Lately, mobile device has become a convenient platform for augmented reality (AR). Day by days, m... more Lately, mobile device has become a convenient platform for augmented reality (AR). Day by days, mobile devices are getting popular as a platform for AR application such as a Smartphone. Mobile AR (MAR) is mainly available whenever people require an informational support for a focused task. However, only a limited number of researches are avalaible in the mobile augmented reality application. The objective of this study is to determine what are the important elements that need to be considered when designing animated info graphic MAR application for heritage content. 300 samples have been distributed to the higher learning education students and lecturers with the return rate of 66.67%. The findings of the research show that the most important elements are color, slightly changes in text, touch screen, graphic user interface, dynamic picture and also static picture. This paper also highlight the reliability test of the research instrument where the result indicate that it is stable and reliable to use in conducting the survey. Through the findings, private companies, government institutions or multimedia developer would be able to identify important elements when designing mobile augmented reality application appropriately and effectively.

This study examined the factors that influence students' learning for machine industry courses in... more This study examined the factors that influence students' learning for machine industry courses in Malaysian Southern Region Vocational Colleges. The factors that have been studied were the students' interest, parental involvement and teachers teaching. This study used the survey design method involving 90 randomly selected 4 th year students from three Vocational Colleges as respondents. Primary data were obtained using questionnaires (Cronbach Alpa = .85) and secondary data were based on students' academic performance test result. The data were analysed with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to get the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results showed that there was a medium level of influence between students' achievement and students' interest, parental involvement and teachers teaching. For student interest factor, students who have good achievement in some subjects were those who have an interest in the subject. In addition, the involvement of parents helping in students' assignment at home will help them to improve their achievement in school. Next, in the process of teaching, the teacher must inflict the interest of student learning, guiding them in an effective learning way, provide teaching materials and improve their mastery skills. Some suggestions to overcome the challenges identified in this study were also presented at the end of the study.

Warisan tidak ketara ini terdedah dengan ancaman kepupusan terhadap perubahan zaman danditambah dengan kekurangan sokongan, penghargaan dan kesedaran di kalangan masyarakat kini.Bagi memperkukuhkan dan memupuk penghayatan yang utuh kepada budaya warisan, pelbagai usahadiambil untuk melindungi warisan dengan memelihara dan mendokumentasikan produk warisan ketaraatau tidak ketara seperti tapak warisan, monumen, artifak, tradisi lisan, nilai adat dan nilai budaya. Secarakeseluruhan, tujuan utama artikel ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti perlindungan yang dilaksanakan olehkerajaan dalam memartabatkan warisan Mak Yong dan menghuraikan evolusi pendokumentasian senipersembahan Mak Yong agensi yang terlibat. Hasil daripada penyelidikan ini, kajian mendapati bahawamaklumat warisan ini masih lagi tidak lengkap dan terdapat beberapa aspek maklumat penting yangmasih tidak didokumenkan untuk rujukan generasi akan datang. United Nations Educational, Scientifi c, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recognized Mak Yong’sTheater Performing Art as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity bySeptember 2005. This intangible legacy is exposed to the threat of extinction over the changing timesand coupled with the lack of support, appreciation, and recognition in among society now. In order tostrengthen and nurture intact behavior in heritage culture, various eff orts are necessitated to protect theheritage by preserving and documenting tangible or intangible heritage products such as heritage sites,monuments, artifacts, oral traditions, custom values and cultural values. Overall, the main purpose ofthis article is to discover the protection initiated by the government in upholding Mak Yong’s legacy andelaborating on the evolution of the Mak Yong presentation artworks involved. As a result of this research,investigations have determined that this legacy information is still fragmentary and there are someimportant aspects of valuable information that are still undocumented for future generation’s references

