join the network, one of them is Denpasar. With all the cultural potencies owned, in 2014 Denpasar governments proposed to join UNESCO creative city network as a 'Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art', where it can provide an opportunity for artist and crafters of Denpasar to introduce and interact with other creative city, notably in terms on how to develop local culture in globalization. This study contributes on evaluating strengths, weakness, challenges and opportunities as well as discovering efforts which should be obtained by Denpasar based on the criteria and characteristics served as a guide to join UNESCO creative cities network.

Observation, interviews, documentation and distribution of questionnaires were used as data collection methods in this study. Descriptive qualitative as well as quantitative data analysis on a Likert scale is used as a data analysis method. In this study, it is known that gastronomic tourism here meets the definition. In addition, tourists are also offered other activities that are not listed in the travel packages sold. Through this study, it is also seen that tourists who buy gastronomic packages from Bakas Village are satisfied with what they get.

Pada umumnya es krim terbuat dari susu sapi, dan kedelai namun dalam penelitian ini, peneliti tertarik untuk menggunakan susu kuda liar sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan Es krim. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menganalisa data tes organoleptik dan biaya produksi yang akan dinilai oleh 15 panelis. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas es krim berbahan dasar susu kuda liar mendapatkan respon dari segi rasa dengan kategori enak, dari segi aroma dengan kategori cukup harum, dari segi tekstur dengan kategori lembut, dari segi warna dengan kategori cukup menarik. The subject of this study amounted to 100 random people who had booked a hotel room through the Traveloka website. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using multiple linear regression to see the effect between variable brand awareness, e-service quality and purchasing decisions. The results of this study indicate that brand awareness and e-service quality have a significant effect of 67.1% on the variables of consumer purchasing decisions in hotel room bookings, on the traveloka website. The implication of this research is to see the contribution of the variables studied to be used as consumer decisions in making purchases on room sales services on the website, so marketing is important to know.

This study are conducted on 130 firm-years manufacturing firms listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange during period of 2012 to 2016, selected based on purposive sampling method. Tax aggressiveness is proxy by ETR. Corporate social responsibility activities measured based on disclosures referring to Gobal Reporting Initiative (GRI) guideline. Independent commissioner is the proportion of independent commissioner in the board of commissioners. The results show that: 1) tax aggressiveness can be suppressed by the increasing activity of corporate social responsibility, 2) tax aggressiveness is not influenced by independent commissioners in the company.

Hotels, restaurants and bars sell numerous amounts of wines. In general perspectives, the image of wine is very close to elegance, relaxation, hedonism, hospitality and tourism. Wines are also have a good pairing with selected foods. Formerly, wines in Bali are very expensive since all wines were imported from major wine producing countries, e.g. France, Australia, USA, and many others. As there were a high demand and opportunities, wine industries in Bali develops since 1990s, however only few sustain due to challenges on legal regulation and economic fluctuation in Indonesia. As Bali still facing the challenges on dividing its tourism to all parts of Bali, not only in southern area, the idea to develop wine tourism could be one of the alternatives. Aims of this study are to identify the contribution of wine industry as the impact of tourism for the local community in North Bali through qualitative research, by interviewing the local community in North Bali and representatives from industries. Both sides are examined in order to conduct a sustainable wine tourism, notably on wine tourism with community involvement in Northern area of Bali. There are plentiful studies had taken previously, but none specifically observing the wines development in Bali and its contribution to the local community.
