The problem: How could Tesco, the multinational supermarket giant, increase its market share in South Korea without opening new stores?
The solution: South Korean advertising agency Cheil, plastered life-size posters of grocery store displays along the entire length of a subway walls and added QR codes. Tired workers could now do their grocery shopping while waiting for the train home. They simply scanned individual food items to a virtual shopping cart and their groceries were home- delivered shortly afterwards.