Teaching traditionally through the use of textbooks and lecture makes the decline in learning des... more Teaching traditionally through the use of textbooks and lecture makes the decline in learning desirability among technical & vocational education and training (TVET) students. In the 21 st century learning, the technology changes in learning such as e-learning have led to the use of technology in the field of TVET. Most TVET educators have started using the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) as a learning medium. The purpose of this study to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for TVET students in higher education. Teaching and learning in TVET lack of using blended learning approach. This study examine students' acceptance and specify the criteria that make Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) suitable for TVET in learning environment. The respondent are 60 students randomly selected from Creativity and Innovation courses. This study employed the quantitative methodology which include the use of questionnaire with Likert scale. The questionnaire consist four construct to examine the criteria of MOOC for teaching and learning in TVET. The reliability test of Cronbach Alpha is 0.813. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The findings show that the constructs of perceived of usefulness (mean=1.85), perceived ease of use (mean=1.90), user attitude toward use (mean=1.86) and actual system use (mean=1.83) towards the acceptance of MOOC in teaching and learning among TVET students. In general, these finding also showed positive respond to implement MOOC for TVET in higher education. Thus, in making the learning process more interesting, the educators should improving existing teaching style.

Pembelajaran ini adalah berorientasikan kepada pelajar. Pelajar akan diberi peluang untuk merancang dan seterusnya membangunkan projek yang dirancang. Perlaksanaan projek akan dipantau oleh pensyarah yang bertindak sebagai fasilitator. Bagi memperkasakan lagi konsep pembelajaran berasaskan studio ini, maka unsur-unsur kemahiran insaniah perlu dipertingkatkan. Melalui kaedah pembelajaran di abad ke 21 ini, ciri-ciri keusahawanan seperti kemahiran berkomunikasi, kemahiran merancang, kemahiran bekerja dalam kumpulan serta sifat-sifat keusahawanan seperti cekal, rajin, kuat bekerja, amanah, kuat berusaha dan sebagainya perlu diterapkan dalam diri setiap pelajar. Melalui gabungan antara ciri-ciri kemahiran insaniah dan ciri-ciri keusahawanan ini, maka satu kaedah pembelajaran berasaskan studio dan berorientasikan pelajar telah dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan kepada kajian yang dijalankan, adalah didapati bahawa kaedah pembelajaran berasaskan usahawan ini telah berupaya meningkatkan tahap kemahiran insaniah pelajar serta memotivasikan pelajar.

With the spirit of maker movement which emphasizes sharing, collaboration and making as the vital core of its operation while the online components of makerspace are the platform for design collaboration and innovation dissemination during the global pandemic and the future globalization of innovation. Due to the establishment and the technological advancement of the digital fabrication and open-source hardware and software which is available to the masses, online learning has been the main drive which shapes the way the online makerspace platform operationalize. While there are a lot of articles and research has been done on the sustainability and mechanism of the physical makerspace environment, there are lack of articles discussing the sustainability of the online components of makerspace. The objective of this paper is to review the operation of the online makerspace upon disseminating innovation and ideas. This concept paper will highlight the power of online makerspace upon disseminating ideas and innovation to further stimulating another innovation. Background of the study: Documentation is an imperative initiative in safeguarding Intangible Cul... more Background of the study: Documentation is an imperative initiative in safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) to consolidate and nurture appreciation that is intact to culture and heritage within a society. However, many countries in the world still give less attention to documenting heritage systematically. Purpose: This study aims to achieve a greater exposure of Institutional Memory's in Malaysia play a role in preserving and conserving heritage information on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) through the documentation strategy of Mak Yong's performing art collection. Method: This study adopted a case study approach by pertaining qualitative research method. Qualitative data were gathered through content analyses towards 521 of Mak Yong's performing art collection were carried out in three (3) Malaysia Institutional Memory. Findings: The study found that the lack of Mak Yong's collection in institutional memories is contributed to some elements that require detailed documentation such as characters, spectacle, diction, and sound. Conclusion: safeguarding of ICH through preservation and conservation of Mak Yong's information collection that still needs to be improved by considering the consolidation of integrated institutional memory's roles and ongoing implementation of documentation strategy program of heritage information.

