Dinner and Drag-Ball meet, in Lyndovnille VT, May 5th, 5:00pm There will be no furmeet this month, in Brattleboro, Vermont. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( It's beacuse of my current work and school situation. i simply cannot afford the gas or time to go anywhere until i get my first monthly check from my outside work - which started yesterday - meanwhile, i am still looking for work. Now, the next meet will be on Saturday May 5th, in Lyndnoville Vermont (no, i am not crazy) at 5:00pm, at: the The Pizza Man. This is an RSVP-event only, please request attendance in advance, before showing up. Now, why am i doing this? Well, the reservation part is only beacuse i -will- be allowing people to change in my apartment, and i require beforehand knowledge of anyone who comes into my home. But, why so near to my home? Beacuse, at 8:00pm, at Lyndon State College, in ASAC 100 (the main room, not the theater) - on campus, is the annual DRAG BALL - oh yeah furries, we are rockin it that way baby. https://www.facebook.com/events/176234762497717/ Video ad:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKpRyf0Ccks We will all suit up, or dress up (it matters not which) and go over and have a fun time. there should be alcohol on hand - they usually have a little wet bar there, and i will have or be a DD. I will ALSO NEED PRIOR APPROVAL FOR PEOPLE WISHING TO STAY AT MY APARTMENT who may be too tired or drunk to drive back home, as i only have so much space, and everyone needs to be out by 8am. Sound good? Sorry about the cancellation, but that is what my budget allows - plus, how often do we get to suit at a drag ball? :p - ps, the LSC WWLR Drag Ball does not require you to be in drag, male or female - you can come any way you wish. PS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!vvvvvvvvvvvv Dress code: Before the Drag Ball, everyone is disallowed from wearing the following, at the restaurant: Badges, ears, tails, paws or fursuits of any kind. Other furry stuff is okay, like collars, shirts, art stuff, etc - but i live a stone's throw away from the venue, in a conservative-ish town (except for the college crew) - so, please keep this in mind. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^PS: there WILL be a furmmet, at a TBA location, in Brattleboro vermont on the 26th of May, at three pm. _-Saturday, Janurary 28th, 3:00pm Burlington VT FurMeet, OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT-_ Hello there folks young and old, be they have fur, scales, feathers or skin. This is the Official Announcement for the Vermont FurMeet. The next one is occurring on Saturday, January 28th at three in the afternoon. We will meet at this cool and relatively inexpensive (depending upon how much you eat) place called BoLoco, on Church street. It's a very well-rated burrito place - yes, they make vegan ones too. Afterwards, depending upon weather, we may walk Church St., but this IS winter in vermont, so therefore i can make no promises. After that, we will then go bowling, but to the new regular location; Spare Time in Colchester, Vermont. Okay, here is the itemized list of what we are doing! -Meet up inside or at the door of BoLoco's, In Burlington VT at 3:00pm, Saturday, January 28th. -Depending on the weather, we will walk around Church Street in downtown Burlington. Brattleboro, VT furmeet- 11/26/2011, 3:00pm, @ Panda North Hey there furries, this is the official Vermont fur-meet announcement for the month of November! This month; Brattleboro! I know, it HAS been a while, and you all need some love down there after the flooding. So, weerrree bbaaack :D Okay, so here's the break down! UVM fursuit/costume haloween outing - ON HOWLLOWEEN DAY Hello there furries! It's time for out favorite time of the year - Halloween! :D :D Better yet, we get to have a meet that day - Monday the 31st, at 4pm, at nexusfolf 's apartment; -Apartment 4-24 of the Redstone Apartments, 500 south Prospect, Burlington Vermont. Everyone should bring some sort of food item or items, but in a potluck-style. This, is beacuse we will not be stopping at a restaurant later. RULES: This is NOT A NORMAL FURMEET. ALL IN ATTENDANCE, IF NOT WEARING A FURSUIT OF SOME SORT< MUST HAVE A COSTUME ON. THIS IS A COSTUMING MEET. We will be getting ready / dressing up, and whatnot. Then, we will go 'suiting around the University of Vermont campus ^.^ so make sure, if you have a fursuit, to have adequate outdoor feet/sandals. No badges after we set out, not non-costumes stuffs. Other then that, just use common sense ^.^ SO, let's run down the basics again, shall we? -Meet time: 4pm, Monday, October 31st -Meet up @ Apartment 4-24 of the Redstone Apartments, 500 south Prospect, Burlington Vermont. -Bring food, nothing major, but in a potluck-type format. -HAVE A COSTUME. September 24th Furmeet in Burlington, VT @ 3pm September 24th (Saturday)--> Zanner (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/zanner/) will be hosting a furmeet in Burlington Where --> Ken's Pizza @ 71 Chruch Street (http://www.campuslive.com/uvm/restaurants/kens-pizza-burlington) When--> 3:00pm What will we do later-->We will go fursuiting all over church street. It's late September, so hopefully the temperature will be slightly more accommodating. Once that is finished, or if we have a rain-day, we will go over to Champlain Lanes and bowl 'till we drop. Original Art Charity Auctions - Ends Tomorrow! Just a reminder that my Charity Auctions will be ending tomorrow, about 7pm EST. Most are still at their base price of $1 minimum bid. What I have for sale: all of these pieces are ORIGINALS! And, at one point or another, were featured in art shows at Anthrocon, What the Fur, or local art shows. August 27th Furmeet in Rutland, VT @ 2pm I apologize for late post. I am sorry it took long to post this. Life has been really busy >.