Multiply regression ordinary least square correlation analysis is used in estimating relationship between the monetary policy and inflation and their impact on economy of Pakistan measure as the GDP, interest rate, Money supply, Export. For analysis the 20 years' data are used 1995-2014. The result of this study may be helpful for the full employment, increase in the investment, economic development, and stability of capital market for the economy of Pakistan. This study put value to the literature by exploring relationship between the monetary policy and inflation and on the factor that have impact on the Pakistan economy.

The study was concerned with the reasons why people vote the way they do. The main objectives of the present study were to find out the factors which affect the voting behavior & to explore the factors that constitute political affiliation in District Layyah. A sample of 160 household respondents was selected systematically from District Layyah through multistage sampling technique. Specifically explored through this study the relationship of voting behavior with education, internal changes in the party, voter's satisfaction and barbarism are those factors that had strong effect on voting decisions. More than fifty percent (55%) of the respondents vote for the candidate not for the party and (53.1%) of the voters change their behavior due to the internal changes in the party. The value of Chi-Square and Gamma showed a significant and strong association between voter satisfaction with particular political party, favor of biradrism and internal change in the party are strongly associated with voter's behavior.

It is a speedy high way that connects multiple regions. Each region can have one or more than one networks. Internet has become more influential tool to minimize the communication gap all over the world. Internet service providers (ISPs) are providing cheap, fast and good communication services. Technology is playing important role in the growth of Internet users. The easy and cheap availability of computers, laptops, mobiles and Internet services may cause Internet addiction. Internet addiction refers to extreme use of Internet which seems unmanageable in routine life matters, health, attitude, and relationships. Too much use of Internet affects the students spiritually, emotionally, morally and educationally. We have investigated the relationship between problems and measures of Internet addiction among 1000 university level students in the current study. Data was collected through questionnaires filled individually by every student. Results indicate that a large number of students waste their time on chatting and visiting useless sites. Moreover, interpersonal, academic and health problems were found. The reasons of positive and negative impacts of Internet addiction are also found. Survey shows that a number of students are unaware to use the Internet properly. It has been observed that the male students are

The culture of Pakistani is pure Islamic culture and Islam is official religion of Pakistan. The present study is conducted to explore the influence of Indian culture on Pakistani society in Layyah because Indian entertainment channels are most popular in Pakistani society. Main aim of this study was to explore the impact of Indian TV dramas and movies on the Pakistani cultural norms and values. Using multistage sampling technique 120 viewers were selected from Layyah city. Findings of this study show that Indian dramas and movies are directly influencing the Pakistani culture. In this way cable TV network is main source to promote the Indian culture in Pakistan.

The sample of the study consists of 300 social workers/opinion leaders of punjab province. 18 items questionnaire was used to collect data from the participants. The results indicate that radio plays a vital role in building awareness, making opinion and guide the rural masses for solving their problems. The study also reveals that difficult language and technicality in program format make it difficult for the rural audience to understand themes of the program. The study recommends that opinion leaders may be invited to speak on important issues as they have direct influence in the rural masses.

Since, lakes act as catchment basins for close to 40% of the landscape so serve as recreational, sporting and fishing activities. Varsity Lake University of Malaya (UM) is beautiful landscape at the front of the UM main entrance. It is used mainly for recreational and sporting (canoeing) activities. Study has been carried out in order to analyze water quality, nutrients and metals load starting from water inlets into the lake basin. It was found that there is high concentration of oil and grease particles in water due to water flow from cafeteria of college 2, engineering and built environment faculties which cause BOD and TSS value to be higher then normal in the lake. It was one of the main factors that caused the death of fish in the lake in recent months. Mercury and nitrate concentration is also high in the lake. A body contact is involved due to sporting and recreational ac...

Different water quality parameters were studied in ground water samples that includes physico-chemical variables (pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity and total dissolved solids), anions (carbonates, bicarbonates and chlorides), cations (sodium, calcium and magnesium), biological variables like total coliform (faecal coliform and E-coli), heavy metals (manganese, nickel, chromium, lead, copper, cobalt, iron and zinc), sodium absorption ratio and residual sodium carbonate. The results were compared with National Environment Quality Standards. The results of the study show that, the use of polluted water increases the value of conductivity, total dissolved solids, sodium absorption ratio and residual sodium carbonate in ground water and exceeds the acceptable limits of National Environment Quality Standards. The increase in values was statistically significant. After detailed survey by conducting interview, it was concluded that the use of polluted water not only degraded the ground water quality but also have a severe health hazard on the residents of the area. The concentration of heavy metals was also found to be higher than acceptable range. Possible recommendations were given, in order to protect the area from pollution degradation.

We studied the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic pouch resizing (LPR) for dilated gastric pouch after RYGB associated with inadequate weight loss. From 1st June 2011 to 1st September 2013, patients who underwent LPR after failed RYGB were retrospectively compared and analyzed. Data included patient demographics, comorbidity, indication for revision, preoperative weight and BMI, operative time, hospital stay, conversion rate, mean follow-up, body mass index (BMI) loss, percentage excess weight loss (%EWL), reoperation rate, morbidity, and mortality. Out of 170 revisional bariatric procedures, 32 LPR (27/5, F/M) were performed for dilated gastric pouch after RYGB. The mean age, preoperative weight, and BMI were 38.3 ± 9.3 years, 101.7 ± 22.8 kg, 38.8 ± 6.4 kg/m(2), respectively. The median operative time and hospital stay were 100 min and 2 days, ...

Hence a study of contaminants transport is of interest for their appropriate management. Field and laboratory studies were undertaken to determine the likely concentrations of potential contaminants from landfill leachate to the underlying groundwater, leachate, and surface water at Ampar Tenang landfill, Selangor, Malaysia. The results clearly indicate that materials are poorly contained and are entering the wider environment. Hence full characterization of the dump contents and the integrity of the site are warranted in order to evaluate the scope of the problem and to identify suitable remediation options.

The effectiveness of adsorption for dye removal from wastewaters has made it an ideal alternative to other expensive treatment methods. Biosorption of acid yellow (AY17), a monoazo acid dye, was investigated using Typha angustata L. as biosorbent in a batch system with respect to initial pH, temperature, initial dye concentration, biosorbent dosage, and contact time. The biomass exhibited the highest dye uptake capacity at 303 K, initial pH value of 2, the initial dye concentration of 150 mg/L, biosorbent dosage of 0.5 g and contact time of 40 min. The extent of dye removal increased with increase in time, biosorbent dosage and decreased with increase in temperature. The equilibrium sorption capacity of the biomass increased on increasing the initial dye concentration up to 150 mg/L and then started decreasing in the studied concentration up to 600 mg/L. The experimental results have shown that the acidic pH favors the biosorption. Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption model is used for the mathematical description of the biosorption equilibrium and isotherm constants are evaluated at different temperatures. Equilibrium data fitted very well to the Freundlich model in the studied concentration (25-600 mg/L) and temperature (303-323 K) ranges. The pseudo-first-and second-order kinetic models were also applied to the experimental data. The results indicated that the dye uptake process followed the pseudosecond-order rate expression and the adsorption rate constants increased with increasing concentration. The adsorption results in this study indicated that all the adsorbents were attractive candidates for removing acidic dyes from dye wastewater.