One of the most fundamental meanings of being a human being is to make something. Maker movement ... more One of the most fundamental meanings of being a human being is to make something. Maker movement which originated from the DIY movement as its name suggests is a unique combination of making things from artistry, form making, circuitry and craftsmanship and it is somehow related to the discipline of industrial design where creativity plays a more prominent role alongside with aesthetics, functionality and technological advancement in designing a creative and innovative product. Maker movement has built an extensive network by motivating and sustaining communities of builders, crafters and makers. By celebrating the arts, craft and engineering, it often consists of hobbyist, tinkerer, hacker, designer and artist who build an object or product in a playful and useful way. On the other hands, it reveals a unique set of values which emphasize on open sharing, learning and creativity over profit and also social capital. As a result of that, new ways of teaching and learning has emerged, which is the makerspace learning environment. There is a growing interest of an educator to adapt this kind of learning environment setting upon fostering creativity among students. Maker possessed of what we called a maker mindset which encompassed four aspects which are playful, growth-oriented, failure positive and collaborative. In this review paper, we will present the potential of makerspace as a learning environment that can cultivate the maker mindset for industrial design students and the potential adoption of its methodology to groom the student of industrial design to become more creative and innovative and its challenge. The expected outcome of this paper is to give insights to the reader and industrial design educator about the potential of makerspace learning environment upon cultivating the maker mindsets for industrial design students who are a vital aspect in promoting creativity among industrial design student to face the challenges in the 21st-century design world.

The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which home context, classroom context and s... more The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which home context, classroom context and school context influence students' science achievement in Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2011. This study involved a total of 5733 respondents from 180 secondary schools in Malaysia based on TIMSS 2011 data. Random sampling using two stage stratified cluster sampling technique was done in selecting the sample. This study also proposes a model containing two exogenous constructs which are parental involvement and school discipline as well as two endogenous constructs which are attitudes towards science and science achievement. This study used structural equation modeling (SEM) technique to test the direct model, indirect model and to determine the strength of the relationship between one variable with another variable. The findings showed that parental involvement has a direct effect on students' attitudes toward science and students' science achievement while the student attitudes towards science have a negative relationship towards students' science achievement.

Penggunaan kaedah yang semakin maju dan moden perlu dipelajari oleh guru-guru agar pelajar tidak ketinggalan terutama dari segi pengajaran menggunakan kaedah yang lebih moden. Kajian ini adalah untuk melihat tahap penerimaan guru sejarah terhadap penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam penyampaian subjek sejarah. Kajian ini memfokuskan kepada guru-guru matapelajaran sejarah di 15 buah sekolah menengah negeri Kelantan yang mana mewakili kawasan luar bandar dan bandar. Kaedah kuantitatif digunakan untuk melihat tahap keperluan guru terhadap penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam penyampaian subjek sejarah. Hasil kajian telah direkodkan dan mendapati tahap penerimaan guru terhadap penyampaian subjek sejarah menggunakan medium pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi mobile adalah tinggi.

The challenges arise on preparing the individuals to meet with the current business and the students need to be prepared in such way satisfied the business expectations. Looking into this situation, this paper aims to study the concept of correlation between active learning and employability skills in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The study assumes that there is positive relationship between employability skills and active learning in improving student's quality. The method of study involves documentation analysis on previous research to prove the importance of employability skills enhancing student's quality and the effectiveness of active learning; Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in preparing the students to meet the expectations. The main findings of this study claimed that there was a positive relationship between employability skills and PBL method. Result acknowledge that PBL has the solutions to help students develop employability skills and behavior. As all ideas and suggestion in this paper was cited as the understanding from previous study findings and arise from the reviews of expertise. The recommendation on future study is crucial to justify deeply the effectiveness of this correlational concept by performing experimental study to provide a concrete evidence towards this understanding.

