Nature is a composite phenomenon of all the physically identifiable and visible objects. However,... more Nature is a composite phenomenon of all the physically identifiable and visible objects. However, there is an invisible nature which exists in human mind. The reflection of bodily existent things or matters or images appear in the mind which finally work as principle sources of basic knowledge in human thought processes. The mental state here is to be considered as the sky in a natural atmosphere. Thus, the human mind acts not only as a reservoir of memory function rather it also works like a camera which takes the picture of seen or perceived objects and stimulates the person to think, to contemplate or to enjoy or feel sorrow - confounding the criteria of the natural objects or images. This is why the types of elements or the shape of nature is important to form a child’s mind. Creative elements such as games, TV serials, books or other study materials, have more impact than the natural one which might divert a child from natural mental growth to a synthetic or superficial manifestation. In most of the cases these creative elements are designed and motivated by the subjective notion of the politicians - government officials or state organs to try to model their citizens. The paper, providing with the definition of natural and phenomenal objects, analyses the issues related to nature, mind, self, perception, individuals, society, and more specifically relations between the acquisition of child perception and the effect of creative and natural elements using primary and secondary sources of materials. Finally it will make a proposition for the responsible authorities in order to enable them to understand how to help the children and the youths to get appropriate atmosphere of achieving perfect knowledge.

Nevertheless, it can be said that the ancient Bengal was constituted of the East Bengal (present Bangladesh), West Bengal, Gowalpara and Kachar of Asam, Purnia, Manbhum, Singbhum of Bihar and Sawntal Pargana. In this connection Srimanta Kumar Zana referring to R. C. Majumdar observes: ‘different parts of the then Bengal were being introduced with different nomenclatures. The history of the development of Iranian languages from Old Persian to Avesta, Pahlavi and finally Persian goes back to time immemorial. Over this vast period, Iranian languages contributed a significant influence on South Asian languages. Lexicographic affinities and thematic likeness between the Avesta and the Rig-Veda suggest a prolonged cultural and literary relationship between Iran and the sub-continent. The constant traveling of the port cities in South Asia by the Iranian merchants and Sufis through sea-routes paved the way for development of the Persian language in the land since millennium BC. After the establishment of Muslim rule in Delhi, the Persian language begun to flourish in the region and gradually spread throughout the subcontinent. Urdu language developed mainly based on Persian. Bengal fell to Muslims in 1203 AD, which resulted in the replacement of the court language from Sanskrit to Persian. Muslim courts became a meeting place for both local and Iranian poets and intelligentsias during this period. The practice of Persian, Bengali, as well as Arabic as a religious language, begun to thrive promptly in the land. Many Sufis such as Nur Qutb-e Alam, Shaikh Sharafuddin Abu Tawwama contributed a lot in this process of development: the Bengali language and literature now received the full assistance of the Muslim rulers. The presence of more than 10000 Persian words in Bengali suggests a clear linguistic influence of Persian on the language. The proposed paper will attempt to elucidate the sequential developments of Persian language in the subcontinent and its impact on local vernacular languages.

It is obvious that the existing political thoughts need to be readdressed following recent develo... more It is obvious that the existing political thoughts need to be readdressed following recent developments in the socio-cultural and political arena of the contemporary world. The foundation of the contemporary political thoughts was laid upon the understanding of the secularist concept, which was based on the materialistic view of Western philosophy. The idea of individualism and Western liberalism was derived from the same fragment of modernism. The dilemma of Communism over the experience of the last century reached a frustrating outcome – political oppression and injustice, which played a significant role in the fall of Soviet Russia. The Capitalism based western democracy, nowadays, appeared to be a tool of changing or sharing power. These post-renaissance developments took place on the basis of the concept of secularism, ignoring completely the virtue of religious thoughts. Poverty, social injustice, inequality are a common phenomena of the contemporary world. At the outset of twenty first century, it is time for the researchers, politicians as well as philosophers to try to find a way forward for the cause of a real development of mankind. Hence, it would be convenient here to recall the thoughts of Ibn Rushd: ‘there is no incompatibility between religion and philosophy when both are properly understood. Regarding political philosophy, unlike Plato, he advocates a leading role in a state for philosophers. Imam Khomeini in his political thoughts has given utmost importance to the concept of Vilayāt-i faqīh, i.e. the Governance of Islamic Jurists, which is, to some extent, very close to Plato’s idea of philosopher king. Hence, I, with the confluence of the sayings by Ibn Rushd, would like to mention that, ‘there is no incompatibility between religion and philosophy as well as politics when they are properly understood.
This paper attempts to address the relevant issues incorporating works on Muslim political theory, the movements of modernism in contemporary Muslim world and considering the Qur’anic principles as well as the governance of the Islamic republic of Iran. The outcome of this paper will help us to make a bridge between the understanding of Islamic political thinkers and western or modern political thinkers.
Key words: thoughts, reconstruction, communism, vilayāt-i faqīh, liberalism

According to George Sarton Biruni was “one of the very greatest scientists of Islam, and, all considered, one of the greatest of all times.” A. I. Sabra, accordingly, describes Biruni as “one of the great scientific minds in all history.”
Biruni was born on 5 September 973 AD in Kath in the region of Khawarizm of what was then Iran (nowadays Uzbekistan) and died on 13th December 1048 AD in the city of Ghazni, the capital city of the Ghaznavid ruler. He was a visionary and highly renowned philosopher and scientist. He contributed to the fields of science, philosophy, history, literature, culture, religion and society. His generous views and extensive efforts contributed to the historical, philosophical, scientific and inter-cultural development of a world marked by intellectuality and humanism as well as coexistence and peace.
Abu Rayhan Biruni foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Millennium Demise Anniversary of Abu Rayhan Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Biruni (Al-Biruni 973 – 1048 AD) has taken into consideration the studies in the fields of science, philosophy, religion and literature under the following heads:

No doubt, he is a symbol of scientific, philosophical, cultural and social thoughts. According to George Sarton Biruni was “one of the very greatest scientists of Islam, and, all considered, one of the greatest of all times.” A. I. Sabra, accordingly, describes Biruni as “one of the great scientific minds in all history.”

Hence, the scientific committee of the conference announces the 5th Biruni (Al-Biruni) Interdisciplinary International Congress and hereby calls for informative academic research papers by scholars at home and abroad. The contribution of Muslims to science, philosophy, religion and literature is a universal truth. The rise of Islam with the verses of the Holy Qur’an and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) venerates the development of the Arabic literary tradition. Hence, the traditions of commentary, Hadith, jurisprudence, history have emerged significantly during the early period of Islam.
Even, after a thousand years of the demise of Biruni, peace be upon him, he appears as a beacon for the backward Muslims in the world. Today it is necessary for us to make a confluence with the maxim of Allameh Iqbal: “So what to do, O people of the East?” I hope that “The Fifth Biruni Interdisciplinary World Congress” which has coincided with the Millennium death anniversary of Biruni, will provide answers to these questions ; and remains as like as a perpetually glowing torch in the sky, beaming light into the hearts of the contemporary youths who pay special attention to the prosperity of the past.
The conference will be interdisciplinary in nature and provide an opportunity for writers, scholars and academics to present their scholarly articles and recommendations.
