One of the latest productions dealing with the British royalty is the 2010 film The King's Speech, which tells the story of the stammering King George VI. and his Australian speech therapist Lionel Rogue. Focussing on a monarch's speech defect, the film presents a different approach to portraying kingship than the many productions centring on the great deeds of British rulers.
