Penelitian ini bertujuan meneliti hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan efikasi diri dengan presta... more Penelitian ini bertujuan meneliti hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan efikasi diri dengan prestasi belajar. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa/i kelas XI SMA Santo Thomas-3 Medan. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kemudian diketahui berjumlah 100 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosi, skala efikasi diri, dan analisis dokumentasi terhadap Daftar Kumpulan Nilai (DKN) untuk melihat prestasi belajar siswa. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji statistik korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama, ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan efikasi diri dengan prestasi belajar pada siswa siswa/i SMA Santo Thomas-3 Medan. Selain itu, didapat informasi bahwa efikasi diri siswa/i SMA Santo Thomas-3 Medan tergolong baik dan kecerdasan emosional mereka pun tergolong tinggi.

Anak enuresis memiliki harga diri lebih rendah dibandingkan anak-anak yang lain. Penelitian Dryde... more Anak enuresis memiliki harga diri lebih rendah dibandingkan anak-anak yang lain. Penelitian Dryden (2006) menunjukkan adanya kaitan antara harga diri dan irrational thought yang dapat diatasi dengan rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas REBT dalam meningkatkan harga diri anak enuresis. Desain penelitian ini adalah desain eksperimental before-after study. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 3 orang anak enuresis yang berada pada usia 7-12 tahun. Peneliti memberikan skala harga diri sebelum terapi dilakukan (pre-test) dan setelah terapi (post-test). Untuk membandingkan skor subjek pada pre-test dan posttest, data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa setiap subjek menunjukkan perubahaan tingkatan harga diri. Secara umum rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) efektif dapat meningkatkan harga diri pada anak enuresis.

The arrangement of good behavior through the provision of healthy lifestyle modules to patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy should be supported with high motivation. The study aims to find out the effect of providing healthy lifestyle modules and motivation to improve the quality of life of patients. This study is an experimental quasi-research with a 2x2 factorial design involving a sample of 30 chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy at Rumah Sakit Khusus Ginjal Rasyida Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Through the analysis of multiple linear regression analysis, the results showed a significant influence between the provision of healthy lifestyle modules on improving quality of life. Other findings suggest differences in quality of life between patients with high motivation levels and low-motivated patients. This study proposes further studies to examine the effectiveness of modules and improve quality of life against different patient cultural backgrounds.

Subjek penelitian berjumlah 96 orang siswa SMPSwasta Budi Agung Medan, dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel r andom s ampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku bullying siswa SMP, terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara iklim sekolah dengan perilaku bullying siswa SMP, serta terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dan iklim sekolah dengan perilaku bullying siswa SMP. Hasil ini ditunjukkan dengan F= 58,797 dan p < 0,05. AMT (Anger Management Training) in this research was a psychoeducation, in which students learned about the basic understanding about angry, anger expression and its consequences, identifying their own feelings when angry, controlling their angry thoughts and determining the level of anger. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dan regulasi diri dala... more Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dan regulasi diri dalam belajar dnegan prestasi akademik. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa-mahasiswi Sekolah Tinggi Theologia HKBP P. Siantar sejumlah 70 orang yang diambil secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara efikasi diri dan regulasi diri dalam belajar, ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan prestasi akademik, dan ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara regulasi diri dalam belajar dengan prestasi akademik. Total hubungan variabel efikasi diri dan regulasi diri dalam belajar dalam penelitian ini dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa adalah sebesar 89,1 %. Dari hasil ini maka diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 10,9 % pengaruh dari faktor lain terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa di STT-HKBP P. Siantar.

The results showed that a respondent I became a single mother for the death and respondent II for divorce. Aspect Control which is owned by a single mother in the respondents I tried to solve the financial problems intelligently and to belief in God, the respondent II resolve everything concerning the future of herself and the children. Commitment of the respondents have in common is: trying to forget her husband and live a life of its own and think about the future of children. Children with enuresis problem have lower self-esteem compared with normal children Riset Dryden ... more Children with enuresis problem have lower self-esteem compared with normal children Riset Dryden (2006) believes there is a correlation between self-esteem and irrational thinking that can be handling with rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). The aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of REBT to increase the self-esteem of enuresis children. In this research, the experimental design is applied by means of before-after study. The subjects are three enuresis children whose age-range is from 7-12 years old. The researcher measured the level of self-esteem before and after intervention. The data analyzed using statistic, Wilcoxon test, to compare the pretest and postest subjects scores. The result shown difference between before and after REBT, subjects increasing their self-esteem. In general, rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) effective to enhance the self esteem of children with enuresis.

The population of this research was students of class X, XI and XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Tebing Tinggi. The sample was 103 students were take by stratified random sampling technique. This study used secure attachment scale, autonomy scale, and achievement motivation scale. Double regression analysis showed FCOUNT 33, 482 with p = 0,000 (p0,005). The result indicate that there was significant correlation between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement. The population in this study were adolescent drug addicts in Medan Plus Addiction Recovery Clinic. A sample of 54 teenagers were taken by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a scale of self-determination, the scale of the role of fathers and the scale of peer social support. The results of multiple regression analysis showed a Freg value of 11,071 with p = 0,000 (p 0,005), which indicated that there was a significant relationship between self-determination and the role of fathers with peer social support.
