The central concepts of Eugen Fink's philosophy, which can be called phenomenological cosmology, ... more The central concepts of Eugen Fink's philosophy, which can be called phenomenological cosmology, are the concepts of being and the world. However, the title of his key work also includes the concept of truth, which has not only an epistemological but also an ontological and, last but not least, ethical basis. The ethical dimension of Fink's cosmology is not much talked about, yet the question of ethics, values and moral order seems to play an important role for him. Moreover, it turns out that our understanding of the world in the sense of the absolute medium from which the individual finite beings emerge has ethical and moral consequences. The following text attempts to give a picture of Fink's ethics and how it relates to his reflections on the world.

This study presents the results of extensive qualitative research that examines, through interpretative phenomenological analysis and existential hermeneutic phenomenology, how managers make sense of their crises and other specifics disrupting their daily practice and personal lives. An existential-phenomenological approach based on the idea of co-existence – relating to the world and to self through interpersonal relationships – provides a useful framework for interpreting the lived experience of managers within the transformative process related to their identity and modes of being. Research shows that critical moments are often associated with disrupted interpersonal relationships. These can be analysed in several existential categories, such as work, struggle, play, love, and death. This article points out the fact that criti...

However, metaphysics, as the queen of philosophical disciplines, finds itself in the sharpest marginal situation because its concepts of illuminating and determining being seem to be fragmented. The relationship between metaphysics and death should be perceived as such that death is not the subject of metaphysical thought, but rather its existential motive. Fink looks at the phenomenon of death from a different perspective than his mentor Martin Heidegger. Like other of his existentials, by which the human existence is defined, he complements it by an aspect of intersubjectivity, which fundamentally revises the strongly individualistic concept.

As with Arendt, this concept forms the pillar of his thinking, and the aim of this text is to indicate the possible connection of this leaning towards Aristotle with the study of Patočka's friend and colleague Eugen Finek called PHRONESIS und THEORIA. It is these Aristotelian concepts that prove to be crucial for the further development of Patočka's thought and his concept of action. In addition, there are similarities, but also differences in Patočka and Fink's concept of human finitude, which is very closely related to the act.

In this article, we propose an extended EHP framework that includes the original ideas of phenomenologists Fink and Patočka. We present the results of our interpretative phenomenological analysis study, where issues of communication and interpersonal relationships emerge as key problems in project work.

The aim of this analysis is to prove that death not only is not an antipolitical event, but that it, on the contrary, participates fundamentally on the constitution of the human society. Not only in the form of radical sacrifices, as Patočka describes it, but also in our daily interacting with other people, in which we risk ourselves and the possibility of not being. It turns out that only because of this interaction with others and engaging in the story can we get something like immortality.

The research uses methods of IPA and critically develops the EHP framework with an emphasis on the analysis of interpersonal relationships.FindingsDepending on the testing of the research method in practice, the article evaluates the IPA-EHP method as suitable for the research on critical moments of managerial lived experience, considering the causes of the crisis.Originality/valueThis article is based on demand from academics who would like to use this method to analyse managerial practice. This
article focuses on neurophenomenology and fields of first-person neuroscience that attempt to bridge the gap between first-person and third-person perspectives of research. The aim of this article is to show what areas of interest and what methodological approaches the current neurophenomenology and first-person neuroscience is taking, especially in the context of a summary of the basic problems associated with this research program. Efforts to link neuroscience to other disciplines, that traditionally deal with the phenomena of different levels of analysis, are associated with several conceptual and methodological problems. Although no definitive solution to these problems is in sight, neurophenomenology provides a number of stimuli for new reflections on the nature of mental states and brings new perspectives for research within social neuroscience.
