Praktek vote buying merupakan salah satu bentuk pelanggaran utama yang kerap terjadi dalam proses... more Praktek vote buying merupakan salah satu bentuk pelanggaran utama yang kerap terjadi dalam proses elektoral. Artikel ini mendiskusikan kompleksitas pemaknaan konsep, bentuk dan penyebab terjadinya vote buying. Selain itu, mendiskusikan pula bagaimana pengaruh vote buying terhadap perwujudan pemilu yang berintegritas dan strategi apa yang dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalisir praktek vote buying. Dengan menggunakan penelusuran literatur kontemporer dan relevan, vote buying merupakan konsep yang illusive dan dimaknai beragam. Praktek ini berpotensi marak terjadi dengan berbagai bentuknya ketika proses elektoral berkelindan dengan kemiskinan, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan, dan low level of political attitudes. Praktek vote buying secara signikan mendistorsi prinsip kebebasan, keadilan dan kompetisi dari pemilu berintegritas. Meski sulit untuk sama sekali dihilangkan, upaya meminimalisir prevalensi vote buying dapat ditujukan baik kepada vote buyers dan juga vote sellers.

Meskipun berbagai Konvensi PBB telah diratifikasi dan kebijakan internasional maupun nasional lai... more Meskipun berbagai Konvensi PBB telah diratifikasi dan kebijakan internasional maupun nasional lainnya, partisipasi politik perempuan masih dianggap lemah. Mereka tetap kurang terwakili secara substansial dalam posisi pengambilan keputusan politik. Dengan kata lain, bidang politik masih didominasi laki-laki. Artinya, pernyataan kesetaraan politik formal saja tidak cukup. Perlu tindakan lebih untuk membuatnya menjadi kenyataan. Salah satu ukuran potensial, antara lain, adalah tindakan afirmatif dalam bentuk kuota gender. Kebijakan tersebut memiliki potensi untuk memperkuat partisipasi politik dan representasi perempuan. Namun demikian, secara empiris, hal ini tidak selalu terjadi. Sebagai salah satu harapkan, ada sejumlah faktor yang menentukan efektivitas proses implementasi kebijakan, yaitu, politik, sosial-ekonomi, dan sosial-budaya. Untuk pelaksanaan lebih efektif, afirmatif perlu kebijakan tindakan harus disertai dengan upaya paralel menangani berbagai rintangan.

During a regional head election, it is a common situation that a party faces political conflict i... more During a regional head election, it is a common situation that a party faces political conflict in the electoral area, including conflict among the cadres as well as the supporting parties that merged. By using qualitative analysis, this study explores the internal polemic of the West Java United Development Party (DPW PPP) Regional Executive Board in the form of dualism in the interest of submitting candidates for the West Java Governor Election (Jabar Pilgub) where both camps claim to have legality to advance their candidates for the 2018 Gubernatorial Election. The conflict resolutions produced by PPP can be divided into three, namely: First, Right-base or legally the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia which concludes that there is only one-party leadership, namely under the leadership of General Chair HM Romahurmuziy and Secretary General H Aunur Rofik. The second is power-based or there are two powers, namely central power with Romahurmuziy's personal approach to the head of government, the second is the internal approach of senior party figures. Third, Interest-based, a participatory choice in politics on the opposite side by embracing and inviting rejoining with the consequence of supporting the other side.

Kebijakan ini bertujuan mengurangi biaya logistik untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional, serta memberikan apresiasi kepada importir dan eksportir yang patuh terhadap peraturan kepabeanan. Namun demikian, pada fase implementasi kebijakan, fasilitas locomotive facility tidak dapat diberikan, serta fasilitas truck loosing dan part off container tidak dapat berjalan dengan maksimal. This study aims to test the three hypotheses include the government budget gap, and savings-inves... more This study aims to test the three hypotheses include the government budget gap, and savings-investment gap that will impact on the current account balance. The government budget deficit will have a significant impact on the current account balance. Similarly, the deficit in savings-investment will have an impact on the current account deficit. Another variable that may affect the current account balance is the exchange rate of the currency. Depreciation of the domestic currency, for example, will be able to affect export volume increase and import volume decrease. The opposite effect on export and import volume will occur if the currency of a country appreciates. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of government budget gap, saving-investment gap, and rupiah exchange rate on current account balance in Indonesia, using annual data from period 1985-2016. This research applies the multiple linear regression approach.The results of this study, both of test (F-test) and partially (t-test), show that the government budget gap, saving-investment gap, and rupiah exchange rate had a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's current account balance during the period 1985-2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Komisi P... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Sukabumi dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih di masa pandemi covid-19. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah KPU Kabupaten Sukabumi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa KPU Kabupaten Sukabumi telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pada Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kabupaten di masa pandemi Covid-19, meliputi kampanye informasi dan kampanye iklan berdasarkan segmentasi kelompok sasaran dengan mengoptimalkan metode daring, simulasi Pilkada 2020, pendidikan politik pemilih, mobilisasi sosial dan pemanfaatan jejaring sosial, kegiatan sosialisasi dalam bentuk hiburan berupa kreasi seni melalui perlombaan seperti Sayembara Jingle dan Maskot Pemilihan, Lomba Tari komando dan juga Lomba pembuatan iklan ajakan datang ke TPS, serta penguatan kelembagaan lembaga penyelenggara melalui pembentukan Kelompok Kerja Sosialisasi dan Parmas/Penyuluhan/ Bimbingan Teknis pada Penyelenggaraan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kabupaten Sukabumi tahun 2020. Namun upaya tersebut masih belum optimal karena KPU Kabupaten Sukabumi menghadapi beberapa hambatan, yaitu adanya pendemi Covid-19, cuaca hujan dan bencana alam, kondisi geografis yang luas dan sulit dijangkau, jumlah pemilih yang banyak, keterbatasan anggaran, dan kurangnya akses jangkauan internet serta media masa ke pelosok dalam rangka sosilaisasi. Lebih lanjut, KPU Kabupaten Sukabumi juga dinilai belum optimal dalam melakukan upaya peningkatan partisipasi pemilih karena belum mengupayakan rayuan berupa reward atau benefit yang dapat menjadi daya tarik masyarakat untuk memilih.

Program ini ditujukan untuk mendukung pemulihan ekonomi pasca Covid-19 di desa dan wilayah tertinggal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis program ketahanan pangan di Desa Cileles melalui perspektif politik Anggaran dan teori elit kebijakan publik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pemerintah Desa bersifat elitis dan tidak inklusif dalam menentukan program-program turunan karena tidak diadakannya MusDes sebagai tahapan penyerapan aspirasi masyarakat. Perangkat desa juga tidak terlalu memahami urgensi dan tujuan beberapa program yang telah disahkan. Adapun aktor sentral dalam perumusan program yaitu Kepala Desa, Kaur Perencanaan, dan PKK sebagai kelompok elit yang mengalokasikan nilai-nilai dan membentuk opini masyarakat tentang program-program ketahanan pangan.
