A semi-structured interview was conducted with 9 managers of media organizations (International Quran News Agency [IQNA]; Maarif Radio, Quran Radio, QuranTV and Jam Jam Newspaper), followed by stages of coding for data analysis (extracting basic concepts and propositions and categories). Findings show that Employing expert, well-thought-out manpower; formation of the development working group; skill development of middle managers; And establishing continuous communication with organizations in the field of human resources development is the most practical idea. In the field of facilities and equipment development, the most important idea is to take advantage of correct budgeting and develop new technologies; The need to use new technologies to improve SEO, broadcast on TV and IranSada, use news coverage techniques, audience persuasion, audience measurement and content production based on the opinions of domestic and international audiences; making organizational processes research-oriented, avoiding censorship, exaggeration, rumors and lack of transparency; importance to creativity and material and spiritual support of creative employees; Follow-up until the implementation of ideas; It is one of the most important findings of the research. human resources should be equipped with creativity to use the organization's facilities to achieve development using techniques such as value engineering, and managers should pay attention to the basic aspects of development.

In information retrieval process, users recognize which records are related to their information needs. On the other hand, users from different countries have different culture and even there are users with different culture from one country. So it's necessary to know if there is significant relationship between user's cultural attitude and their information behavior? If this relationship is proved, information retrieval researches will enter to new phase. In this research, analytical-survey has been used and there are 2 questionnaires (Hofstede cultural attitude dimensions & relevance judgment) as the research tools. 50 master students of Knowledge and Information Science in Kharazmi University (1393-1395), are research society. For data description average and standard deviation, and for data analysis Pearson Correlation Coefficient and simultaneous-entry regression analysis have been used. Socio-cognitive attitude focuses on effect of users social environment on relevance judgment, but there isn't any researches to distinguish relationship between cultural attitude and relevance judgment. Findings show that users have important role in decision making and besides, not only user's personality characteristics play effective role, but also cultural situation of users who live in that society is important. Results show that students with low power distance, have high relevance judgment (r=0.315). The maximum relevance judgment belongs to variables collectivism and relevance judgment (r=0.508). There is the lowest significant relationship between femininity and relevance judgment (0.212). Uncertainty avoidance is the only dimension that has inverse

Research method is mixed of grounded theory and survey analytics. Research population (qualitative section) is composed of crisis management specialists and managers of research centers who was selected by an objective method, and quantitative section composes of 144 managers of research centers and libraries. Semi-structured interview and questionnaire were used. Principle areas of crisis management include: values (moral, religious and social values); human force (using experienced forces) and techniques (correct budgeting, increased skills, information process improvement, improvement of IT infrastructures and preventing crisis). Model of crisis management is composed of 3 factors which the average score of statistical population is 149, 70 and 49 for intra-organizational management, extra organizational operation environment, and extra-organizational respectively. Recognition of causes, contexts, intervening factors, main strategies and main outcomes was auxiliary purposes. Methodology: Grounded theory research method has been used for the implementation of purposes. Qualitative data has been collected by semi-structured interviews. Data saturation level was the main factor for continuing interviews and selecting samples. Research population consisted of crisis managers and Library directors in Iran . Data analyze performed by theoretical coding (open, axial and selective coding). In the axial coding, main category determined and in selective coding, final model presented. Causes, intervening conditions, contexts, main strategies, and main consequences of crisis management in libraries indicated in the model. Findings: The main contexts of crisis management in this model are “values”, “human resources and procedures” and “designs...

The KM mission within an organization is to transform the tacit knowledge of employees into an important source for decision making as well as proactive documentation of explicit knowledge for achieving organizational goals. The closer man’s abilities, understanding, cognition and information are matched, the more one could be optimistic about generation of a more effective and applied knowledge. Nowadays organizations should not solely consider their financial holdings as their assets, rather the collective knowledge of those employed within an organizations are one of its most important asset on which the management must duly invest.

user’s characteristics on their relevance judgment. The research
method was an analytical survey in which 40 masters students and
graduates of Information and Knowledge Sciences formed the
research population. NEO-personality inventory-revised was used to
investigate the population in 5 factors (Extraversion/ Neuroticism/
Openness to experience/ agreeableness/ Conscientiousness).
Relevance judgment was perfomed on 10 first retrieved records in
Google for 5 keywords that had been searched by the research
population and precision was measured.
Findings showed that users’ relevance judgment is not the same
despite the intervening control; Extraversion and agreeableness have
positive and significant relationship with relevance judgment and
there is not any significant relationship between Neuroticism,
Openness to experience and Conscientiousness with relevance
judgment. In other words, users with characteristics such as
Extraversion and agreeableness retrieved more related records. In
general, some personal characteristics have influence on relevance
judgment. Library and information managers can improve search
process through providing suitable job conditions and suitable
environment for users to search information in better situations.

Purpose: The main purpose of this research is investigation of effect of the users’ religiosity on their relevance
judgment.
Method: This research is practical in terms of purpose and was conducted using the descriptive survey design.
The statistical population of the research consisted of all fourth-level doctoral students at Al-Zahra University,
whose number was 69. Mean and Standard deviation were used to describe the statistical data, and Pearson’s cor-
relation coefficient and simultaneous regression analysis were used to analyze the data. In order to collect informa-
tion about the level of users’ adherence to religiosity dimensions, Glock and Stark’s religiosity questionnaire (1968)
was used which includes 26 items arranged in 4 dimensions of beliefs, emotional, consequential, and ritual. Then,
in order to determine the degree of relevance judgment, 6 simulated work tasks were defined and the most impor-
tant criteria of relevance judgment were evaluated during the execution of work tasks. First, the users searched on
the topic of work tasks in Persian paper databases, including Magiran, SID and Ensani Portal (Iran’s Humanities
Portal), and they selected 10 papers for each task. After reading each scenario and the demand related to it, users
evaluated the papers related to each scenario in a related, somewhat related, unrelated format. Therefore, each user
evaluated 30 papers related to 6 work tasks.
Findings: The findings indicates that among the religiosity dimensions, the interactive behavior of users
showed a higher average than the interactive performance and relevance judgment. Moreover, the average of prac-
tices dimension was the highest, followed by belief dimension, and emotion dimension. Finally, the works dimen-
sion showed the lowest average. The results of multiple regression test showed that users’ ritual and behavioral
dimension (such as worship, prayer, participation in special religious rites, fasting, etc.) and belief dimension and
religious beliefs are effective in increasing relevance judgment, but the two affective and emotional dimensions
have nothing to do with the judgment of users. In other words, despite the change in the emotional dimension of the
users, i.e., the change in the degree of emotions, imaginations and feelings related to having a relationship with a
divine entity such as God or an ultimate reality or a supreme authority, their relevance judgment would not change.
Furthermore, despite the change in the ‘consequences dimension’ of religiosity, i.e., the change in the effects of
religious beliefs, actions, experiences and knowledge on the daily life of users, the level of their relevance judgment
did not show a change.
Originality/value: The present research is the first research that has explored the effect of users’ religiosity
scales on relevance judgment. According to the findings, it is suggested that system designers and experts, in addi-
tion to considering technical issues and hardware and software equipment, should also manage the interactions of
users with the system and consider the different conditions and situations of users. Librarians, while knowing the
society in which the users are located and considering the religious context of the society as well as knowing the
religious approaches of the users, can provide the necessary guidance to them when retrieving information.
