Procedures to guard against laboratory accidents include safety education or training, establishment of safety policies in the laboratory, safety checks of experimental designs, use of personal protective equipment, and a buddy system for specified hazardous operations. Laboratory work in many countries is subject to equipment safety laws. In some cases, laboratory activities can create environmental health hazards as a result of equipment hazards and misuse, for example, deliberate disposal or misuse of equipment and accidental toxic or infectious substances from the laboratory into the environment

The specific concept of product quality control by a specific department or division has become an obsolete concept and quality control departments have turned into a collective responsibility and the prevailing concept has emerged today, which calls for comprehensive quality management or integrated control of production quality and service provision.

Large volumes of refinery effluent contaminated with numerous sorts of contaminants are discharged into water sources, causing substantial environmental harm. As a result, researchers looked at the use of a variety of treatment techniques to mitigate the impacts of refinery effluent. Utilising hybrid electrodes (iron as cathodes, and aluminium as anodes) electrodes, this investigation intends to use the electrocoagulation method to minimised phenol contaminants from refinery effluent. In addition, the influence of experimental parameters such as electrical current density, electrode spacing, and duration of treatment on the elimination of phenols was investigated in this study. To eliminate the phenols from the effluent, batch flow investigations were employed. According to the findings, the electrocoagulation technique decreased the number of phenols in petroleum effluent. Abstract.Liquid crystal materials have a number of ordinary uniqueness such as mechanical or elec... more Abstract.Liquid crystal materials have a number of ordinary uniqueness such as mechanical or electro-optical properties. New triazines derivatives compound was obtained starting from 1,3,5-triazine and1,3,5-trichlorobenzene. The synthesized compound consist of three-armed, one arm of phenol, and two armed of 2,4-bis(dodecyloxy)-6-ethynyl-1,3,5-triazine which built up from the reaction between 1,3,5-triazine and dodecan-1-ol. The substitution was achieved efficiently at appropriate temperatures under the argon atmosphere by cross-coupling. However, the two armed of 2,4-bis(dodecyloxy)-6-ethynyl-1,3,5-triazine on the periphery are considered for liquid crystal application. The target compound did not exhibit a transition phase in its pure state but, after ionic interaction with 4-DBA which already possesses a phase transition, it showed a phase transition and liquid crystal properties. Methods: The formatted ligands and their complexes were identified by (infrared, ultraviolet-visible [UV-VIS], H.NMR), molar conductance and melting points, chromatographic studying and other physical studying. Results: The two ligands appeared good indicators and their complexes through many studies for determination of optimal conditions of complexation with mole ratio (M: L) (1:1) and the ligand (L 1) and ligand (L 2) gave octahedral shape via six-atoms donor. Conclusion: The coordination through nitrogen of imine group (CH=N) and oxygen of hydroxyl group of phenol or hydroxyl group of carboxyl in complexes and the formatted compounds gave good evidences for complexation and good suggestion shape for complexes for ligands.

which refluxed for ( 17 hrs ) in absolute ethanol then added ( 4 ml ) of H2SO4 to produce amino
oxadiazole , the resulting compound used in azotation then coupling reaction with various
coupling derivatives of phenol ( p-hydroxy benzaldehyde , p-hydroxy benzoic acid , p-hydroxy
nitrobenzene , p- hydroxyl toluene , p- hydroxyl phenol )to produce novel oxadiazole derivatives as a
ligands .The above ligands were investigated through their spectral methods (UV- Vis , FTIR
,1HNMR , Mass ) , Chromatography technique and studying of solubility in series solvents.
