This paper asserts an urgent appeal for people to go beyond words and act to help mitigate the environmental crisis. Spiritual persons are to produce spiritual households to resonate quality values toward the human and nonhuman neighborhood. When goodness is brought about by households to the Natural World, morality emerges. Relationship, a key word of Sustainability Ethics, is established with the Creator, co-humans, creatures, and the children-yet-to-come. The lack, if not the absence, of relationship would lead Sustainability in peril. In return, the distortion of Sustainability lead people and other creatures to be unhealthy, if not their demise. The current pandemic called COVID19, for instance, is regarded as a fatal consequence of that distortion. Sustainability Ethics comes in to help mitigate the crisis. Sustainability is best understood when we learn from our Sustainability Teachers who, in their instincts, had Sustainability as their "way of life." Sustainability must be understood in its entirety, not just intellectually, but also spiritually, physically, and emotionally. The purpose of this paper is first, to clarify the holistic understanding of Sustainability. Second, to present the ethical value of relationship as the foundation of Sustainability Ethics. And third, to argue that spirituality is the cutting edge of Sustainability Ethics that can work together with both Indigenous and Western Science, the ethic of the household, and the virtue of frugality.

We could not invent things, we could not create institutions or history, we could not imagine, we could not produce anything of value, we did not know how to use land and other resources from the natural world, we did not practice the 'arts' of civilization. By lacking such virtues, we disqualified ourselves, not just from civilization but from humanity itself. In other words, we were not 'fully human'; some of us were not even considered partially human.

I said 'toxic' because such power is manipulative, abusive, discriminatory, and dehumanizing against women. Men's acts are basically driven by misconduct, be it sexual, political, economic, or in job placements. Women are seen and treated as sexual objects merely served to satisfy the selfish desires of men. Women are humiliated, raped, harassed, molested, beaten, ostracized, and prejudiced.

The continuous ravaging of the planet's habitat of at least half of the world's wildlife species is now in danger of extinction. The rainforest crisis has led to critical economic and environmental consequences in developing countries. This crisis should be seen as a global moral problem, not only in countries where rainforest loss is found. The world's rainforests are the " lungs of the earth " because they absorb large amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, most of which are emitted by rich countries, and forests help to provide oxygen for humanity, animals, and other life forms. It is a global concern because without rainforests, global climate becomes erratic and potentially disastrous for all life on earth. I will discuss the state of rainforest crisis in the Philippines, which exemplifies the situation of many developing countries. I have identified six concerns in rainforest ethics and I will provide each with a critical analysis.

This is a factual bottleneck for growth. The authentic bond among Christians was one of the growth factor in the early church. The quality of their fellowship, the nourishment of good relationship, and their love to one another were part of the attraction of Christianity to the skeptic, cynical, pagan world. Because of their relationship to one another, they had turned the world upside down. Before anything else, we should first ask ourselves: Are we really ready to associate ourselves with the household of faith? I ask this because we might be incapable to truly associate and work with fellow Christians [I prefer to use " Christians " instead of " children of God " in view of the argument that not all Christians are 'children of God,' with which only God can tell]. We might have behavioral problems in dealing with people, particularly people different from us. I mean different because people are diverse. God has a purpose why as a creative creator God created us to be different from one another. Each has diverse color, appearance, personality, behavior, family background, culture, language, race, profession, educational attainment, and thinking among other things. This article will be of help to see the beauty of diversity and suggest healing of relationship problems. But how could we unite and be in a good relationship if we are different? Difficulty to Love Let us begin with the Christian way of love. Christians could not dare to pretend they love others. They really mean to love them because their love for one another is the cohesive power that attracts the world around them. Even if that world is so hostile, they will win people because of this tremendous quality that is likened to a magnet that draws people to their side.

One of the best instruments in sanctification is the "ecclesiola in ecclesia" or what we call “small churches within the church.” In contemporary parlance, this is “home cell groups” or “care groups.” Small groups have become a necessity for church growth. Care groups has immensely transformed the highly institutionalized, building-centered church into cohesive, community-immersed small groups which meet once a week from house to house.

OUR CHRISTIAN EDUCATION SHOULD ALWAYS have a responsibility not only to nurture members but also to evangelize and revive. This 3-month Bible Study series is a spiritual awakening for all Christians in order to build a real foundation in Christian life. This is a back-to-the-basic bible study series. This means that we are to recapture the fundamentals of Original Christianity. Every lesson is aimed to evangelize, revive, and nurture our people. Authentic faith should be restored. Christian faith has already been derailed by an anti-Christian culture which eclipses the manner of becoming an authentic Christian. Many of us became Christians, NOT OF THE STANDARD SET BY CHRIST. We joined the church without the real foundation of Christian faith. Spiritually, we never had encountered Grace in the person of Jesus Christ. We never had experienced regeneration; the reason why we remain "Christians-only-in-name." Faith is not inherited; it is experienced. Faith is not earned by good works; it is by Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). Faith is the fruit of change: from an old nature to a new creation. Faith is the result of the feeding of the word, conviction of guilt, repentance, cleansing, and forgiveness of sins.

This well-timed, important book passionately deals with the root cause of the ecological and health crises by highlighting the role of both Ecological and Holistic Healing in the reclamation of sustainability. The author intrigues the reader with a fascinating knowledge on Natural Healing as an efficient way to confront the onslaught of stress and degenerative illness. Inspired by the age-long wisdom of world's Indigenous Peoples, this book attempts to heal the deficiency of dominant, non-Indigenous societies in carrying out development. Development has ushered material progress but it has become ambiguous because its detriment has outweighed its benefits. Largely instigated by governments, businesses, academia, and Christian religion, development has become invasive and predatory especially toward the poor, the Indigenous, and the environment.

This book mends the destructiveness of the human-centered elements in Luther’s thought, largely shared with the broader Christian tradition, bringing Luther into contact with non-Western critiques, particularly the aboriginal communities, as well as criticizing the ethnocentric Christian mission. It further lays an ethic based on Luther’s God-centered perspective against the anthropocentric tendencies of Christian tradition in order to redirect a more holistic mission and a right relationship with nature. Modern Christianity, which undeniably has contributed to the ecological crisis, is admonished to reclaim Luther’s ethics of creation and the virtues of frugality, humility, love and cross bearing. In this modern age of profit-oriented globalization and scientific advances, this book caters usefulness to economists, politicians, religious people, scientists, ecologists, ethicists, professors, students, and all who love the future of the planet.