Salah satu daripada kaedah yang boleh digunakan dalam menentukan konsep rekabentuk yang paling sesuai adalah proses penambahbaikan kerusi sofa yang sediada dan menerapkan beberapa kaedah yang berkaitan ke dalam struktur pembangunan rekabentuk sofa ergonomik melalui persepsi pengguna. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, suatu kaji selidik responden melibatkan 30 orang pengguna dilakukan untuk mendapat maklumbalas awal terhadap rekabentuk sofa yang terdapat dipasaran dan biasa digunakan dikalangan pegawai-pegawai kerajaan dan swasta. Soalan kaji selidik menitik beratkan kepada konsep sofa, ciri-ciri am sofa, asas pemilihan struktur, asas pemilihan warna, dan asas anggaran harga. Seterusnya, keperluan ini akan dikenalpasti mengikut keutamaan dan diterjemahkan kedalam pembangunan rekabentuk sofa ergonomik dengan menerapkan data antropometrik dalam pembangunan tersebut. Berdasarkan keputusan data analisis menunjukkan rekabentuk konsep sofa ergonomik telah mempengaruhi kesan fizikal kepada manusia. Kaji selidik ini amat penting dalam melihat persepsi pengguna selain dapat mengkaji penerapan unsur-unsur sains fizikal kedalam proses rekabentuk konsep sofa ergonomik. Kajian ini memberi satu implikasi yang besar dalam pembangunan rekabentuk konsep sofa ergonomik bagi meningkatkan mutu produktiviti dalam industri perabut di Malaysia.

Unfortunately, Mak Yong was declared as an irrelevant form of performing art due to the prohibiti... more Unfortunately, Mak Yong was declared as an irrelevant form of performing art due to the prohibition in the year 1991 since the Islamic Party of Malaysia (PAS) took control of the state and views it as being non-compliant to Islamic teachings. To consolidate and nurture appreciation for the culture and heritage within a society, various efforts have been undertaken to protect it by collecting and documenting cultural heritage especially in the manifestation of intangible cultural value. Thus, this study explores the documentation strategy approach obtainable in cultural heritage institutions on preserving and safeguarding ICH collections. A pure qualitative methodological approach was used by employing a case study design, semi-structured interviews were conducted to examine the aperture on the implementation of documenting ICH collection in the National Archives, National Museum, and the National Library of Malaysia.

Dengan perkembangan pembelajaran yang semakin popular pada masa kini, Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) sering digunakan oleh pelajar sebagai medium pembelajaran. Kajian ini merupakan satu tinjauan untuk mengenalpasti potensi aplikasi MOOC yang dibina dalam meningkatkan literasi terhadap pembelajaran gaya MOOC, menarik minat pelajar dalam pembelajaran dan membantu pelajar meningkatkan motivasi mereka dalam pembelajaran. MOOC yang dibina adalah bagi mata pelajaran Teknologi Kimpalan berdasarkan sukatan pelajaran kolej vokasional (KV). Populasi kajian melibatkan 111 orang pelajar Teknologi Kimpalan di KV Batu Pahat, Malaysia. Kaedah persampelan yang digunakan ialah persampelan bertujuan yang mana kajian terdiri daripada pelajar Tahun 1 Program Teknologi Kimpalan seramai 32 pelajar. Instrumen yang digunakan berbentuk borang soal selidik untuk mendapatkan maklumat. Data yang diperolehi dikumpul dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 20.0. Berdasarkan analisis yang dibuat, nilai kebolehpercayaan instrumen adalah 0.91 dan menunjukkan kebolehpercayaan instrumen berada pada tahap tinggi. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa penggunaan MOOC dapat meningkatkan daya literasi terhadap MOOC (3.33), motivasi (3.35) dan minat pelajar (3.30), seterusnya menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menarik disamping dapat menambah baik alat bahan bantu mengajar (ABBM) yang sedia ada. Warisan tidak ketara ini terdedah dengan ancaman kepupusan terhadap perubahan zaman danditambah dengan kekurangan sokongan, penghargaan dan kesedaran di kalangan masyarakat kini.Bagi memperkukuhkan dan memupuk penghayatan yang utuh kepada budaya warisan, pelbagai usahadiambil untuk melindungi warisan dengan memelihara dan mendokumentasikan produk warisan ketaraatau tidak ketara seperti tapak warisan, monumen, artifak, tradisi lisan, nilai adat dan nilai budaya. Secarakeseluruhan, tujuan utama artikel ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti perlindungan yang dilaksanakan olehkerajaan dalam memartabatkan warisan Mak Yong dan menghuraikan evolusi pendokumentasian senipersembahan Mak Yong agensi yang terlibat. Hasil daripada penyelidikan ini, kajian mendapati bahawamaklumat warisan ini masih lagi tidak lengkap dan terdapat beberapa aspek maklumat penting yangmasih tidak didokumenkan untuk rujukan generasi akan datang. United Nations Educational, Scientifi c, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recognized Mak Yong’sTheater Performing Art as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity bySeptember 2005. This intangible legacy is exposed to the threat of extinction over the changing timesand coupled with the lack of support, appreciation, and recognition in among society now. In order tostrengthen and nurture intact behavior in heritage culture, various eff orts are necessitated to protect theheritage by preserving and documenting tangible or intangible heritage products such as heritage sites,monuments, artifacts, oral traditions, custom values and cultural values. Overall, the main purpose ofthis article is to discover the protection initiated by the government in upholding Mak Yong’s legacy andelaborating on the evolution of the Mak Yong presentation artworks involved. In the 21 st century learning, the technology changes in learning such as e-learning have led to the use of technology in the field of TVET. Most TVET educators have started using the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) as a learning medium. The purpose of this study to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for TVET students in higher education. Teaching and learning in TVET lack of using blended learning approach. This study examine students' acceptance and specify the criteria that make Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) suitable for TVET in learning environment. The respondent are 60 students randomly selected from Creativity and Innovation courses. This study employed the quantitative methodology which include the use of questionnaire with Likert scale. The questionnaire consist four construct to examine the criteria of MOOC for teaching and learning in TVET. The reliability test of Cronbach Alpha is 0.813. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The findings show that the constructs of perceived of usefulness (mean=1.85), perceived ease of use (mean=1.90), user attitude toward use (mean=1.86) and actual system use (mean=1.83) towards the acceptance of MOOC in teaching and learning among TVET students. In general, these finding also showed positive respond to implement MOOC for TVET in higher education. Thus, in making the learning process more interesting, the educators should improving existing teaching style.

