The main sources of irrigation for this group of farmers are tanks and under-ground tanks that are artificially supplied with water in their different farms, since natural sources of water are not always available. These women mostly use their buckets or other containers to fetch water from tanks. They continually monitor the water level of their tanks in all their farms to know the best time to refill those tanks and also, they irrigate their crops manually. With the continuous demand of this variety of pepper, this current approach is quite challenging, not sustainable and highly labour intensive. Hence, there is an urgent need to boost production and address those challenges and difficulties associated with the current irrigation method through Internet of Things and other innovative techniques. Hence, there is an urgent need to boost production and address those challenges and difficulties associated with the current irrigation method through Internet of Things and other innovative techniques. The aim of this paper is to use a smart system to monitor and control soil moisture, temperature and water level in the tank. The paper equally aims at detecting the location of the farm where tank that is to be refilled is placed. Methods: Simulation and experimental methodology was employed in this research. The components of the proposed system include sensors, GSM, GPS, water pumps and microcontroller. Ultrasonic sensor monitors the water level in the tank, moisture and temperature sensors monitor the soil moisture and temperature, water pump sprinkles water on the crops, GPS provides the location of the tank, GSM sends message when the need arises while the microcontroller takes decision and coordinates the functioning of the entire system Result: The research produced a system prototype that monitors and controls the usage of water on yellow pepper crops and refilling of water tank in the farm.

The use of data from social media to drive business intelligence is now of growing interest to both researchers and business owners. Business owners can now utilize platforms like Twitter to learn about their target audience and improve their business processes to meet their growing needs. Twitter makes it easy to see what is going or about to go viral and vital details like why it is going viral and the players behind it. This research aims to help business owners’ especially small and medium enterprises and start-ups gain a competitive advantage in their industry by using the "crowd wisdom" opportunity via social media. The proposed system is based on Twitter and crawls the platform for relevant data, including; locations, trends, and important actors (influencers) within a specified fi...

A brief introduction of quantum computation is provided, with a simplified explanation of Shor's Algorithm showcasing the potentials of quantum computation. Related literature such as books, journals, proceedings, lecture notes and webpages on quantum cryptography were reviewed and were sourced from prominent databases like IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, and JSTOR. This gave a clearer picture on the mechanisms of quantum cryptography and Shor's algorithm. The authors were able to succinctly describe quantum cryptography, show how encryption is achieved by exploiting the properties of quantum particles, and demonstrated with examples the intricacies with Shor's algorithm. It is expected that interested researchers will be more informed on current research in quantum cryptography and influence potential cryptography scholars to explore further the mechanisms of quantum cryptography, quantum computation, and other principles of the quantum theory.

The loan approval process is one of the most tedious task in the banking industry. Modern technology such as machine learning models can improve the speed, efficacy, and accuracy of loan approval processes. This paper presents six (6) machine learning algorithms (Random Forest, Gradient Boost, Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, K-Nearest Neighbor, and Logistic Regression) for predicting loan eligibility. The models were trained on the historical dataset 'Loan Eligible Dataset,' available on Kaggle and licensed under Database Contents License (DbCL) v1.0. The dataset was processed and analyzed using Python programming libraries on Kaggle's Jupyter Notebook cloud environment. Our research result showed high-performance accuracy, with the Random forest algorithm having the highest score of 95.55% and Logistic regression with the lowest score of 80%. Our Models outperformed two of the three loan prediction models found in the literature in terms of precision-recall and accuracy.

Social media (Twitter), as a business intelligence tool, can help SMEs gain insight into customers' perspectives of their products and services through Sentiment Analysis. This research presents a Twitter Sentiment Analysis for business intelligence using three machine learning algorithms; Bernoulli Naive Bayes (BNB), Linear Support Vector Classification (SVC), and Logistic Regression (LR) algorithm, to get the text polarity of tweets (Negative/positive). The dataset used for the research was gotten from Kaggle; the tweets were processed and analyzed using Python programming libraries on Kaggle's Jupyter Notebook cloud environment. Our result showed that Logistic Regression achieved better performance with an accuracy of 83% based on Precision-Recall evaluation metrics.

Slowly the country is building back again, and the vaccines are helping to reduce the spread of covid-19. Since the covid-19 vaccine came to Nigeria; 18,728,188 people have been fully vaccinated as at May 31st, 2022. This is roughly 10% of the Nigerian population estimated at 206.7 million [1]. This paper presents a visual Exploratory Data Analysis of the covid-19 vaccination progress in Nigeria using the R-tidyverse package in R studio IDE for data cleaning & analysis, and Tableau for the visualizations. Our dataset is from the Nigerian National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) in charge of the vaccines. The data used for this research contain the state-by-state breakdown of Covid-19 vaccine distribution recorded between March 5th, 2021, and May 31st, 2022. This paper aims to show how these data analytics tools and techniques can be useful in finding insights in raw data by presenting the results of the EDA visually thus reducing the ambiguity and possible confusions that is associated with data in tables. Furthermore, our findings contribute to the growing literature on Covid-19 research by showcasing the Covid-19 vaccination trend in Nigeria and the state by state distribution.
