This study analyses Tokyo metropolitan train customers' response to a foreigner's request for hel... more This study analyses Tokyo metropolitan train customers' response to a foreigner's request for help, analyses the motives of the response relates to Japanese culture, and finally analyses the influence of metropolitan life on local consumers hospitality relating to their response for a small help from foreigners. The research uses a qualitative approach. As many as 25 people (informants) at several points of the city of Tokyo accidentally were asked for a small help to support a foreigner to guide or at least to give information on directions, such as the name of places, stations, train directions and building/offices. Data collection was conducted in the Metropolitan Tokyo area from 1 December to 5 December 2015. For data analysis purposes, expert interviews had also been conducted with 2 Japanese who stay temporarily in Jakarta and 2 Indonesian who have lived in Japan. Results of the study indicated that most people (23 out of 25) responded positively to a foreigner's request for help. The study indicates that train customers in metropolitan Tokyo are helpful and friendly to foreigners, despite their busy and tight schedules. Hospitality value is embedded in Japanese culture.

The research population is local tourists who visit several tourist places in sustainable tourism places, and the samples taken as many as 440 tourists. Data was collected by online and offline surveys with the distribution of self-administered questionnaires. The findings of the study are that digital marketing has a positive and significant influence on customer engagement. This can be used to increase awareness of the use of technology and make maximum use of it to realize a digital-based tourism village. The population in this study is the people in Tangerang City who are at least 17 years old and kn... more The population in this study is the people in Tangerang City who are at least 17 years old and know about smartphone products. The sample was taken by 150 respondents using purposive sampling. The data were obtained through questionnaires on the Likert scale 1-5, which has been widely used as an interval scale. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Square with the Smart PLS-3 software application program. From the results of this study can be concluded that: First, there is a positive and significant influence between eWOM on Brand Image with a value of 30,399 > 1.96 Second, there is a positive and significant influence between eWOM on Buy Interest with a value of 2,788 > 1.96. Third, there is a positive and significant influence between eWOM on Brand Trust with a value of 10,238 > 1.96. Fourth, there is a positive and significant influence between Brand Image on Buy Interest with a value of 4,896 > 1.96. Fifth, there is a positive and significant influence between Brand Trust on Buy Interest with a value of 2,774 > 1.96. Sixth, there is a positive and significant influence between eWOM on Buy Interest through Brand Image with a Sobel test statistic of 4,718 > 1.96. Seventh, there is a positive and significant influence between eWOM on Buy Interest through Brand Trust with a Sobel test statistic of 2,247 > 1.96.

Saat ini banyak UKM yang menjual produk yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan saat berpergian pada masa normal baru dengan menggunakan teknologi digital printing salah satunya UKM Omorfa Matia. Tulisan ini membahas dari perancangan produk yang berupa satu rangkaian koleksi terdiri dari tote bag, masker, face shield, strap, dan tempat hand sanitizer untuk UKM Omorfa Matia. Perancangan ini melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu tahapan penelitian awal yang meliputi kegiatan pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber. Data lapangan dianalisis menggunakan analisa SWOT, Space Matriks, IFAS EFAS, BCG, Benchmark Wheel, untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi yang akan dijadikan konsep desain yang sesuai kebutuhan pasar. Pengembangan konsep dilakukan dengan Metode Scamper. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah produk tote bag, masker, face shield, strap, dan tempat handsanitizer tas yang inovatif berbahan printing canvas yang dapat digunakan untuk berpergian ke luar rumah. With total population of 1.6 Billion or 23% from total world population Muslim market is very lucrative and has to be treated in accordance with Muslim belief and way of life. Halal tourism becomes a must have in the industry to accommodate Muslim tourists. Hotel plays an important role in the growing halal tourism industry. The Success of tourist visit often depends on how acceptable is the hotel where they are staying with Muslim norms and facilities to conduct ibadah (worship) such as Sala (praying). Muslim tourists generally concern if hotel is Muslim friendly and could accommodate their halal life style. Some of the need of Muslim visitors during their stay are: the hotel provides a sign of Ka'bah direction, mat for praying, facility for ablution, wet toilet (water instead of tissue) in toilet, staff wearing modest dress, no pork on food, no alcohol, relevant music with Islamic atmosphere, no adultery entertainment, etc. therefore, it's far beyond halal food, but also not least to mention the segregation of public facilities for female and male as for majority of Moslem halal is a life style, including during travel.