Pembelajaran ini adalah berorientasikan kepada pelajar. Pelajar akan diberi peluang untuk merancang dan seterusnya membangunkan projek yang dirancang. Perlaksanaan projek akan dipantau oleh pensyarah yang bertindak sebagai fasilitator. Bagi memperkasakan lagi konsep pembelajaran berasaskan studio ini, maka unsur-unsur kemahiran insaniah perlu dipertingkatkan. Melalui kaedah pembelajaran di abad ke 21 ini, ciri-ciri keusahawanan seperti kemahiran berkomunikasi, kemahiran merancang, kemahiran bekerja dalam kumpulan serta sifat-sifat keusahawanan seperti cekal, rajin, kuat bekerja, amanah, kuat berusaha dan sebagainya perlu diterapkan dalam diri setiap pelajar. Melalui gabungan antara ciri-ciri kemahiran insaniah dan ciri-ciri keusahawanan ini, maka satu kaedah pembelajaran berasaskan studio dan berorientasikan pelajar telah dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan kepada kajian yang dijalankan, adalah didapati bahawa kaedah pembelajaran berasaskan usahawan ini telah berupaya meningkatkan tahap kemahiran insaniah pelajar serta memotivasikan pelajar.

With the spirit of maker movement which emphasizes sharing, collaboration and making as the vital core of its operation while the online components of makerspace are the platform for design collaboration and innovation dissemination during the global pandemic and the future globalization of innovation. Due to the establishment and the technological advancement of the digital fabrication and open-source hardware and software which is available to the masses, online learning has been the main drive which shapes the way the online makerspace platform operationalize. While there are a lot of articles and research has been done on the sustainability and mechanism of the physical makerspace environment, there are lack of articles discussing the sustainability of the online components of makerspace. The objective of this paper is to review the operation of the online makerspace upon disseminating innovation and ideas. This concept paper will highlight the power of online makerspace upon disseminating ideas and innovation to further stimulating another innovation. Background of the study: Documentation is an imperative initiative in safeguarding Intangible Cul... more Background of the study: Documentation is an imperative initiative in safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) to consolidate and nurture appreciation that is intact to culture and heritage within a society. However, many countries in the world still give less attention to documenting heritage systematically. Purpose: This study aims to achieve a greater exposure of Institutional Memory's in Malaysia play a role in preserving and conserving heritage information on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) through the documentation strategy of Mak Yong's performing art collection. Method: This study adopted a case study approach by pertaining qualitative research method. Qualitative data were gathered through content analyses towards 521 of Mak Yong's performing art collection were carried out in three (3) Malaysia Institutional Memory. Findings: The study found that the lack of Mak Yong's collection in institutional memories is contributed to some elements that require detailed documentation such as characters, spectacle, diction, and sound. Conclusion: safeguarding of ICH through preservation and conservation of Mak Yong's information collection that still needs to be improved by considering the consolidation of integrated institutional memory's roles and ongoing implementation of documentation strategy program of heritage information.