>;;; August 27th (Saturday) - ChainerPrime will be hosting a furmeet in Rutland, Vermont Where - Sewards Family Restaurant--> 224 North Main Street (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g57383-d418412-Reviews-Seward_Family_Restaurant-Rutland_Vermont.html) When - 2:00pm We have a back room large table reserved for us.. What will we do later - Fursuiting is always welcome The more the merrier. We have a reservation for lazer tag at Gorilla Games for 4:30. They also have a gaming room. July 30th furmeet - Burlington, chruch st. @ 3:00 pm, gather @ Ken's Pizza -Sorry that this was not as in advance as it was on the Newengladfurs group or FA, but i thought i already posted here, AND there was that other super-early announcement.-ZannerGreetings, furries, this is the official Vermont Fur-Meet announcement. We shall be meeting at Ken's Pizza and Pub, 71 Church Street [802-862-3335] @ Three pm on Saturday, July 30th. Again: Meeting: Where - Ken's Pizza and Pub, on Burlington's historic Chruch Street marketplace :D When - Three pm (3:00) Saturday, july 30th. We will not leave the restaurant until around 4:30pm, to make ssure everyone has arrived. How - Please come out of full suit, but any and all other accessories you wish to bring are fine. i made sure Ken's is a casual place, that will be okay with us. What will we do later - WE WILL FURSUIT - so long as it is not raining. Those not haveing suits, which i assume will be most people, can hang around and watch (and please tape) the fun! July 16th - 17th Camping trip, East Clarendon, VT When--> July 16th (Saturday)- July 17th (Sunday) Campsite location--> East Clarendon (town next to Rutland) I was thinking of also being there on Friday. Please let me know if you would like to meet me there on Friday or Saturday. Rendezvous: 11AM on July 16th @ Whistlestop Corner Restaurant (http://newenglandphotos.blogspot.co.....estaurant.html) #212 Rt. 103, East Clarendon, VT 05759 Their phone #: (802) 747 - 7070 Whistlestop Corner Restaurant is next to a veterinarian and less than 3 minutes from the campsite parking lot. We will caravan up to the campsites. I suggest some of you carpool because the Appalachian/Long Trail (South) parking lot is small. Campsites Parking Lot: - Appalachian/ Long Trail (South) - just before rail road tracks/sign - there should be a Trail/National Forest sign - 10 minutes or less from Rutland Campsites info: - There are up to 9 campsites along a river adjacent Appalachian/Long trail. - It is a popular location. First come 1st serve basis. - Free. -Each camp site has fire pits. From Parking lot to Campsites: - takes 5-10 minutes walking to campsites. - You have to cross a long and narrow bridge. Don't worry the bridge is very safe and strong. Also, there is a swimming hole on the other side of the river that can be reached by going down a semi goat path. Many go there to swim. Early-bird furmeet announcement - burlington, july 30th, 3pm This is a super-early announcement for the next Vermont furmeet! This time, we shall be going back to the societal and cultural hub of our little state, for better or worse, Burlington! Church street, to be specific. I have been looking around, made some calls, and determined that we should meet at Ken's Pizza and Pub @ three (3:00) PM, Saturday July 30th 2011. We will not leave until at least 4:15, to make sure everyone has arrived, as well as to eat :p ( http://www.churchstmarketplace.com/dine/Mexican/ - the one to the right).Most likely, we will be wandering around church street marketplace afterwards, with fursuits, preferably (bring water people!!! It;s the middle of summer, it does not get hotter), and later on going to Champlain Lanes. Slipknot Tribute concert on Second Life Hey just reminding people that there is a Slipknot Tribute concert on Second Life and it will be held at Sand 'N Fur. Yes that's right! A furry club for guys and gals like ourselves. If you are attending just hit the reply button and give me your name so I can add you on Second Life. And from there I can start handing out Teleports. VTfurmeet - May28th, Brattleboro. Melllennium Pizza Vermont FurMeet: 28th of May, Bratteleboro: 3:00pm, Millennium Pizzarea FURMEET ANNOUNCEMENT! : it's that time of the month again - the Vermont Furmeet! :D This month, we shall be meeting in beautiful Brattleboro Vermont, at yet another new venue, Millennium Pizzeria! This place is much larger then pizza hutt, and i have actually givin a head up this time, so we will not get death stares like @ three tomatoes in Burlington :D. Anyway, We shall be meeting up at the pizzeria @ 3:00pm, and i will make sure everyone stays until at least 4;15, if anyone has travel issues. After we chat, laugh and eat, we shall choose by popular vote to either go fursuiting around town, or going bowling. If we DO go fursuiting, we shall still go bowling afterwards, but keeping in mind that not all can stay for that length of time, we may loose some people at that time. (if anyone else has any suggestions as an alternative to bowling, please note me.) Again, here are the facts: -Millennium Pizzeria @ 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 28th. Brattleboro Vermont. Rules (blahblahskipthispartblah) -Fursuits welcome -outside- of the pizza place. Otherwise, highly encouraged.
