In this article is presented the well-detailed proof of concept for a web-based temperature monitoring system, using Arduino and temperature sensors for temperature monitorization and AGILE SCRUM Methodology for software development management. In this way, the operators from grain reception base will be able to monitor the temperature from different halls, build from different materials, remotely.

The aim of this study was to identify valuables winter wheat genotypes concerning to drought tolerance. A set of 113 Romanian and foreign genotypes were analysed for drought tolerance over two experimental years in field conditions at Agricultural Research and Development Station Turda. Simulating drought effect was realized by applying the desiccant solution (NaClO3 - 2%) on wheat plants at 14 days after anthesis. Morpho-productive traits, such as number of grains per spike; weight of grains per spike; thousand kernel weight and grain yield were analysed as a response of drought stress conditions. Of the main yield components: weight of grains/spike and thousand kernel weight were more affected traits. Simulation of drought effect allowed identification of valuable cultivars, capable to limiting the drought impact on yield components a...

This research has the main focus on the influence of green fertilization on the production of linseed for oil. The experiments underlying the research were located in the vicinity of Sibiu. Six varieties of Linum usitatissimum (Alexin, Geria, Lirina, Cristina, Fluin, Elan FD) were tested under different fertilization conditions (unfertilized, green fertilizer, mineral fertilizer) to determine their influence on the quality of linseeds for oil extraction.

The field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of fertilization on grain yield and quality indices in winter and spring wheat and to compare of their values. The quality of the grain was determined based on meal analysis. Nitrogen application improved protein content and also increase the grain yield until level when is appear the negative correlation between two characters. The experimental date from this paper is about adaptability of 25 winter wheat and 22 spring wheat varieties local and foreign in two years and two level of fertilization on the local conditions at Turda. The experiments were conducted over two years, 2011 and 2012, at Agricultural Research and Development Station Turda, which are characterized with a high rainfall and temperatures favourable fo...

In order to achieve the proposed objectives, it was organized a three factorial experience, 3A ( variety ) x 3B ( number of sowing seeds ) x 3C ( doze of fertilizers ) being taken into study three factors with 3 replications. The tested varieties were: Pădureni (from Romania), GK Marcius and GK Tavasz (from Hungary). Number of sowing seeds were: 250 g.s./m 2 , 375 g.s/m 2 and 500g.s./m 2 . They were used the following doze of fertilizers: N70P70K0, N100P100+foliar, N120P120K0 . The paper presents the yields components on spring wheat: number of fertile tillers...

Over centuries the fibers were used for themaking of ropes, sails, cloth and paper, while the seeds were used for protein-rich food and feed.Hemp has many industrial applications such as the production of paper, textiles, building materials, food, medicine, paint, detergent, varnish, oil, ink, and fuel. The paper has proposed a studyregarding the evolution of production values and physical parameters (MMB- grain) under theinfluence of different seeding space recorded in some hemp varieties approved in Romania, with alow level of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).

Cannabis is one of the 50 "fundamental" herbs of traditional Chinese medicine (Wong, Ming, 1976), and is prescribed to for a broad range of indications. Medical cannabis is illegal in most countries. A number of governments, including the U.S. Federal Government, allow treatment with one or more specific low doses of synthetic cannabinoids for one or more disorders.

It has multiple uses, as shown below. Its properties include antispasmodic action, astringent action, curative effects, vasodilating effects, hypotensive effects, anti-inflammatory and cholagogic effect, antiseptic, antibiotic, and anti-diarrheal effect. They also favor the epithelialization process, rush the healing of the injuries; determine an increase of the vascular lumen by relaxing the smooth vessel muscles, increasing the blood inflow within that area. It is also useful in case of ulcers (gastric, duodenal or leg ulcers), burns and other external injuries; bronchitis and inflammations of the urogenital system; colitis and cholecystitis; depressive conditions. It can be used internally for treating indigestion, hematuria and enterocolitis, while externally, it is used to treat wounds.

Under semi-arid conditions wheat genotipe with a longer grain filling duration give lower yields if occur high water and temperature deficiency. The plant genotype and environment both influence the rate and duration of grain filling, which have a directly influence on the grain productivity. Productivity components and some morpho-physiological traits such as number of grains per spike, grain weight per ear, thousand kernel weight , plant size and plant density are closely related to the production of grain. The common name of hyssop comes from the plant’s hyssop flavour. Commercially, this plant is considered as having culinary importance. Several varieties of this species were selected in Canada, for their essential oil, which contains methyl chavicol. The species was cultivated in Moldavia, as an experiment, for essential oil production. The herb (Agastache foeniculi herba) is used for therapeutic purposes in treating cardiovascular, nerve and gastrointestinal affections, in treating cold, fever (North America Indies used the infusion for this intent) and as a diaphoretic. It also has antiemetic, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It improves throat pains and cold symptoms. The present study aimed to determine seed germination, by using classical methods- on paper under layer, in Linhardt dishes and in blotting paper envelopes. Seeds were 1,...

Another consideration for the spring wheat area of land would earn would be that in our country there are mountain areas at high altitudes, with unfavorable conditions for winter wheat crop, where winters exceed 4-5 months yearly, or dry climates with harsh winters without snow cover. It is known that spring wheat yielded less than winter wheat, after our previous studies about 20-30% smaller production and it is due to the shorter period of vegetation, about 120 days, compared with winter wheat which has 265 days. Areas occupied by spring wheat in our country are small.

The number of tubers and stolons wasobserved at 20 and 45 days from plant emergence. The total number of tubers formed at 45 daysfrom emergence was considered the total number of tubers/plant.

Our aim was to study and use some alternative pest control methods based on indirect and direct strategies: 1) the pest monitoring in different orchard ecosystems (apple-tree, plum-tree and cherry-tree) and useful fauna identification (by visual control, collecting manually, striking method on a tarpaulin); 2) the use of some physico-mechanical and biotechnical methods (use of barriers-attractant trapsvisual, reflective material and repellents) to control the pests. The harmful and useful fauna in studied orchard ecosystems proved to be very different. All the methods recorded a good efficacy against the pests.