Maker movement which originated from the DIY movement as its name suggests is a unique combination of making things from artistry, form making, circuitry and craftsmanship and it is somehow related to the discipline of industrial design where creativity plays a more prominent role alongside with aesthetics, functionality and technological advancement in designing a creative and innovative product. Maker movement has built an extensive network by motivating and sustaining communities of builders, crafters and makers. By celebrating the arts, craft and engineering, it often consists of hobbyist, tinkerer, hacker, designer and artist who build an object or product in a playful and useful way. On the other hands, it reveals a unique set of values which emphasize on open sharing, learning and creativity over profit and also social capital. As a result of that, new ways of teaching and learning has emerged, which is the makerspace learning environment. There is a growing interest of an educator to adapt this kind of learning environment setting upon fostering creativity among students. Maker possessed of what we called a maker mindset which encompassed four aspects which are playful, growth-oriented, failure positive and collaborative. In this review paper, we will present the potential of makerspace as a learning environment that can cultivate the maker mindset for industrial design students and the potential adoption of its methodology to groom the student of industrial design to become more creative and innovative and its challenge. The expected outcome of this paper is to give insights to the reader and industrial design educator about the potential of makerspace learning environment upon cultivating the maker mindsets for industrial design students who are a vital aspect in promoting creativity among industrial design student to face the challenges in the 21st-century design world.

The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which home context, classroom context and s... more The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which home context, classroom context and school context influence students' science achievement in Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2011. This study involved a total of 5733 respondents from 180 secondary schools in Malaysia based on TIMSS 2011 data. Random sampling using two stage stratified cluster sampling technique was done in selecting the sample. This study also proposes a model containing two exogenous constructs which are parental involvement and school discipline as well as two endogenous constructs which are attitudes towards science and science achievement. This study used structural equation modeling (SEM) technique to test the direct model, indirect model and to determine the strength of the relationship between one variable with another variable. The findings showed that parental involvement has a direct effect on students' attitudes toward science and students' science achievement while the student attitudes towards science have a negative relationship towards students' science achievement.

Penggunaan kaedah yang semakin maju dan moden perlu dipelajari oleh guru-guru agar pelajar tidak ketinggalan terutama dari segi pengajaran menggunakan kaedah yang lebih moden. Kajian ini adalah untuk melihat tahap penerimaan guru sejarah terhadap penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam penyampaian subjek sejarah. Kajian ini memfokuskan kepada guru-guru matapelajaran sejarah di 15 buah sekolah menengah negeri Kelantan yang mana mewakili kawasan luar bandar dan bandar. Kaedah kuantitatif digunakan untuk melihat tahap keperluan guru terhadap penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam penyampaian subjek sejarah. Hasil kajian telah direkodkan dan mendapati tahap penerimaan guru terhadap penyampaian subjek sejarah menggunakan medium pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi mobile adalah tinggi.

The challenges arise on preparing the individuals to meet with the current business and the students need to be prepared in such way satisfied the business expectations. Looking into this situation, this paper aims to study the concept of correlation between active learning and employability skills in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The study assumes that there is positive relationship between employability skills and active learning in improving student's quality. The method of study involves documentation analysis on previous research to prove the importance of employability skills enhancing student's quality and the effectiveness of active learning; Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in preparing the students to meet the expectations. The main findings of this study claimed that there was a positive relationship between employability skills and PBL method. Result acknowledge that PBL has the solutions to help students develop employability skills and behavior. As all ideas and suggestion in this paper was cited as the understanding from previous study findings and arise from the reviews of expertise. The recommendation on future study is crucial to justify deeply the effectiveness of this correlational concept by performing experimental study to provide a concrete evidence towards this understanding.

