So there has been some slacking going on...and I am as much to blame as anyone. Work has been super busy as of late and my wireless has been acting up (just ask Lexie what trying to talk to me on IM is like). Not to mention that our Weevil has a broken power cord and cannot access their laptop.
However, we are working on correcting all those problems and will be up and running again in no time. There are several things I would like to see happen in the weeks to come and please feel free to comment or whatever...
1. Veronica goes to talk to Jake and finds out about her paternity
2. Duncan finds out about Logan and Veronica
3. Lynn Echolls kills herself
4. Veronica begins looking into who really did kill Lilly Kane
5. A mystery of the week to loop around all of this (Now, I know we have the Mac parental thing going so we might want to use that b/c it will give Veronica someone who can relate after she talks to Jake).
But what do you think...

Since we tend to jump back and forth between the dates, I want to try and keep an ongoing timeline in order to help our players remember what happened when...

Happy New Year Everyone!
We have two new characters! Yay! Well...one new character and one temporary new character until someone decides to adopt him.
Our new character is Weevil (
where_is_weevil), played by my friend Gillian.
And I will be taking on Duncan (duncan__kane) until someone much more qualified comes along.

Good Morning or I suppose I should say afternoon. I hope everyone's holidays went well.
Our Veronica has made a journal, so everyone be sure to friend smarter_than. Also, make sure to join 
veronicam_past our flashback community. After all, no Veronica Mars rpg is complete without flashbacks. :D
And going along with flashbacks, we now have a Lilly, lilly__kane. Yay! Now if we could only get a Duncan and a Wallace...
So if you know any rpers looking for a game, please pimp us out. Please.

I have to admit to a love of Heathers . I really need to get that movie on DVD. But that's not the point...
The point of this post is to figure out just where in first season everyone wants to start the game. As soon as our Veronica and Logan make their journals we should have enough characters to start. My question to the group, then, is...do we want to start at the beginning of the school year or do we want to start a few days before Christmas? Or do you have another suggestion for where to start?
Let me know...
As soon as I get an idea of what people want to do, I will set up the first post.

1. BE ACTIVE. This game will only survive as long as there are active and interested players. So please try to post in both your character's journals and the main rp community at least once a week.
2. No God Modding. It's just rude.
3. No Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Original characters are okay as long as they're not over the top. We can't all be beautiful and unique snow flakes.
4. Stay true to character. I know this is a bit of an AU, but either was Madison is still a bitch. She's not going to suddenly go out and feed the homeless.
5. Keep OOC Drama OOC. Don't take it out on the poor characters...it makes them cry. Similarly, keep IC Drama IC.
6. All major plot points must be cleared by the mod. This includes murder, MAJOR theft, rape, pregnancy, etc. For the minor plot points...feel free to run wild.
7. HAVE FUN! That is, after all, the most important one thing. Right?
