Outlander-ish icons - Battle of Culloden and Mamma Mia! (icon requests) @ 10:16 am
Happy New Year everyone and welcome new members!
I know I haven't posted in forever, but I've been doing other things, I'm really sorry. But, I made 6 new icons that are Outlander/Dragonfly in Amber related in regard to the Battle of Culloden and Bonnie Prince Charlie, for you military enthusiasts. Another one is sort of A Breath of Snow and Ashes related of an American colonial 18th century man with a long gun. He's not Jamie, but it gives you an idea of what the gun was like - they were long! All books by Diana Gabaldon and her Outlander Series.
Update: I've since posted some Colin Firth icons from Mamma Mia and 2 Ralph Fiennes - help yourself!
About future icon posts, I really need some inspiration, I don't normally do this, but if anyone has any requests at all of icons, any kind, post your request and I'll see what I can do. I got the DVD for Mamma Mia, so I can do anything in that now. I hope this can get me out of my icon rut.
Credit is nice, but not necessary, but post if you take something - thanks!

I've made some more Outlander icons of various characters from the series, Claire, Frank and Jamie. I've also got some Master and Commander, a little of Austen related icons and just some stock I was fooling around with. Credit is wonderful, but not necessary. However, I would appreciate it if you would comment if you're going to take any, since I like to know how well they're received, and it helps me when I'm deciding what to make in future posts if I know what went over well. I have some The Tudors icons, my fist batch with mostly Katherine of Aragon and Charles Brandon (Henry Cavill *swoon*). I've also got some Regency and Victorian era works of art icons from icon challenges. Enjoy! Some of The Tudors caps are from dj_capslock.

Colin Firth, Sense and Sensibility and a little Scottish Romance! @ 12:55 pm
I made some Sense and Sensibility icons from the 1995 and 2007 versions, centering on Brandon. Plus, I also made an icon of Charles Brandon - the yummy Henry Cavill from The Tudors (more to come). In addition I have some Colin Firth icons, from various stills, movies and some Scottish romance book covers from icontests Enjoy! S&S caps from spikesbint and The Tudors cap from dj_capslock

I've made some Outlander icons of various characters from the series. I've been experimenting with different people other than Gerry Butler as Jamie. And I've made an icon with Diana Gabaldon's ideal Claire as well! Credit is wonderful, but not necessary. However, I would appreciate it if you would comment if you're going to take any, since I like to know how well they're received, and it helps me when I'm deciding what to make in future posts if I know what went over well. Let me know who like or don't like as Jamie. I like this Claire, and I intend to make many more icons of her with this actress.

Icon Dump and some Romance and Austen icons @ 11:43 am
I've accumulated a lot of icons from various contests and just what crossed my mind. I have the usual Austen icons, (couldn't make up my mind of the one of Elizabeth Bennet, so I just posted all 4, with subtle differences), some Romance book cover icons, Richard Armitage and assorted misc. Enjoy!

I'm so happy he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and in honor, I have a few icons of him from No Country for Old Men.

More Romance Cover icons and many others... @ 11:45 am
An early Valentine's Day post... more romance novel covers, some from icontests, (scroll over the icon to see what the book is that I used.) Also some Austen icons (some from icontests). Also, misc. icons including one from the book Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides which I just finished - excellent read, I highly recommend it, and one icon of Heath Ledger from Casanova RIP.
