The presented theorem is an extension the results of M. Sarwar and M. U. Rahman [23] as well as a generalization of many well-known results in the literature through the context of b-metric spaces. Also, we present a few examples to illustrate the validity of the results obtained in the paper. Finally, results are applied to find the solution for an integral equation.

Finally, we give an example to illustrate our result.

Finally, we present an example to illustrate and support our results.

Our paper generalizes some fixed point theorems in literature [6, 13, 16, 18].

The solutions are defined by periodic functions. Some applications and numerical results are introduced to illustrate the idea of this technique.

This theorem extends the results of [17] and [49]. Examples are furnished to illustrate the validity of our results. We apply our theorem to establish the existence of common solutions of a system of two nonlinear integral equations and a system of two functional equations arising in dynamic programming.

In 2010, Khamsi and Hussain [4] reintroduced the notion of b-metric and called it a metric-type. Afterwards, several authors proved fixed and common fixed point theorems for single-valued mappings in b-metric spaces, see [5–16]. In this paper, we introduce the definition of C-class functions and (ψ, φ, F)-contraction type mappings where ψ is the altering distance function and φ is the ultra altering distance function. The unique fixed point theorem for self mapping in the setting of b-complete metric spaces is proven. In the end of paper, we apply our main result to approximating the solution of the Fredholm integral equation. In the sequel, we always denote by N, R, and R+ the set of positive integers, real numbers, and nonnegative real numbers, respectively. The following definitions...

In this paper, we present a new filled function for the smooth nonconvexe global optimization problem with only one parameter is proposed, which is continuously differentiable and proved to satisfy all conditions of the filled function definition.

Our Theorem 5 generalizes Theorem 1 of Khojasteh et al. (Abstr Appl. Anal. Doi: https://doi.org/10.1155/2014/325840, 2014), Theorem 2 of Rhoades (Gen Math Notes 27(2): 123–32, 2015) and Theorem 3 of Demma et al. (J Funct Spaces, Doi: https://doi.org/10.1155/2015/189861, 2015). Examples are provided to illustrate the validity of our results. Finally, we apply Theorem 5 to establish the existence of common solutions of Fredholm integral inclusions.