Salah satu daripada kaedah yang boleh digunakan dalam menentukan konsep rekabentuk yang paling sesuai adalah proses penambahbaikan kerusi sofa yang sediada dan menerapkan beberapa kaedah yang berkaitan ke dalam struktur pembangunan rekabentuk sofa ergonomik melalui persepsi pengguna. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, suatu kaji selidik responden melibatkan 30 orang pengguna dilakukan untuk mendapat maklumbalas awal terhadap rekabentuk sofa yang terdapat dipasaran dan biasa digunakan dikalangan pegawai-pegawai kerajaan dan swasta. Soalan kaji selidik menitik beratkan kepada konsep sofa, ciri-ciri am sofa, asas pemilihan struktur, asas pemilihan warna, dan asas anggaran harga. Seterusnya, keperluan ini akan dikenalpasti mengikut keutamaan dan diterjemahkan kedalam pembangunan rekabentuk sofa ergonomik dengan menerapkan data antropometrik dalam pembangunan tersebut. Berdasarkan keputusan data analisis menunjukkan rekabentuk konsep sofa ergonomik telah mempengaruhi kesan fizikal kepada manusia. Kaji selidik ini amat penting dalam melihat persepsi pengguna selain dapat mengkaji penerapan unsur-unsur sains fizikal kedalam proses rekabentuk konsep sofa ergonomik. Kajian ini memberi satu implikasi yang besar dalam pembangunan rekabentuk konsep sofa ergonomik bagi meningkatkan mutu produktiviti dalam industri perabut di Malaysia.

To consolidate and nurture appreciation for the culture and heritage within a society, various efforts have been undertaken to protect it by collecting and documenting cultural heritage especially in the manifestation of intangible cultural value. Thus, this study explores the documentation strategy approach obtainable in cultural heritage institutions on preserving and safeguarding ICH collections. A pure qualitative methodological approach was used by employing a case study design, semi-structured interviews were conducted to examine the aperture on the implementation of documenting ICH collection in the National Archives, National Museum, and the National Library of Malaysia.

Dengan perkembangan pembelajaran yang semakin popular pada masa kini, Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) sering digunakan oleh pelajar sebagai medium pembelajaran. Kajian ini merupakan satu tinjauan untuk mengenalpasti potensi aplikasi MOOC yang dibina dalam meningkatkan literasi terhadap pembelajaran gaya MOOC, menarik minat pelajar dalam pembelajaran dan membantu pelajar meningkatkan motivasi mereka dalam pembelajaran. MOOC yang dibina adalah bagi mata pelajaran Teknologi Kimpalan berdasarkan sukatan pelajaran kolej vokasional (KV). Populasi kajian melibatkan 111 orang pelajar Teknologi Kimpalan di KV Batu Pahat, Malaysia. Kaedah persampelan yang digunakan ialah persampelan bertujuan yang mana kajian terdiri daripada pelajar Tahun 1 Program Teknologi Kimpalan seramai 32 pelajar. Instrumen yang digunakan berbentuk borang soal selidik untuk mendapatkan maklumat. Data yang diperolehi dikumpul dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 20.0. Berdasarkan analisis yang dibuat, nilai kebolehpercayaan instrumen adalah 0.91 dan menunjukkan kebolehpercayaan instrumen berada pada tahap tinggi. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa penggunaan MOOC dapat meningkatkan daya literasi terhadap MOOC (3.33), motivasi (3.35) dan minat pelajar (3.30), seterusnya menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menarik disamping dapat menambah baik alat bahan bantu mengajar (ABBM) yang sedia ada. The aims of this study therefore try to propose a theoretical model to develop an interface design using mobile application according to the needs of Malaysia cottage industry player. This mobile application interface design is purposely to help the marketing process for them who also known as micro SMEs. This research will exploring their knowledge on innovation diffusion theory (IDT) and investigate the level of their technology acceptance towards mobile application and e-commerce.
