Artificial Intelligence (AI) has developed as a viable aid in the field of education, as well as language acquisition, as technology advances. This research does a literature review to explore the role of AI in the progress of communication skills in English language learners. The purposes of this research are to explore at the existing research and literature on the use of AI-based technologies in English language learning atmospheres. The essay opens with an overview of artificial intelligence and its conceivable uses in education. It then looks into the numerous methods in which AI might help English language learners to reinforce their communication skills, as well as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The results of this literature review recommend that AI has the possible to suggestively enhance English language learners' communication skills by providing personalized and interactive learning experiences. However, further research is needed to explore the long-term effects and optimal integration of AI in language learning environments. In conclusion, this article highlights the transformative role of AI in English language speaking performance and its possible to address the diverse needs of language learners. By considerate the existing state of research and noticing the opportunities and challenges presented by AI in language learning, educators and policymakers can share the use of AI to harness the benefits of AI technology and maximize its impact on developing effective speaking performances among English language learners.

Through online teaching and scaffolding clinics for novice writers, this narrative qualitative study aimed to assist students and novice writers in improving their scientific paper writing skills. For data collection, this study utilized open-ended interviews, observations, field notes, and online discussions to gather data. The study's findings reveal five distinct roles that teachers can assume during teaching: diagnosticians, instructors, teachers or models, proofreaders, and reviewers. In this instance, novices perceive scaffolding to play two roles: improving cognitive and interactive writing tools. However, future studies should pay more attention to the scaffolding effects of strategy, technique, and students' levels of thought, taking into account background characteristics such as ability, sex, race, ethnicity, and learning style preference, as well as their status within the groups. This study suggests that the government should provide excellent research-based outcomes rather than a final report based only on notes because creating a scientific paper involves perseverance and cannot be accomplished in one night's effort.

To accomplish this, the study used a narrative literature review and ATLAS.ti 9 to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that teachers believed that Artificial Intelligence in Language Learning and Teaching (AILLT) included assessing student needs, developing appropriate learning resources, promoting collaboration among resources, providing real-time assessment tools to improve the educational process, and increasing teaching efficiency and effectiveness. Second, AI tools for writing tools, including Paperpal, Quillbot, Jenni AI, ChatGPT, Elicit, as well as in applications to improve speaking skills, such as Speeko and Vocaroo, and "Siri and Say It" for listening and pronunciation skills. Third, factors that may influence students' use of AI-based language learning tools include adaptability, engagement, motivation, autonomy, immediate or direct feedback, accessibility and inclusivity, and teacher and parent support. This research found that AI enhances accessibility, adaptability, personalization, and immediate feedback, but it also has limitations, such as dependence on technology, inadequate human interaction, limited contextual understanding, and algorithmic biases. In addition, AILLT faces potential threats such as quality control, privacy concerns, and job or task displacement. Narrative literature studies provide theoretical insights, and it is expected that future studies at different levels of language learning will incorporate empirical evidence from experimental and case study-based research.

This study used a narrative case study design and a qualitative approach. In doing so, teachers employed eight RBCs' strategies: raising collaboration awareness, forming groups based on 21st-century skills, using controlled-chosen topics and theme-based prior knowledge, employing snowball questioning techniques, engaging in role-play in different contexts, conducting peer evaluations, and providing oral and written feedback. This study found that technology integration, such as WhatsApp, Zoom Meeting, Google Classroom, and electronic mail, enhanced the learning experience, whereas pooling WhatsApp messages was used to direct the chosen discussion topics. The results demonstrated that RBC significantly improved students' speaking performance across four instructional dimensions: collaborative awareness, active learning, classroom interaction, and technological integration. Future research should aim to enhance spoken communication by integrating technology in assessments and fostering collaborative learning environments.
