The plant adapted to environmental conditions and succeeded in growing and blooming, which is why the species was interested to study. The species Jatropha integerrima Jacq. was examined and diagnosed for the first time in Iraq. The Phytochemical screening showed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenes, tannins and saponins. The qualitative analysis by TLC indicated the presence of alkaloids and flavonoid that was detected by special reagent and UV light, which included two orang spots of alkaloid with 0.71 and 0.63 Rf value one flavonoid yellow spot with 0.43 Rf value.

There were noticeable morphological variations particularly in leaf lamina, margin and apex; measurements were less in all examined parts (shorter and smaller) due to environmental changes. The study found that all specimens were collected from the same district; there is no extension for this genus in Iraq, may be its threatened. The study examined the pollen grain for the first time; it was prolatespheroidal with 3zonocolporate and coarse reticulate sculpture.

The study included employment from Al-Raya and Mansouriya stations and also included people work at other places to be control for the study. Measurements were done in laboratories of the Faculty of Sciences, Dhi Qar University. Results statistically showed that concentrations of the four metals among workers in fuel stations are higher than those in the control, and the concentrations in blood of smokers are higher than in non-smokers workers, the study also confirmed that differences in ages percentages between workers groups where found.
