The tourist attraction is a main mobilization that motivates tourists to visit a certain tourism ... more The tourist attraction is a main mobilization that motivates tourists to visit a certain tourism destination. One of the current progressive tourist attractions is culinary tourism. This culinary tourism is also called gastronomic tourism in which tourists satisfy themselves with various meals from the tourism destination. It is not just about to make their stomach full, but it is also to gain a certain eating experience and learn to cook special foods.Taro has been used as a main ingredient of making taro layered cake in Bogor. Thus, this cake is a culinary tourist attraction in the city. However, taro-based culinary products haven't become the main culinary tourist attraction in Bogor. Therefore, this research is aimed to observe the motivation of tourists who visit Bogor for culinary purpose. The goals of this research are to identify the taro based culinary products as a culinary tourist attraction in Bogor and analyze the relationship between taro-based culinary products and the visitors' motivation. The method used in this research is correlational descriptive method with quantitative approach. The result of this research shows that the taro based culinary products can be culinary tourist attraction in Bogor since they could meet the conditions of food qualities which cope color, appearance, portion, shape, temperature, texture, aroma, level of doneness, and taste. The connection between taro based culinary products with the tourists' motivation can be seen from the result of Pearson correlation in which each dimension of tourists' motivations has a negative correlation. Therefore, there must be improvements so that the level of tourist's motivation for taro based culinary products in Bogor would increase.

The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation and direct interviews. This study also conducted FGDs with homestay owners, the Head of the Kemiren Traditional Village, Pokdarwis, the Head of Kemiren Village, Banyuwangi Disbudpar, Dancers, PKK, and NGOs. The result of this research is the role of Pokdarwis as a Motivator, Communicator, and Driving Force. The quality of a homestay meets elements of the criteria of the host, activities, location, marketing & promotion, and sustainability principles. Meanwhile, elements of Safety & Security Criteria, Management, Accommodation, Cleanliness & Cleanliness still need to be improved. —This study aimed to examine the policy of Green Hotel and its implementation at Aston Hotel & Re... more —This study aimed to examine the policy of Green Hotel and its implementation at Aston Hotel & Resort Bogor, as well as to analyze the application of green concept hotel at Aston Hotel & Resort Bogor to its own hotel network management, such as Neo Hotel and Fave Hotel. This research used qualitative description method with a case study approach. The result of this research showed that Aston Hotel & Resort Bogor has implemented Green Hotel policy made by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. There are fourteen aspects of Green Hotel's policy and out of the fourteen aspects, Aston Hotel & Resort Bogor has implemented energy efficiency policy, water efficiency policy, room ventilation, emission and noise quality policy, waste management policies, appropriate land use policy, human resource quality policy through training, " Green Hotel " implementation program policy for staff-guest-society, occupational health and safety policy, hygiene and sanitation policy especially food and beverage department. However, there are aspects, which have not been done by Aston Hotel & Resort Bogor, so they still need to be done to meet the Green Hotel concept. The implementation of green hotel concept policy at Aston Hotel & Resort Bogor to hotel network management such as Neo Hotel Neo Hotel, and Fave Hotel, goes through several planned activities. These steps are provided to lead the hotel forming and establishing the Green Hotel concept that aims to environmental awareness and sustainability.

This consideration should be implemented through empowerment strategy which better known as community-based tourism development.
District of Tamansari in Bogor, West Java is welknown for its natural and religious tourism attractions. Besides those both two attractions, there are also several home industry and private small-micro entreprises (SME) that could also attract visitor, such as silk house, mushroom farming, shoes & sandal makers and homestays. Those situations are really in favour for the local community to implement the community based tourism in Tamansari area. To do so, it’s necessary to develop a proper tourism plan and tourism package which based on community based tourism principles and ellaborate all the potential attractions in Tamansari area.
This research use qualititative method toward surveys, interview and FGD to gain data for the development plan. The result show that tourism supporting services in Tamansari area are already inherent with community based tourism indicators; and tourism package that consist of existing attraction and local community entreprises could foster tourism growth in Tamansari Bogor.

Tourist destination must have four components which include tourist attraction, good accessibilit... more Tourist destination must have four components which include tourist attraction, good accessibility, and availability of various facilities, such as accommodation, restaurant, shopping and other service and tourism organizations. This research specially focuses on an emerging tourist destination named Tamansari Ciapus in the city for Bogor, West Java. It aims to examine the roles of a resort accommodation, located in the area, in supporting the new destination. The research also wants to look at the roles and potential of local village communities in developing community-based tourism destination. It uses descriptive qualitative method of data collection through surveys, field observations and interviews, FGD, and methods of SWOT (Strength, Weakness, and Treat, Opportunity analysis). The result of this research show that the role of resort accommodation, in this case The Highland Park Hotel, is quite important the development of Tamansari Ciapus as a new destination. In many case, the resort is the very reason the visitors come to the area. However, such a role have not optimum yet for example there is not a cooperation between the resort, other attraction owners in the area (silk, mushroom cultivation, and other home industries) and also the local community. The resort guests, for instance, seldom, visit area outside the resort. The role of the community is also quite significant in developing the area as a village tourism destination. Community organizations have been formed and tour packages have been developed although the market is still limited. On the other hand that community in more increase to be tour guides, integrated souvenir centers and professionally- managed home stay.
